Very Powerful!
Comment:
I did a ton of research on graphics cards before deciding on the 4770. I wanted to spend around $100 and this card seems to outperform everything else in its price range. There seems to be a big jump in performance between $80 cards and $110 cards. I also did not want to upgrade my original 375W power supply (this card is more efficient than its peers). It runs World of Warcraft at max settings and the framerate rarely drops below 50. By default, the fan is set to auto, and it kept revving up and down every few seconds. With the Catalyst software you can change the fan to run at a set rate (50% in my case) and the max temperature has stayed below 60C. You can also overclock but I have not tried it yet. Overall a great card - I'm very satisfied. Running XP on a 5 year old Dell Pentium. Oh and they got it to me the next day with free shipping!

Excellent value upgrade
Comment:
I upgraded from the Radeon 1950 and found this card (the 4770) to be a great value choice. It drives my two monitor system with little effort and runs cool even overclocked on my somewhat dated desktop system.

XFX Radeon HD 4770 HD-477A-YDFC Video Card
Cons:It's price has not budged since it's release about a year ago. In my system with 6 120mm fans spinning, the video card during idle at it's lowest fan speed (30% q 1371 rpm) is the single loudest item in my Antec P183 case which came to be at a surprise since it is supposed to be of 40nm design which is theoretically supposed to run much cooler which requires less cooling resulting in lower fan noise.

Pros:This video card is an excellent card and well worth the money spent on it. I can run Dragon Age:Origins on full details (no AA/AF, 1920x1080) very smoothly as well as all Source engine games on full details (2xAA, 8x AF, 1920x1080).
Comment:
When pairing this card (as well as 5xxx cards) with a Gigabyte mobo, you'll need to turn off hardware acceleration for stability. It'll be difficult to recommend this card with the oncoming release of nVidia's GF100 Fermi cards and ATI's 5830. XFX Radeon HD 4770 HD-477A-YDFC Video Card
Cons:Only one, noise. With the fan in automatic mode, everything is under control: very low temps, nothing over 55-60 under furmark. But as soon as you croos the 60% mark, you can clearly ear the fan. At 80%, i cannot ear anything else, including 3 120mm and a 140 mm at full speed. That's some noise. But as it will never, even under a 21% overclock, be necessary to push the fan this far, i'm okay with that.

Pros:-Dual slot cooler (idle 40s, load late 50s on automatic fan)-Overlock like hell (935/910 core and 1050/1020 memory on the two i've bought. And that's without mod or bios flash. Everything stock.)-Replaced 8800 gt in sli, and leave them far behind. Saw an improvemnt of about 15% when stock, around 25% when overlocked. Sold 8800 for 100$, bought 4770 for 110$!
Comment:
Awesome product. Nice look, nice quality ( i've outperformed a lot of the overclocking reviews i've seem, with 45 minutes of testing. 935/1050 on stock volts and the fan at 65% is simply amazing), nice bundle. Fast shipping and well packaged. The 40 nm process is revolutionary: i never was able to reach 80 degrees (and believe me i've tried extreme oc and low fan), max 72 on on occt for 15 minutes. It is simply a galaxy away from my 8800 gt's idling around 65. Buy this!

XFX Radeon HD 4770 HD-477A-YDFC Video Card
Cons:Takes up two slots in the back of the PC, potentially getting in the way of a PCI card.

Pros:Good price.Good performance (still testing, but so far so good!)
Comment:
Bought this as an upgrade for an HP a friend purchased. No installation issues, worked right away. Noticeable improvement over what was in there before (which was hopefully a given considering it was an OEM PC). Only issue I had was it was a tight fit considering it took up two slots in the back, it almost got in the way of a PCI card that was needed. Still testing this on various games, but so far no complaints.

Nice card! Nice cooler!
Comment:
This is the spec reference cooler, notice the double height, with external venting. Very good performance, stays cool, and is overclockable. Runs quiet and has a very good fan design. Excellent kit, comes with adapters, and power connectors. I got this the first time this retailer offered it at $109, at $99 this would be the bomb, $119 maybe not so much since the 4870 can be had for $135. The GDDR5 RAM is a nice feature, this card runs every game I can throw at it on my X4 Phenom, with 8 GB of RAM, using at 22 inch HP 2207 monitor.
