It sure looks great. Nice shiny ''heat pipes'' that don't actually transmit any heat, and a nice, pretty, Blue LED that makes my case look really nice. The only problem is, my q6600 runs at over 70 degrees C during any load. It should be 20 degrees cooler. For looks it gets an ''A'', for performance, a ''D'' at best. spend an extra $10 and get something better.

Can't really rate it as I bought it for the EVGA 790i Sli Ultra however its not compatible. The pipes interfere with the mobo surrounding heat sinks.

Worthless... Absolutly worthless. Can't even keep my Pentium D from overheating.

Just a quick retort for those who wrote about what this cooling fan won't fit into. I assembled onto Abit Fatality F-190D(?) micro-ATX MoBo with no issues, and into an Ultra Micro-Fly case. Fits without blocking any of the 4 memory slots or blocking anything else - no problems. Fan runs quiet and cool with no load, but have not stress tested it yet for loaded performance. Has a blue led glow, which I didn't see listed on any of the reviews or specs.

I bought two of these for two system builds. One went onto an Abit iB9 mobo, and works fantastic! The other went onto a Gigabyte p965-DS3. On the Gigabyte board (properly mounted) the heat pipes overlap the first memory DIMM slot, eliminating use of half the slots. A great fan if your RAM DIMM slots are farther away from the CPU. Compare this distance with various mobo's. The farther away the RAM is, the bigger an HSF you can install. I will be getting a different HSF for this board so I can go to 4 GB RAM. I love the fan, just wish my mobo did :(

The CF800 is a great SILENT S775 CPU cooler. It has its own temperature sensing speed control and runs smoothly and quietly while avoiding the annoying rapid fan speed variations common to many S775 systems. The speed control is set for silence rather than extreme cooling, but is capable of keeping even the very hot (95w!) Pentium D 820 cool with minimal noise. The CF800 has an excellent, solid mounting and comes with excellent thermal grease. Unfortunately, it is bulky and may not fit in all systems. Mine has no blue LED. I believe that is a feature of the CF900. This Cooler is best used in a system with a side air duct, and where silence is a priority rather than extreme cooling.

Pros: It's pretty and quiet. Cons: My Celeron D CPU that normally ran at 40C now runs at 60C. The fan will not run any faster than the lowest speed - lots of luck with Zerotherm support. The memory will be in the way on some motherboards. It just goes to show; READ THE REVIEWS and pay attention to specs when ordering. Wasted $...live and learn.

this fan will work if, 1, your cpu runs cool. 2, you have a ton of room around the cpu because they don't include the heat pipes in the size measurement. 3, full tower or very well ventilated case. i don't have the room so i could only use one stick of ram and my pd 2.66 533fsb runs idle at 48c. bought a new fan within days. if your looking for a high performance low price fan look else where

Don't buy this if you have a MicroATX Mobo, it is too wide and it won't fit. You have the ram and fan plug on one side, the power supply on another, the power caps on another, and the north bridge on the last.

Yeah, it looks similar and has the same features as other more expensive models from other makers, but it performs horribly. This CPU fan actually caused my machine to run hotter than with my previous one! Before you buy realize you may have to remove your mobo to install backplate. On the plus side it has a blue light...wait, that's not a plus.
