Wintec AMPO 512MB PC3200 DDR 400MHz Memory

Inexpensive. Functions. None. I was a small worried about getting this for a Compaq (that I found in the trash). From what I bear in mind, Compaqs were quite picky about ram. I installed this along with the 512MB that was in there, and it runs like a champ. Passed memtest86+. (I'm utilizing stock timing.)

I applied this to upgrade an old Dell Dimension Computer system and it truly helped speed it up! The personal computer can now load certain programs quicker and can multitask much better. The computer system isn't applied for anything seriously intensive. Good for speeding up everyday usage! None, it worked to my expectations! If you need to have some low cost RAM to upgrade an old pc appear no further, acquire this, you wont regret it!

Fully compatible w/ affordable PCChips A31G mobo/AMD Sempron 3000+ Socket 754 and onboard VGA chip/sound, 160GB Seagate EIDE HD. Instantly recognized 2 sticks x 512MB as 1GB as expected. Unbeatable price tag and good quality (see below). None I was at 1st hesitant to get the lowest price tag "non mainstream" Wintec Ampo vs. Kingxxxx, Crucxxx. Even so, I tested my new entry level Pc using Prime95 torture test for past two days which includes one 12 hour sequence and one ten hour sequence. Wintec Ampo PC3200 held up w/ fully stable tests. I will get this brand in future for super-low price and stability. I suggest to other people with out hesitation, based on these data!

Cheapest 512 sticks out there (or were when I bought them) Dual channel with two of these none You don't have to purchase a "matched pair' to get dual channel. These had been 15 dollars cheaper than a 'set'.

Works, Affordable none I installed this in a Dell Dimension with a two.4GHz P4 Northwood. Doubled the ram to 1GB, which also happens to be the max capacity for that model.

I location these chips into Dell GX270's and Gateway #-4100's at work. Certain other chips have compatibility problems with other memory brands. These function with other brands even although the memory is PC-333 and this stuff is PC-3200. None so far.

I have used these in current builds of the Objective three+ MOBO COMBO, they carry out solidly, are not over priced and delivery the goods. Uncomplicated to install packaged nicely in plastic clam shell sort container keeps them safe during transport. Best upgrade for some older systems or new builds none Rapidly excellent performance

Plugged it in and it worked, employed to upgrade a dell/hp laptop. I wouldn't put it in a high performance machine. Decent ram for boosting your typical individual's sufr the internet and check e-mail laptop.

Low-cost, offered Bought for my sister's desktop (she couldn't realize why XP was slow on 256MB). Her computer is rapidly now. A different satisfied consumer. Can't give a five until it lasts for many years, but it worked out of the box.

Came in wonderful time even shipped from New Jersey to California. Wonderful packaging and no chance of damage in transit. The package sticker matched what I have on my invoice, but at boot immediately after install this is 2700 RAM not 3200 RAM. sigh....
