Cons: Have no use for it now.

Pros: Allowed me to update  my Motherboard
Comment:
I bought this cpu to update  my motherboard to run my kaveri APU. So it worked fine for the few minutes I used it. I have no complaints about this chip. I however only used it for a short time period.

Built a small, quiet server using this perfectly acceptable little processor. No issues whatsoever, as with all my other AMD builds. Recommended for light duty builds where thermal management, value, and reliability are important.

Cons: slower than core pentium

Pros: cheapishdecently low poweroverclockable
Comment:
The only reason I bought this was to use it with fairly cheap motherboard that supported 8x SATA ports, and it does a good job of that.I have to question the wisdom of purchasing this over a pentium for any other reason, since it's slower and the graphics portion, while faster than a pentium, is still no match for a dedicated card.I bought this over an A4 because it allows overclocking, while not costing significantly more for a pre-overclocked A6-6400k.

Cons: Quite hot with a dumb stock cooler , cant blame em though , ESPECIALLY not at this price point thats for sure .

Pros: NOTHING will beat this in gaming for this specific price point !
Comment:
Temps were from 40 - 50 degrees Celsius with stock cooler . Bought this for someone who wanted to play LOL at high settings and it played it perfectly fine at everything maxed out except shadows which was set to "High" as opposed "Very High" , it was tested at a resolution of 1360x768 & 1680x1050 . At 1360x768 res it got 40-50 FPS with 8GB RAM , and it got around 30 FPS at 1680x1050 . Couldnt test 1080p cause my monitor is terrible . RAM was clocked at 1400MHz cause the mobo defaulted it to that and I didnt know how to overclock it yet , it was actually supposed to be 1600MHz . Nevertheless still an amazing budget gaming CPU for the price , would recommend to everyone I can , AMD needs this type of recognition !

Cons: Bundled cooler is small, noisy fan

Pros: Runs cool and quiet. More than sufficient for my Media PC requirement. Combined with the right motherboard, requires little power to run stable.
Comment:
The build is for a 24/7 media pc that acts as a repository for my media files as well as for the occasional cable tv recording (analog only).Combined with an old PCI ATI650 (non-hd) tv tuner, the computer has sufficient "grunt" to allow me to record non-HD TV shows from a Shaw standard definition cable box (for later playback using Windows Media Center or XBMC). I can do this while watching some pre-recorded programs already saved on the hard drive or saved and archived to disc-media. WMC and XBMC do not come with default BD playback but other 3rd party players seem to do the trick without any issues. This machine isn't designed for gaming but I'm sure the IGP on the A6-5400K (HD7540D)would do a respectable job for light to medium gaming at decent resolutions. The machine also serves as the "print server" for 3 printers (a cheap color, a photo-printer/scanner and a large mono "workforce-class" laser printer so this machine is always-on. For what I need this machine to be, the A6-5400K is more than sufficient even though it's just a dual core. If I were to upgrade, the most that I would go would probably be a "quad" A8-5500 (not unlocked but still a 65W part). The included fan is my only issue. I ran it side-by-side with the oem fan from an FX-4100 and the noise from the A6's cooler was slightly more noticeable and with a high-pitched whine at higher speeds. Since the FX4100 had a 95W TDP compared to that of the A6-5400K at 65W,then the former's oem fan still became a cooling "upgrade". Neither the CPU or memory were overclocked for this machine. Installed inside a fractal core 1000 case, I have yet to be bothered by the cpu fan during everyday use. The system has been running cool and quiet 24/7 for a little over a month and has not presented any issues. This review was modfied by poster @ 01-30-13 02:47 AM

Cons: There is no drivers available for Linux from AMD website for the graphics

Pros: easy to install, no problems, handles my Facebook games and other light games with no problems at all
Comment:
have it overclocked to 4.0ghz with the stock cooler and still stay under 90degrees under a load. it streams 1080p great and pairing it with another graphics card you can see a huge boost in performance.

Pros: very cheap for the price !
Comment:
Love this processor its fast and doesn't overheat if you are not over clocking. I don't like the heatsink that come with them always buy a aftermarket one for best results.
