Cons: earpads are lint trapsnot the best sound

Pros: Extremely comfortable
Comment:
Got these when they were on sale for $70 and they haven't disappointed me yet. They are extremely comfortable and I have no discomfort wearing them for hours at a time. The only drawback is that the cloth earpads included pick up lint and hair EXTREMELY easily. Its a pain to clean them as washing them doesnt remove anything. I usually use duct tape or a lint roller to pick up most of the stuff, but its almost impossible to get them as clean as they were out of the box.

Cons: Tight on earsWhite noise when not listening to anything

Pros: Sounddurability
Comment:
The 1500 is a decent headset especially for its price. Although i did not get it at NCIX and forgot to ask for a price match, 69.99 is not bad. The headset is a tight on ears initially but the quality is great, the foam pads feel nice. IT has a 2 year warranty, so don't expect it to die instantly. The headset is extremely durable, able to withstand headset and twisting. As again, this headset is of good value.

Cons: -Flimsy, cheap

Pros: -Sounds decents
Comment:
These headsets sound fine, mic is ok. The mic sometimes gives off this really high pitch sound that hurts my friends' ears when we talk online and sometimes it makes you sound robotic. But what really made me feel that this product is absolute garbage is their flimsy design. The volume control device in between the two wires is the bridge between where the two wires connect to make the device function properly. However if you catch this long wire on anything and it tugs, this could result in the wires being pulled out of the volume control device. It was surprisingly easy to do that, and when you open it up you will then realize it is their garbage soldering that is making it so weak. The metal looking sides are not even metal, they are cheap plastic brushed like metal. If you want to get a headset that is not easy to break or ruin then definitely don't buy this one, I trusted everyone's good rating on this product but this product has disappointed me to the extreme. Worst headset I have ever gotten, regret this $90 so much, absolute waste of money. I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE THIS 1 STAR RATING BUT UNFORTUNATELY NCIX DOESN'T ALLOW ME SO I HAVE TO GIVE IT 3 STARS, IF I HAD AN OPTION I WOULD GIVE THIS NEGATIVE STARS. AVOID THIS PRODUCT AT ALL COST, IT'S CHEAP AND FLIMSY NOT WORTH $90.

Cons: Earcups can attract a lot of dust and it's a bit heavy, so it can flatten your hair.

Pros: Has a clear mic for communication, and the sound isn't bad.
Comment:
Solid and good headset for people without a sound card. Also comes with a nice braided cable.

I bought these for gaming, found the sounds kept reversing left to right and front to back, in many games.I went to corsair forums to see if it was just me but found manyposts about it they say they are aware and are working on a fix....7 months later and same statement these are no good for gaming there are over 100 reports of this issue on the forums.I would not recommend this product for anything but listening to music. This is by far the worst headset ive ever owned

Cons: -The stupid blue light on the volume controller will not go off, even when your pc is off.-They would hurt my head after 30mins for the first 2 weeks.

Pros: -No hiss when no sound is being played.-Loud with the built in sound card.
Comment:
I got this to replace my old Turtle Beach X11's. I don't notice that much of a difference in sound quality, but the x11 had a horrible hiss because of it's amp and getting rid of that is a big plus for me. The headset kind of hurt for a while, so to break the headset in I stretched it over night on objects. I don't really use 7.1 much, but when I have it on the music is louder, so I keep it on. Overall great headset.. love it.

Pros: Great sound for the priceReally have the feeling of 7.1Mesh cableMemory foam
Comment:
The head band is stiff but the memory foam make these really confortable on the head. The software is needed to enjoy the potential of the 7.1 and is not included in the package but is downloadable and easily found on the website. The bass are a little low but with some tweak in the software you can make it enjoyable.Definitly one of the best in the price range and easily comparable, even better than the g35.

Cons: Lack of BassStarts to feel heavy after a few hours

Pros: Design & Build QualityBraided CablesCLEAR Sound QualityAffordable (Seems to always be around or lower than $60)2-Year Warranty w/ Corsair's well regarded support
Comment:
First off, this headset looks great. The build quality is also excellent. When you first test this headset, you understand why so many people love it. It's crystal clear sound unlike many of other gaming headsets out there. However the lack of bass was also quite clear when you start playing your music. You can get a bit more from the headset's Control Panel but not much. However I love the fact Corsair includes 2 years instead of 1 year of warranty. All my past Razer headsets seemed to just die after a year when the warranty ran out.

Cons: Doesn't make toast.

Pros: Foldable, noise-cancelling, comfortable, well-suited for people with big heads (I have an extremely large head - "XXL" hockey helmets from CCM do not fit me, I have to buy Bauer).Good price (Got it at $80 after tax and shipping), good brand.Comfortable over long periods of time - which is important for a hardcore gamer or nerd who uses headsets a lot.
Comment:
This is probably the best headset I've ever used in my life.I've owned MANY gaming headsets - SteelSeries Siberia V2 (too small for my head, uncomfortable after long wear), SteelSeries V5 (was decent but broke a bunch of times), Sennheiser something. In any case, I consider myself an avid researcher and gamer. In terms of 7.1 quality surround sound, you actually cannot beat the Corsair Vengeance as a USB headset. The downside is obviously that it won't work with portable devices, but I have another set of earbud earphones (see my other reviews) that I use for that -- why would I bring a bulky gaming headset around? The portable-ness of the headset is evident when you move.I recently moved to New York, and the headset fit my backpack perfectly, even with a bunch of crap everywhere surrounding it.Side and head pad are comfortable, adjustable, and most of all, durable.

