Cons: None really, except for the price which is a bit high, especially when compared to off brand versions of this battery.
Pros: Came fully charged and well packaged. Also came with all the necessary instructions for installation, including how to properly dispose of the old battery which is important considering everything it contains. |

Pros: - Well packed in box.- Came mostly charged. Comment:
Battery came packed inside a box, with a cardboard cutout keeping it in the middle. This kept the battery safe during shipping (this product box was then also packed in NCIX shipping box filled with air bags). I got this for my APC BX1300LCD-CN as my previous battery expanded and burst after 6/7 years of use (had to use a crowbar to remove it). New one slid right in and had 4 bars out of 5, it charged overnight and is working just fine now! |
This is the second time I've replaced the battery in my APC Back-UPS XS 1300, which I've owned for nearly a decade now I believe. Sadly the LCD display stopped working with this new battery for some reason, but based on my research it seems LCD problems are/were common with this model, so it probably has nothing to do with the battery itself. Everything still functions 100% and the software can tell me everything the LCD did, so it's no big loss. Will definitely be buying a new UPS, and from NCIX, next time my battery dies.
