Great PSU, specifically for the price tag. Does what it is intended to do and powers up all of my elements perfectly fine. Really quiet as properly and it doesn't heat much. N/A Wires are extended adequate for mid-towers, I had no troubles reaching everywhere I had to with them. If 430W is sufficient to energy up your machine, I recommend this PSU because it's cheap and excellent.

80 plus certified! No exactly where does it mention this in Newegg's description, but when the box arrived, it had the 80 plus cert label. Went and checked 80plus.org, the model is listed there. Fit my Sonata II like a glove. 30 plus amps on the 12v rails. Some other PSU 80 plus cert are only 25 amps or so. Nice for that higher existing stuff. The fan is weak. Gets a taste bit warm, but not hot per se. Got this PSU and a Biostar mobo for 80 bux. Can't figure out why Newegg does not list the 80 plus cert. The 400w Corsair was about 20 dollars far more plus ship After the MIR for the Corsair. Great bundle deal. My preceding Antec PSU knowledge has been poor. The PSU that came with my case died immediately after 8 months. Hope this is a sleeper of a item and works out well.

Excellent clean and stable energy feed!!!This PSU has less than a two% variance in power output throughout testing. That is certainly remarkable in relative terms. None at all This is ideal for anyone creating something similar to thisAny modern Processor1-2 Difficult Drives1-two Optical Drives1 Modern day GPU32GB Ram or significantly lessThis is one of the cleanest operating PSU we have ever installed

Antec items are generally solid. Definately a name brand with a established track record of solid goods that you can trust. As for the PS itself, has lots of connectors and more than sufficient energy for a normal residence laptop. Good as a replacement for low-cost PS that could come with typical systems. The PS that i replaced would make my pc reboot randomly from time to time by itself and then eventually wouldn't even turn on anymore. Dilemma solved now. None so far. Great rates + Free of charge shipping + Next day delivery = Awesomeness!!! No1 beats newegg!

What can you say? It operates as advertised. It's a no frills, fundamental PS. It's a simple, no frills PS but, it's also cheap. You get what you spend for I got this for a "frankenstien" personal computer I was putting with each other from parts I had on hand and this fit the bill.Following over two months I am still wanting for my rebate from Antec.I e-mailed them and they gave me the standard generic rebate nonsense about becoming backlogged. If Antec gives a rebate(s) once again, (for any product) don't even think about the rebate when figuring out the final price tag as you lbe waitng and....waiting for it.....if you ever indeed do get it.

Nothing at all really incorrect with the power provide I purchased a mini ATX case with this power supply mounted in the bottom of the case. The cables were not long sufficient to reach the CPU energy header. Sent it back RMA

Functions as it must. The one that came to me was 80plus certified, but they don't look to mention it on this web-site. Hmmm Not cheaper? Worked fine for a really fundamental construct with a dual core Athlon II, and micro atx motherboard

For what is does - it does it properly. 45 bucks can get you a steady moderate PSU with no problems. I only require 430w for my Computer - not a gaming rig, far more a every thing else rig. Not seriously a con so no eggs lost - Only 3 SATA energy hook-ups but with a 430w PSU what a lot more do you want - if you want more than that, might will need a higher PSU.

The Antec name, cost and the satisfaction with the same unit that came with my Antec 300 case made this a single a no brainer. Specifically if my final expense is า.95 following an Antec บ.00 mail-in rebate. None as I've but to put it use, and the rebate was just mailed nowadays. Some reviewers appear to have had negative experiences with Antec rebates...hoping not to fall into that category. I'd knock off an egg if I don't get the rebate. Only one egg mainly because i believe the PS is great.

Only had the product for about 3 months. Was applied to replace a failing power supply in 1 of my internet hosting servers. N/A Seems to be quiet and with the further power efficiency, this was worth the cost when bought months ago at a lowered cost with a rebate. Created it significantly less high priced than affordable power supplies.

It runs the computer and doesn't look to have damaged something yet. It tends to make a LOUD buzzing sound for a couple minutes on startup prior to the fan starts up. This is the second one of these I've attempted right after I RMA'd the initially 1 for the same dilemma. The pc runs fine correct now, but the noise indicates to me that it most likely won't be fine later. I purchased this primarily based on Antec's reputation for top quality. It seems undeserved primarily based on this limited knowledge.

Had adequate connectors for me. Installed nicely. It didn't reduce me while installing. What more can you ask for? None that I know of yet Seems like a decent power supply with active pfc. I went with this due to the fact the energy in our region fluctuates alot. hopefully this will guard the personal computer

This issue works excellent, I got a new case and didn't want to danger my equipment to the Deer created PSU, got a brand I generally use & trust. For the price there isn't any, maybe if it was 10 bucks much more I'ld want a 2x4 CPU energy connector. Highly recommended, have yet to have a Antec fail on me however

Does its job and does it well. Good beefy იV rails for such an economical PSU. Handles my Radeon HD 4870, Phenom II X3 720, two sticks of 1.6V RAM, really hard drive, DVD drive, an assortment of USB peripherals, and 5 case fans just fine. Pretty quiet, also. ATX12V cable is a bit short if the PSU is mounted in the bottom of the case as in my Antec 3 Hundred. Performs, but it's a bit of a stretch. May be problematic in some taller instances.

The cable length is ideal for my midtower case and it has lots of energy for my price range create. It also comes with a 6-pin connector if you want to use a larger end video card (although clearly you can't go also higher finish or you'll require more energy). It's also really quiet, I don't hear it at all. None!

Fantastic value due to current Shell Shocker discount & MIR. DOA: Voltage to unit good; no output voltage Unit appeared to be in original shrink-wrapped packaging and then packed in a shipping box stuffed with brown paper to keep it from rattling around. No sign of harm to packaging or unit. But it was DOA.

This will under no circumstances break. It survived some nastiness with my energy and kept my method alive. I adore it. It's an superb PSU. Completely nothing. But. Dont be fooled into considering you need to have more wattage then you really do. I'm running a Phenom II, 9800GT, and a couple tough drives and 430W is A lot more then enough.

Exceptional cost, specs, and so on. On Shell Shocker discount plus MIR. None however. My earlier post was primarily based on my lack of understanding relating to PSU testing. I have revised my Tech Information rating to "low". As soon as I did a tiny research and placed a PSU tester on this unit, it worked just fine. My apologies for jumping the gun and I hope Newegg will omit the earlier DOA overview. Arrived effectively packaged and packed.

I bought two of these for testing and also to have an added about for consumers. I performed voltage tests on both energy supplies and the voltages had been stable beneath no load and soon after getting installed. 1 was utilized on a computer with an Athlon XP 2500+, ASROCK K7S41GX motherboard and two video cards. The other one particular was installed on a eMachines T5020.There are far more than adequate connectors for legacy and new devices. None. With no load, my power meter shows the energy usage at three W.All round a good power supply for standard office and property user systems.
