I'm not confident the HDD "quiet" features make considerably of a difference.Classicly vague manual I guess I'm receiving old mainly because I don't take into account ๖ a spending budget case. This case replaces the original Antec Sonata, a case designed to lessen noise. The Z9 is noticeable louder than the Sonata, but keeps items much cooler. I tried Thermaltake's V9 prior to this; it was a a lot colder case, but has its own troubles. I look at the Z9 superior to both the Sonata and the V9 in the end. The only thing that genuinely bugs me are the fans, and I would advise obtaining the cheaper model (the non-Plus Z9) and replacing the fans. The temperature monitor is neat, but I'm not positive it's any more useful than what software program can currently tell me.One particular thing to contemplate is that some mid-tower cases with significant side fans can not fit in a case with a tall heatsink. With the Z9 I was in a position to move the side fans around and fit all 7 fans with a tall heatsink.This is a very good case overall, with a balance of cooling, volume (minus the Zalman fans), construction supplies, installation ease and aesthetics.

Quite light out of the box, but heavy and sturdy once built out. Lots of room for a lot of components, wire management, etc. I really like the massive led fans (and have not knowledgeable the loud whine noted in the previous rating). I am additional than pleased with this case and not only would I suggest it...I have to a number of buddies already. My power button came defective. Employed a jumper for a few days and a speedy call to Zalman and I'm up and running. This is the first Zalman invest in I have created for myself. I am really happy with the case and I am BLOWN away by Zalman's service. As noted in cons, I was put in the position to contact Zalman about my non-working power switch. I spoke with a receptionist (I assume) at Zalman USA who speedily and politely forwarded my call to Howard in the RMA department. He was super beneficial and seemed genuinely concerned that I had received a failed component. He mentioned that this is a brand new line of instances and replacement parts were not yet obtainable, but assured me he would contact Zalman directly and get me a new switch as soon as it was accessible to him. Less than a week later, Howard advised that he received parts from the main workplace, and confirmed the component I needed. He promptly shipped my component and my case is now totally functional. Several companies could take consumer service lessons from Howard / Zalman USA.

I bought this for my new build and i am very satisfied with this case. It had enough room to put everything i had inside and still has lots of room left. It offers a very good airflow. The case comes with 4 pre-installed fans which is more than any other cases in this price range. The temp inside my computer is 17-18 degrees Celsius (its kinda cold in my appartment). Be careful with the plastic retaining brackets that hold the top cover of the case. I didn't know where they were when i first tried to remove the top cover and i broke one bracket. Really affordable price and I got it price matched for $10 lower. Was easy install, all the wires, screws etc are all in separate bags and well organized. I don't think the fan switch in the front is working but I dont really need it. Overall, its a good case and would recommend a casual gamer to get this if there's a budget.

it's a really good case and you can attach up to 7 fans for the case and it comes with 4 fans already the build is okay quality the door is kind of rounded so it is hard to replace the door back on but nothing more after that other than that the price is really really good for such a good case

You really can't beat this case for the price - generally well-built (aside from the 5 1/4" drive bays, which isn't a big deal). The side panel is a little on the gaudy side, but still looks pretty good.The only problem that I ran in to was with my water cooling kit. I have a Corsair Hydro H60, and the radiator wouldn't fit with a fan mounted in the rear position on the top of the case. Moving that fan to the front-middle position on the top solved the problem, but I'm left with only one fan on top now.

Pleasantly surprised with the design, bother interior and outer, for a case at this low of a price. The wiring for the front panel though are a tad bit short unlike my older cases which makes it hard to perform a backbone test since my mobo had been DOA twice now.Overall though it's a neat little thing for the price and has a few shortcomings that can be overlooked at this price.

This case delivers great cooling, layout, and cable management at this price point. It is also better built than most cases at this price point. Zalman makes a surprisingly good case and I highly recommend this case.

Overall, pretty good case I have purchase, it have a lot of drives which fits all my requirements. The important part is that needs to have at least 1x2.5 slot for my SSD drive. The case looks pretty cool as I have blue lights coming out of the box and it looks good in the dart. However, the case for some reason, is missing a connector for the speaker to my MB. Since i don't use often, i don't really care about it. For the price, i am still happy about the purchase.

This was the case of my first build, really easy to manage the cables in the case, plenty of bays for extra hard drives, excellent air flow, allows you to see inside the case. I would definitely recommend this case for first time builds.

Sincerly i was not expecting at all the quality and the future this case offer for so little price, i usually buy antec or thermaltake but this one was really my best case so far, the management is made easy and there is plenty of room for the a big video card !!

Got this on sale to replace an old case I had.The case is well built (no sharp edges). There are anti-vibration rubbers for the drivers which also make it easy to remove a drive.Several fans are included with the case.I mounted the PSU with the fan facing inwards rather than facing at the bottom because I didn't trust the slanted air-intake at the bottom (with no dust filter on it).Really good case as far as I'm concerned.

This case is perfect for a budget build, it has all the features that expensive cases have, for a fraction of the price.Its not 100% toolless, as you will need scredriver to install some of the components, but most of the work can be done without any tools.It comes with 4 fans included, 3 blue led, and one solid black.Top of the case have 2 fan spaces, but if you mount a radiator inside on the back, the rear one would need a slim fan otherwise it will hit the radiator.Cables can be tucked between the right side panel and the motherboard tray, which is great for cabling management. You have 1/2 inch of space which is enough for most of us.Overall, I really like that case and for the price, you cant be wrong.

purchased this case do my new build with. cheap case plently of room for moderate set up, can get crowded if you fill all the slots. very satisfied with, easy wiring, black on black is a must these days, price rocked comes with enough fans to cool with ease and room for more. side panel fan will probably rub your psu but its nothing major. zero issues with case.

this is a great case for the money. it comes with four case fans, which means great airflow right from the start. its sturdy, has plenty of room, and looks really nice. the black interior is nice to have with the side window and the front looks cool. good buy!

This is my first Zalman case. For the price, it came pretty much fully loaded, with gadgets such as temperature display for the case, fan speed control, 2.5 brackets, 4 fans. However, this is not a fully tool-less case. As I was transferring parts from one case to this, it took me quite a while to finish it because the mb tray is not removable. Its hard to place the screws once the motherboard, cpu & heatsink was already mounted. In addition, the brackets are breakaway. The power supply is bottom mount so it helps to keep the case more sturdy. Overall, I'm satisfied with this case for the price I paid.

This is an AWESOME ATX case - It keeps its 'internals' nice and cool. The Temp. display is a nice bonus. The case is black inside and out and the blue LED fans make it look very cool :-) Hard drives are EASY to access!! AWESOME feature. Lots of extra accessories came with this case and it runs SUPER quiet. LOVE it - will buy it again.

these is a nice case for a normal build but you should not buy this case if you plan on putting high end parts. as soon as you touch the case you feel how cheap it is and once you start using it you really notice it. i do feel that the antec 300 would have been a better choice especially since it was less expensive.
