Really efficient, rapid cooling for my Dell Latitude E6500. Drops the core temp by 15-20 degrees C inside minutes. Now no noticeable dips in overall performance when I use the cooler. Size and weight are not problematic. USB cord is not built for repetitive use. The wire cover pulled away from the USB end leaving wire exposed. Did not see this reported by any prior reviewer on this or any other site. Would buy again.

Aluminum plate keeps the airflow cold. Appreciate the angle at which it keeps the laptop, has rubber feet to prevent sliding. two USB ports on every side and on right side you have the energy switch and fan speed handle. Even at full speed, the noise is really unnoticeable. None so far! Purchased it to awesome my new ASUS G51JX-A1 laptop. I was going to spring for the NC-1000, but read users comments that it may possibly not fit a widescreen. The NC-2000 is the excellent fit for this laptop. Very QUIET cooler. Employing the cooler at high speed prevents my laptop fan from even coming on! Has kept temps down to low 60's under complete load, when prior to it was at 70+. I would surely recommend this over other coolers that are more affordable. Recall, you get what you spend for.

Quite solid metal metal prime. excellent manufacturing and finish. Plastic frame for fans. Fans are quite quiet. It cools fairly well even with out the fans. storage region for usb energy cable is also little. Unfortunately the fans are vented on the bottom of the unit so when employing it on a soft surface the fans seem to do very small.

Good cooling, Dropped temps on my HP Dv9000 by almost 20C although gaming.Quiet, can sleep with it operating on low if it's not proper subsequent to my head.Finish is gorgeous, Purchased at end of August 2009, broke by Could 2010. Power plug in cooler broke so the fans no longer worked.Sent in for RMA, and have not heard nor observed sign of it due to the fact. Know it was delivered from tracking quantity, but no new or fixed cooler has been received in practically a year. Customer service reps constantly busy, can never ever get any person. Effectively the cooler works fine, keeps it cool and all that. none so far So right here's a funny story, i got this for my friend and he had his other buddy place it on for him (i wasn't there and he's techtarded). This friend of his is also pretty techtarded (i made that word up) and put the factor on upside down.
