I purchased two of these to replace batteries that were no longer working for my APC Back-UPS XS 1300 unit. The original batteries would no longer take a charge, and the unit beeped to no end (tip : hold the mute button for 10 seconds to force this beeping off completely).Replacement batteries were easy to install and worked right away. No more beeping, and I have my power supply UPS back! My UPS is the older version of the current Back-UPS XS 1300, so I do not know if they work in the newest revision (untested). Cheaper than replacing the unit as a whole though. |
Installation is pretty easy. I had to look up online how to open up my UPS, but once I did that, snapping in the new battery was pretty easy. Just disconnect two wires, slide out the old battery, slide in the new battery, and reconnect the two wires.
