Pros: Super fast, quiet, reliable
Comment:
This drive is insanely fast.Purchased to replace a laptop hard drive, and it changed the windows 7 boot time to about 7 seconds.Consistent transfer speed R/W average is about 200Mb/s.If you're transferring to/from a USB or network, you won't get the speed out of it though.

I got this drive to upgrade a small slow hard drive in an old netbook I am giving my daughter. I couldn't give her something that is old and slow so this was just the ticket for it. Sped up the Lenovo S10 to a significant degree as the hard disc drive was its choke point. Anyway, the drive was installed and Windows 7 loaded with no issues. I've used it quite a bit over the last three weeks and it has been rock solid stable.

Cons: Setup was a pain/BSoD.Locks up/Freezes somewhat.Small Capacity.

Pros: FAST!Cheap! 85$ post rebate.
Comment:
It's a good drive, if you get it to work.Overall I'm going to give this drive 4 stars.Reasons: I would see how this would be non user friendly during installation. It's far too small in capacity; quite frankly I'm having a hard time understanding why I only got a 120GB version. Seriously people get 240GB or larger you will thank me later! OS + Drivers + Necessary programs already adds up to about 40~50GB out of the 111GB. Expect Blue Screens of Death when booting up pre install. (This took me a while to figure out how to fix. Had to initiate the OS install from a secondary drive to avoid crashing). Besides that, works fine. We'll see how well it does down the road.

Cons: wish the hard drive space was bigger, but will buy a larger one in the future.

Pros: great price for great speed and decent performance for a SSD, no problems so far.
Comment:
this SSD was on sale for $80 and I jumped on the opportunity to finally get a SSD hard drive for my desktop. I tried the Hard drive as a internal drive in the PBO core media player, but found that the playback and read wasn't that better than using a USB external hard drive. But overall, my computer is booting up pretty fast now, more like under a minute.

I've had two of these in RAID 0 for a few months now. No issues so far. Although my motherboard is SATA2, I've found most load times to be quite a bit faster than my old 72000rpm drives in a RAID 0. Especially the time to load applications just after login. 1-2 seconds and I'm off. I would buy these again.

Pros: Fast Win7 Start-up, Price after rebate, Good for day-to-day usage
Comment:
This is good & happy upgrade for my Dell I3 17R laptop at this price. Win7 start-up takes only 15 sec while it used to take 5 minutes (too many pre-loaded software from Dell, I guess). I had this for 2 weeks or so and it works great, no error/problem at all. Although I didn't do any test or run any game, for day-to-day usage, I found it's sufficient and perform well as my Plextor M3S 128G which was priced at $184 few months ago. I give this 3 star as I am satisfied so far.

Cons: - mounting bracket only uses fine thread screws, which I just couldn't make work in my antec nine hundred- randomly freezes (about every half hour)

Pros: - cheap- fast
Comment:
For the price, this ssd seems to be the best bang for your buck, and although I haven't gotten the BSOD errors that Sandforce controllers are known for I get these random freezes every so often. It freezes up everything for about 10-30 seconds each time, and it's completely random. Since the Crucial m4 was on sale (and apparently much more reliable) I went ahead with that.

Cons: Firmware issues.

Pros: Similar to all the other 2281s, works as advertised.
Comment:
Bought 2 of these one of them refuses to be updated by their firmware updater, that is after I searched for 10 minutes on their website to find the updater. No BSODs but still annoying.

Pros: -Works exactly as advertised-$1/GB
Comment:
It's an SSD, it's 120GB, it's got a SandForce controller, and it works just like you'd expect it to. It's not the fastest drive out there, but it's good enough for casual use; instant resumes and 20-second boots are fine for laptop use. It appears to be a reliable drive (no strange errors as of yet) in the laptop I have it installed in.

Pros: good price, decent space, good rebate

Reaplaced the 80 gig SSD in my main machine with this.(put the 80 gig in my wifes machine). I just did a disk image and it worked right off the bat with zero problems. Nothing outstanding about this SSD in relation to others but it came with a good MIR. Also comes with its own 3.5" adapter which is a nice little bonus.

Cons: Needed some tweakingsGave some PITA

Pros: FastQuietGreat CSComes with installation acc.
Comment:
At first it was a pain to make Windows 7 to run so I had to reinstall. Then I had problems with hibernation/sleep. The customer service was great and replied within 24 hours. All that was needed was a firmware upgrade and the proper drivers. Now all is fine. Also I had problems with _The MIR_ just because the rebate house they are dealing with is taking way too much time to let you know everything is OK (in my case it took more than two months) but finally, the MIR is supposed to be on it's way. And then again Adata CS was there to help me. They responded quickly and tried their best. Interestingly, not long after complaining politely I had my D... MIR serviced (if I can say so):[ So in my book, Adata CS is +1.Also, the rebate house does not offer French speaking. I might be pretty good _voire_ not bad at writing but speaking is another story. So I had to deal with a somewhat arrogant Madame that was thinking speaking English is supposed to be easy. I told Her a little phrase in French and suddenly She said: WHAT??? I should work on that. Anyway, I have also an 8GB Adata SD class 10 working just fine in my Nexus One. So I'm looking forward to buy Adata products again. So far, I'm pleased. As usual, NCIX was perfect and so was the mailing service. That's all folks! This review was modfied by poster @ 01-29-12 04:50 AM

Cons: Async SSD and slower than high end SSD. Suggest to get a more reliable SSD than this one.

Pros: Low price mid range SATA3 SSD while on sale.
Comment:
Got two of this SSD and setup as RAID0 with the intension to replace the old single SATA2 SSD boot drive. One of this SSD died less than 2 weeks after setup the RAID0 with almost zero usage. Typical tweaks like no index for the SSD RAID0 did not save this SSD failing so soon.I have not migrate the OS to this RAID0 yet, but I have to go through the painful lengthly RMA process.

Cons: Flash update  fails. Firmware installed with help from support.

Pros: The drive seems fine.
Comment:
Edit: Help from Adata tech support cleared the issue. Downloaded fix and it worked. Thanks Adata.Downloaded flash client and firmware. Attempted flash on drive in AHCI both as OS and client drive and with full permissions set and driver enforcement disabled. No update  of the firmware revision. SSD companies that do not create  working firmware update s do not do well imho.I messaged Adata with the issue and will return within a week (and buy from a reputable support company) if there is no fix. The drive works well, but the company needs to be better in the support arena. This review was modfied by poster @ 01-12-12 04:38 PM