Cons: Stiff and slightly inflexible headband, takes a month or two to soften up.

Pros: Excellent headset, also very good 7.1 Dolby surround sound virtualizationvery good sound quality for the price of course not Sennheiser audiophile quality sound but still nevertheless very good.
Comment:
This is overall an excellent product well fado and designed from beginning to end.The sound drivers and sound quality here in Windows 8 is exceptional considering the price point. Of course you do not get the same depth, soundstage, accuracy as you would say on my Sennheiser 650. This is not to be expected, they are simply sold as instated as a gaming headset nothing more nothing less.I find it interesting how Corsair has developed and branched out into many other features of hardware in the computer world, the quality of this particular piece of plastic and wire outshines many other close competitors. If you looking for something that's pretty tough as really good sound and is a nice side microphone that enables you to use it for Skype or as I'm using it right now In a program Called Dragon Naturally Speaking,In Vista 64, there is a slight hissing and buzzing sound when the microphone is enabled, that is not present here on Windows 8 Pro, that shows me that there always has been issues with audio and graphics drivers in Vista.I also like the long USB cable that is braided for extra durability, I am sitting here dictating this at its maximum length which looks to me like about 9 feet, again a very thoughtful feature on the part of Corsair's design team.Highly recommend you will not regret spending a few dollars for something that is very good in both its audio and mechanical Oh and yes I did buy these and in NCIX and I am a verified owner even though it might not be written or in NCIX is incapable of finding out that I am a verified owner.

Cons: - sometimes there is quiet white noise- tight on your head *My head is small/medium sized

Pros: - VERY VERY LOUD- Good sound
Comment:
Right away from using this product, I am not impressed by most of its features.- the microphone was not as good as my old headset's mic- the sound is so loud that I have to adjust my computer volume to 4/100- headset is tight on my head (probably will need to take it off every hour to relax)Though I do not have much experience with this headset, I do not think it is worth the $99.99 (I bought this on a Black Friday special for 59.99) for its quality.

Pros: Everything except the white noise/hissdecent bass and midrange, good treble

If you care about fidelity, don't install the Corsair drivers. Just plug them in, go to playback devices/properties and turn 'line' and 'microphone' to zero and 'speakers' to 1, if you want to have a better (2.0 channel) experience.

Cons: it is totally uncomfortable I wish i could return it and get a different head set.

Pros: the sound and everything seems to work pretty well like advertised
Comment:
I brought this headset mainly for the comfort cuz of the memory foam but sadly enough I can't even play for 30min and it pinches and press on my ear. I play online games 3hr - 12hr + so it really sucks paying 70$ for a headset that said to be comfortable for hours. I wish that there was a way to test it out before buying it. For all the people who review it as comfortable, I am sad I believed it.

Cons: - No bass- No bass- Hurts head after 30 minutes- I dont think the 7.1 is dolby. 5.1 is though

Pros: - Good sound after tweaking- Good for voice chat- Cheat got it for 69.99
Comment:
A gaming headset needs bass. Bullets and explosions sound lifeless without it.The headset has slightly crisper (treble) sounds then my logitech g35 but the no bass is a deal breaker for me. Bass gives you that excitement that comes with an explosion, rpg, or earthquake. Also I agree with the previous reviewer below. There are ticks, hisses, and rattling sounds at times (however better audiostreams have less of this problem). When I played around with the equalizer settings I got this moderate sounding headset to a "good/ok" sounding headset.Comfortability is low on this headset. Hurts my head quite a bit more then my G35's. I thought the fabric ear cups would be better then leather but I was wrong. So not a comfortable headset. The sorround on it is good. The positional audio on it was great (I was able to pinpoint the enemy quite well). However I was able to hear more going on with G35's (dolby 7.1) for example Sirens, fire, babys crying, was much more pronounced. Granted this extra ambience may hinder my pinpointing but it makes for much more immersive gameplay. Also I think this headset only had dolby on 5.1 which may be why these are less immersive. All in all I think I would have liked this headset alot more if didnt know that there were better (but more expensive) headsets out there. Everythings on this headset is 'good' (sound, mic, 7.1) but its not great nor is it the best. And gamers want to be as close as they can to the best.

Comment:
Can't go wrong with this headset. Best bang for the buck value. Just one thing though. The 7.1 Dolby Headphone technology sounds great but don't think it will replace a real 7.1 home theater system. On the bright side you have a very immersive sound and you won't drive you neighbors crazy!

Bought these for use with Skype and gaming - This headset excels at both.Voices come though clearly while in game, excellent mic quality, nice audio cable and build quality. I used to have a pair of Tritton's and the mic broke after a month, 6 months with these and no issues. The only thing I haven't used these for is Movies so I can not comment using these for that purpose.
