Following owning this item for about a week I'd like to say that this cooling pad is great! At the quite least it keeps my laptop nice and cool when I play video games. In addition to maintaining my laptop cool it's relatively quiet, you can just barely tell that it's on. I would definitely propose a buddy to acquire this cooling pad. Can't believe of any.

Sleek Style, Quiet, Very good Design and style (efficient wise), Fits Laptop Well. Scratches easily but depending on what scratched it the scratches just rub off. Would have been nice with the other fans but it gets the job carried out. I havn't essentially applied this cooler for the laptop it was intended for as the laptop is having some production issues. On the other hand, after working with it with an older laptop that gets incredibly hot, it has kept it runny good and cool.

Thanks Newegg! My 15.6" Y550 Ideapad with a Nvidia 130m I bought from Newegg final year had heat issues when under complete load gaming, even to the point of shutting off. Propping it up with a book helped, but not sufficient. Now the bottom of the laptop is cooler than the top rated, and the aluminum of the cooler is still cool to the touch. I have Win-7 64-bit, so I don't know if the guy who had problems hooking up his mouse have been due to his OS. Worth the added dough, Acquire IT!

I like my Zalman Cooler! I use my computer system a lot and it keeps my pc cool as it ought to. It can hold my 17in laptop, also particularly quiet.... But sadly soon after 10mos of ownership it stop functioning:( . I am really upset right after paying 59.00 for it. The explanation I bought it was that over coolers were not large sufficient and they would give out right after a couple of mos. Extremely sturdy, laptop doesn't slide about when placed on the cooler. Pretty quiet, could hear my laptop fan over the fans in the cooler. Sadly, it couldn't cool down my laptop. It just runs too hot. Attempting to play tf2, without having the cooler, it will regularly reach temperatures of 95C on both the cpu and gpu. With this cooler it just delays the inevitable, generating it practically a necessity to carry around with the laptop at all instances. As even idling it will run at a smoking 65C, with the cooler it brings it down to a slightly far more manageable 60C.Blue LED is very vibrant, although I just place some tape over it. I wouldn't rate this a 1, just simply because it failed to function on my laptop. It's not an old machine, and on spec shouldn't have trouble running games such as tf2 (at lowest settings) but it's so poorly vented that it heats up also rapid.Well made product, unfortunately it was a lost result in in my case.

Produced from sturdy Aluminum, two fans, speads cool air evenly over the bottom of the laptop. It also has a usb port on the appropriate and left side that permits me to use either a single as energy for the fans. It also looks nice. None so far My laptop employed to get truly hot playing Globe of Warcraft and now it stays cool. Adequate stated. I'm pleased. I gave this a single to my girlfriend due to the fact she plays wow on her laptop and it gets hot also. I ordered myself a different one. Just know that This thing gets COLD due to the fact the aluminum gets rid of the heat far better than plastic of course.

WOW, newegg is SO Rapid! I ordered this thing and received in like four days (not exactly positive but it was convincingly less than a week) I'm absolutely going to continue ordering from newegg contemplating the duration of how long I have to wait for my obtain. On subject, this cooling pad is by far the best I've had. Just looking at it, you KNOW it's high quality. I own a Dell studio with an i7 processor and it gets quite hot underneath no joke especially when I'm gaming and now with this cooling pad set to high, I can actually, Literally, touch the bottom of my laptop and feel no heat. I was in complete honestly amazed by this thing and even if this were to final a year perhaps, I would definitely by a different 1. The only challenge I have with this cooling pad is that it won't fit in my book bag, it's rather large but that actually isn't an issue.

Does what it says it does. Dropped my CPU temperature by ten C. I can now permit my laptop to sit on my lap with no finding hot. nada Liked it so much I just purchased a second so I can maintain one at function and a single at household. It would be a bit a lot to lug about a laptop with the cooler.

Slick design, does the job, usb powered. Only 1 extra USB port. (It's alright, but would have been happier with two) I can't see myself holding this on my lap as it is very large. If you're working with it as a desktop replacement with your laptop then it is ideal! So far I'm very satisfied.

Properly-constructed, sturdy construction. Adjustable-speed fan. Wide enough to accommodate a 17" laptop . Non-slip surface. Storage region for USB cord. Added USB port. Exceptional cooling capacity. Really efficient, rapid cooling for my Dell Latitude E6500. Drops the core temp by 15-20 degrees C inside minutes. Now no noticeable dips in overall performance when I use the cooler. Size and weight are not problematic. USB cord is not built for repetitive use. The wire cover pulled away from the USB end leaving wire exposed. Did not see this reported by any prior reviewer on this or any other site. Would buy again.

Aluminum plate keeps the airflow cold. Appreciate the angle at which it keeps the laptop, has rubber feet to prevent sliding. two USB ports on every side and on right side you have the energy switch and fan speed handle. Even at full speed, the noise is really unnoticeable. None so far! Purchased it to awesome my new ASUS G51JX-A1 laptop. I was going to spring for the NC-1000, but read users comments that it may possibly not fit a widescreen. The NC-2000 is the excellent fit for this laptop. Very QUIET cooler. Employing the cooler at high speed prevents my laptop fan from even coming on! Has kept temps down to low 60's under complete load, when prior to it was at 70+. I would surely recommend this over other coolers that are more affordable. Recall, you get what you spend for.

Wonderful cooler.Keeps my gateway p7908 cool even under loads.Runs (almost) fully silent. None I supposed. I wouldn't have minded some more USB ports although. Does the job, and does it well.

Quite solid metal metal prime. excellent manufacturing and finish. Plastic frame for fans. Fans are quite quiet. It cools fairly well even with out the fans. storage region for usb energy cable is also little. Unfortunately the fans are vented on the bottom of the unit so when employing it on a soft surface the fans seem to do very small.

Good cooling, Dropped temps on my HP Dv9000 by almost 20C although gaming.Quiet, can sleep with it operating on low if it's not proper subsequent to my head.Finish is gorgeous, Purchased at end of August 2009, broke by Could 2010. Power plug in cooler broke so the fans no longer worked.Sent in for RMA, and have not heard nor observed sign of it due to the fact. Know it was delivered from tracking quantity, but no new or fixed cooler has been received in practically a year. Customer service reps constantly busy, can never ever get any person. Good cooler with terrible help. As extended as it doesn't break it's effectively worth the dollars. However, if it does break you could in no way see it once more. Effectively the cooler works fine, keeps it cool and all that. none so far So right here's a funny story, i got this for my friend and he had his other buddy place it on for him (i wasn't there and he's techtarded). This friend of his is also pretty techtarded (i made that word up) and put the factor on upside down. I hadn't been to this children home in fairly a even though so i didn't know and all i hear is how the laptops nonetheless overheating like crazy and is really alittle worse off. We starting thinking he had a virus or some thing so i had him install some points to aid with that and try to speed up his laptop or computer (which had been obtaining slower as effectively as overheating). I don't keep in mind what specifically he mentioned it for but throughout the time i'm telling him what to install he mentions the cooler and that cold air is blowing out the bottom of the cooler. I sat for a second and was like "is it upside down??" and soon after telling him what it was 'supposed' to appear like we come to uncover it is in truth upside down. Not only that but he got the cooler so he could play some games with out overheating. So not only is he stealing the air that was going to the laptop, he's also playing decently big games, and he gets frustrated easily so whenever it overheated and shut down he would just retain trying it until he got so frustrated he couldn't do it anymore. That definitely brought on the laptop to get ridiculously hot beyond what it ever must manage. I'm surprised it even turns on now...
