Zonet ZEW2500P MINI USB / USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter

A good wirless adapter for the cash, I'm working with it upstairs (the wireless router is on the 1st floor) on the other end of the residence on a Dell desktop pc. It has a superior signal most of the time. This is just what I was searching for, I like this USB hookup working with a cable rather of getting to use the direct plug in models (less space taken up at the USB hub and it's simpler to move about for signal strength concerns). The software that comes with it did not function with Windows XP Residence Edition on my Dell Personal computer working with the Ralink WLAN Utility and driver, it shuts down my internet connection just about every time the program is turned off. I applied the Microsoft Zero Configuration tool with the provided driver and it's working excellent, it logs into my wireless router automatically on boot up.. The USB cable could be a small longer.

I own a couple of of these and the connection is excellent. The router is on the opposite side of the residence and nothing unique, but these pick up the signal at full strength in the basement. None so far. Don't hesitate to buy 1, placing it on the desk with it's style is a large boon to signal strength. I wouldn't say it's excellent for mobile computers unless you don't thoughts carrying it about with you.

Works on Windows 7 64-bit with no a hitch. Windows automatically located the ideal driver for it and appears to be stable. The supplied cord is short for those with a large entertainment center for their laptop or computer. Even so, getting a longer mini-usb to usb cable is incredibly affordable. A lot smaller than the picture makes it out to be. It's about the length of a typical generic mouse.

Low-cost Won't function. My computer system detects the device, the drivers install, but it refuses to detect my network. I have emailed consumer assistance, but have yet to hear from them. There were lots of critiques exactly where people were having troubles finding this to work with Win7. I decided that with the low value I could roll the dice. I lost. If by some likelihood tech assistance gets back to me and we get it operating, I'll update.

This is the third one that I've purchased so far, no problems with Windows XP Pro, XP Property and Windows 7 Pro ࿠-bit). Well; for this price, what can I say? I prefer these more than the tiny USB Wireless Adapters since I can raise them a couple of feet in the air for optimum signal strength.

Functions perfectly. I get constant maximum speed. Windows 7 64 bit recognized it right away. None. I when had a PCI adapter, but I necessary to no cost up a PCI slot for a double slot GPU. This USB adapter is exactly what I required, and it's cheap too!

Quick and stable. I prefer this style to the dongle sort, which seems much more at danger of accidental harm. none I bought this style due to the fact I wanted to add wireless to a mATX board that didn't have an available pci slot. It's been a very very good performer. I've advised this 1 to other people, and they've been content with it, also.

Affordable I've often had a default network for it, well within range, but at times it doesn't connect with out telling it to connect to it. Lately although it has been flashing on and off for no apparent reason. The USB connection is perfect and no other USB devices are getting this dilemma... I wouldn't suggest this one. I just looked to see if there was a driver update for it, but no luck. I feel it's a hardware issue. I'll have to look into the warranty information.

Functions in Windows 7. Does not perform with XP SP3. At least...not on MY XP3 program. Included driver disc? Nope. Most current drivers from the web site? Nope. Automatic updates through windows? Without becoming on the net, I can't even try. Wasted income. Will by no means obtain another product from this manufacturer once more.

Worked without and difficulties in Windows and Ubuntu. None. For other Linux OSes you'll have to black list these modules to get it to operate : rt2x000usb, rt2x00lib, and rt2800usb.

Straightforward and fast setup. Much better than the Linksys wireless-n adapter I got a couple of months ago from Newegg. Inexpensive. none so far As usually, I got it in the mail only 3 days immediately after ordering on the web. Newegg is awesome.

NA The drivers included do not match the device for Windows XP. I attempted drivers far and wide across the internet -- nothing works. I attempted truly challenging -- The Drivers in Program Files/RA Link don't work, the 30MB driver file from RA Link doesn't work, Drive Guide.. nope, softopedia... nope. Nothing.

Low cost, usb, effortless to use, good range (after I figured out to put the antenna up). Installation disk did not contain an installer file, but an mp3 file instead. I had to download the installer file on my other personal computer and transfer it over via flash drive, but following that I have had no difficulties. Only time will tell regardless of whether this device is truly worth the cash, but so far it has proven to be a great option to high priced network adapters. Hopefully it lasts.

Works wonderful with the included driver CD on WinXP, Vista, and even Win7 64bit. Has excellent range, and stays connected rather properly. None. Hasn't dropped connection on me even when but, and my router is quite far away (also has a few walls in between the router and the adapter)

Cost, functionality, etc... Possibly I got a defective product. I can't say. But it gets a extremely weak signal from the router that is maybe 20 ft away. Then once again, it WAS much better than a Netgear wireless adaptor I purchased previously... so possibly there's some kind of an interference Regardless of the weak signal, it kind of worked... it wasn't reliable enough, on the other hand, so I purchased a various adapter. I really should have went for a B/G/N adapter from the very first place i... This and the Netgear had been each B/G only and they sucked.

got this little badboy along time ago in 2007 or 08 i feel ever considering that then NO Troubles!!!! i took this thing where ever i go!!! Why would there be any cons?!! even although it haves a short USB wire, but the reality if you have like a longer wire and you really want it than obtain one, but my wire is brief and fine :D

Superior RECECPTION AS ANY, LOWER PRICED, Fast, Effortless TO SET UP Appears TO BE CAUSING SOME INTERFERANCE IN MY SPEAKERS GET A "POPPIING" SOUND WHENEVER I OPEN THE Web-BROWSER WHICH DIDN'T Take place W/MY FORMER USB DONGLE. Perhaps RECIVER IS TOO CLOSE TIO SPEAKER OR WIRES AND THAT CREATES THE SOUND?

There are no pros to this item. It's terrible. This item doesn't function at all. I ordered it two days ago, received it yesterday. Spent 6 hours attempting to configure it. The drivers they sent were not recognized by Windows 7, the preset drivers Windows 7 installed were not recognized either. "Wireless LAN card not exist," add terrible English to the mix and you have quite honestly a egg product. Do NOT acquire this! Newegg is of course the best. Really honestly I have never ever experienced such great customer service from anybody. I'm hoping to get an RMA for this terrible item.

For about four months at a motel I could plug this into my laptop or computer and run a ethernet cable to my xbox 360 and usually get all green bars. Also, the motel wireless wasn't very very good, about about 2Mbs and .6Mbs. Don't notice a difference in latency between this and an ethernet cable! I have owned 3 unique usb network adapters and an internal really pricey 1 and this is by far the finest! Proper now I'm about 30' away and the router that is at the moment on the floor and I get about 3 bars or good to superb on windows 7. Also, the router is the cheapest netgear router created.

Ease of setup. Price was perfect. I've had this for over three years now and it's nonetheless working fine. none I will a lot more than likely purchase Zonet again based on my encounter with this product.

I bought 1 of these units back in 2006 and it is still working. The range is phenominal. I lent the unit to 1 of my neighbors who is nonetheless waiting for the cable company to hook up their net service. It is over 150 feet away from my router and it nonetheless gets a signal strength reading of 44% None None

Great replacement for 2 wire None I bought this wireless adapter to replace the 2 wire that At&t gave me. The two wire is horrid. I was receiving two bars from my wireless and the router was in the subsequent room. I plugged in the Zonet and full signal immediately! Extremely recommened!

I purchased it for my girlfriends dad. He has limited personal computer understanding. hasn't dropped signal when that I am conscious of in the month that I've had it. I'm sure I would of been told given that I don't believe he would of got it back on. Getts very good signal by way of 1 wall and about 20 feet distance Little massive.. but not truly a con. Sits desktop style Nothing wonderful. But it gets the job carried out.
