Pros: size, configuration, holds 2 drive
Comment:
This bracket solved a problem with mounting a 2.5" drive in an Antec NSK2480 case. This case holds 3.5" drives by the outer screw locations, which means standard 2.5" SSD mounting plates were too short. The finish on this bracket is nice. It has some rolled edges and Thermaltake logo stamped into the metal. It holds 2 drives, which is smart. This is the best SSD bracket design I have seen. Good product.

This is a pretty standard hard drive adapter. It did the trick, and I'm happy with it. I like how there is a lot of space around the hard drive in this adapter for air flow.

low-cost it, operates, came with all of the screws that i needed holds challenging drives way to close, i am not utilizing for ssd i have to old laptop hard drives, and they do get noticeably warmer than the other 3.five inch drive that i have. because the drives are so close really hard to connect the sata cables didnt fit in my hafs toolless drive bay so i utilised the integrated screws, since i payed 6 bucks for it and i ony have cheap old drives in it dont care it they get a tiny hotter, also in an haf932 heat shouldnt be an challenge. nevertheless 4 stars result in its so low-cost

Sturdy (made out of metal).Fits a 120GB OCZ Vertex SSD properly.Fits on a Coolermaster CM-690 case tool-much less bay completely.Supports two two.five" drives. Appears to have a very tiny clearance for two drives, so be careful using hot HDDs.

Worked perfect for the two Crucial 64GB SSDs I purchased. Quite secure and sturdy mount bracket. Any screws you would need to have are included (Mounting SSD to bracket and bracket to HDD bay) The openings for the screws that mount the bracket to the HDD bay were not fairly big sufficient, had to force in personal computer screws to widen them but every thing worked perfectly afterward. I ɛ SSD

Quite effortless to set up in my CoolerMaster Elite case. Worked effectively with the offered tool-less drive mounts, fit like a glove. This is a properly made aluminium aspect for the identical price or less then the competition's cheap plastic converters. Didn't set up itself (but just about) Thermaltake does it once again...thank you!

Produced of steel, so it conducts heat, and is more tough. Can mount 2x two.five" drives, and comes with all the necessary hardware to do so. Situation mount screws even come with rubber washers for noise control! None Buy it!

Cons: None.

Pros: Solid construction. Works well in an Antec Eleven Hundred case.
Comment:
The Antec Eleven Hundred case I purchased has a spot for two 2.5" drives but when I tried installing the Sandisk SSD, it was tight so I decided not to force it in and bought this adapter. The adapter works well with the tool less rail mount design of the case. The black finish of the adapter blends well with the black interior finish of the case. The adapter feels solid in construction and material.

adapts a 3.five" drive bay to two 2.five" drive bays Drives are genuinely close with each other.I could not flip one particular ssd drive upside down due to how close the screw holes are to eachother. I have an Enermax psu and had to modify the sata connectors to fit how close the drives are. for ů it wasn't that big of a deal to have to do some modifcations to my hardware but unless I went out and purchased some cable adapters.if they integrated a couple of a lot more screw holes for mounting the 2.5" drives or spread them a little further apart so that the drives are spaced much more than what seems like 3mm apart it would be a five star item

Comment:
Metal, sturdy, supports two drives Utilizes small screws to mount into the situation. If you personal an Antec situation, then BUYER BEWARE! If your situation uses Antec's rubber mounts to suppress noise from difficult drives, then this mount won't work. The screws are too wide to fit into the sides. I've by no means had a dilemma mounting a regular tough drive employing these screws (I personal two P180's and a Remote Fusion), and I believe it's a misrepresentation on behalf of Thermaltake to have it use those smaller screws. I submitted an RMA to Newegg, but it's going to cost more to ship it than the refund would be. I'm going to see if Newegg will make this ideal for me.

Its made of metal so it has high heat conductance and is extremely durable.Compatible with very a lot of unique three.five" slots. Fit perfectly with my harddrive and situation. Correct angle SATA connectors can not be connected to a harddrive in this rack mainly because the bottom of the rack obstructs the region needed for connection. As extended as you don't use suitable angled SATA connectors, this is wonderful.

1st time making use of this type of device. Functions okay - however might have concern with fit. Soon after assembling the laptop or computer and making use of converter, the SSD either slipped out of place or moved, causing the drive to bump out of spot. Could be case. Advise the converter, just be positive the fit is solid.

Precisely what it says it does, fits my 2.five in. SSD drive in 1 of my three.five in. bays. It works with my tool-much less bays as well just fine. I chose this 1 b/c of cost, being metal and not plastic, very good brand, and it doesn't enclose the drive in with the heat it produces, it's all open and virtually floating so it's good for airflow. None that I can feel of.

It fits 2 laptop size drives nicely and firmly. Mounting holes for those drives line up ok. Designed for 3.5 inch drive bay with side screws only. No bottom screw holes. Appear at any three.5 inch drive or 3.5 inch floppy drive and you see side screw mounts AND bottom screw mounts.Screw holes for three.five inch mount seemed painted by way of. Attempting to secure supplied screws in 3.five inch mounting holes would not thread unless excessive force was applied to "cut the threads" in the holes. I would contemplate RMA for issues with 3.5 inch mounting holes but due to price of product it just isn't worth the effor...or hassle...depending on how you see it.I expect superior good quality from Thermaltake. Their case fan products constantly appear to install cleanly and speedily for me.
