Cons: Flimsy HD trays
Pros: Sturdy, lots of room Comment:
This is a great case, very robust. Huge fan on the side gives great cooling. The HD trays are very flimsy, kind of disappointing considering the cost Also, Corsair cheaped out a bit and should have included a least one top fan, maybe a 200mm? |

Cons: - Only 2 USB ports on front panel, though they are USB3.- Can't do push & pull combo (w/ 4 fans) on top of case with H110 without modding. Motherboard is too high to make room for the fans inside the case.
Pros: - 200mm fan on side (quiet)- 3x120mm fans (2 in front, 1 in the back).- Push click top grill. - 2x120mm or 2x140mm can fit on top (outside) of the case, but under the grill. Very nice.- Liquid cooling ready.- Fits H110 liquid cooling w/ 2 fans under grill on top of case and radiator inside the case under the fans. Simple install.- Room in the back for cables.- Lots of drive bays.- Lots of room!- Large expansion/video cards have no problem in this case.- Quiet- Tons of air flow. Comment:
Bought this so that I'd have something quiet, supports the H110 water cooler (20mm separation for 140mm fans) and lots of drive bays. This case came through in spades. Very quiet. Tons of space to hide your cables. Lots of room inside. |

Pros: QuietCoolDid I mention quiet? Comment:
This case is replacing an Antec Sonata III. It is much quieter, even with the fans set to high, and keeps my parts between 5-10 degrees cooler. Absolutely incredible. The tool-less drives are easy to use and fairly sturdy. USB 3.0 from the front panel to the mobo is a great feature. |

I got this last christmas along with an Intel i3 bundle, and it served me well.In fact, the case has so much space to move air around that I will use it for my new crossfire build. |

Good case overall if you are looking for a pile of airflow. just make sure that you clean your case often. |

Cons: none
Pros: Lot of space Comment:
Very good case; it offers a lot of space and has enough room at the top to fit a Corsair H100. There is also a couple of holes inside this case to hide all the cables behind the side panel. |

Cons: fans are a little cheap
Pros: great design, great cooling Comment:
This is my first build and every thing went in easy. Lots of room for cabling. My only complaint is the instruction manual is poor, had to figure out some stuff but maybe that was because I am not to familiar with doing builds yet. I would buy this case again. |

Great minimalist case, built well, and has plenty of cable routing options for a tidy build. Airflow is also not restricted. |

Cons: Cheap fansToolless (see summary)Fan control proprietary
Pros: Cable managementBig CPU cutoutGood lookingEasy to work inToollessLots of fan options Comment:
I really like this case over all. I've modded it a bit so that I have an earlier version of the Swiftech MCR-x20 mounted on the top. Looks sweet. The three led fans that come with it are really cheap (hence the deduction) when I pulled them the blades would actually wobble they're so cheap. Better to replace them, but then you can't use the fan controller. Over all like the toolless design, but the side panel thumb screws can be a pain to get started. |

Cons: None for now
Pros: Great airflow, room for lots of fans. Works well with the Corsair H100 water cooler. Comment:
This is a great case that has lots of room and good airflow. It also has room for the radiator for the H100 water cooler. It has USB 3.0 and a fan controller. This is a refined case and I will buy it again for my next build. |

Cons: Item is large so ensure you have room at your workstation
Pros: Well designed case, quiet with lots of room. USB 3.0 on front panel as well as back make this awesome Comment:
Purchased this item with ASUS P8P67 Pro Rev3.1 ATX motherboard, ASUS GeForce GTX560 TI 448 Core video card, i7 2600K processor, a bluray writer, a bluray/dvd/cd reader, solid state drive, SATA3 hard drive, 16 GB RAM, and Corsair VX550W ATX power supply. Assembled by NCIX, the cables are neatly stored and there is lots of open space for air movement. Nothing is getting too warm. Even though it sits on my desk right next to my ear, there is no complaint for noise from the multitude of fans that came with the item. I paid $109 for it and am very glad I did. Don't skimp on the case for your new machine and you won't be disappointed! |

Cons: Plastic drive coasterBig openings in bottom of the case
Pros: Nice, well built, plenty of room Comment:
Nice computer case. Plenty of roomThe side panel fan was not starting at low setting, NCIX support promtply sent a replacement unit ;o)It was collecting dust inside even after I cover the side panel with a filter, until I notice two 1in2 openings on the bottom in front of the disk drive cage!!! I put Duck tape to plug them.Plastic drive coaster are not very sturdy, kinda float with a SSD |

Pros: It's about as perfect as it getsTool lessSo much space for wires behind the mobo - makes it easy to hideLove the position of the drive bays and again no screws needed Comment:
This is my second 500R. I have a white and this is my black one. Honestly for the price, especially when on sale, it cannot be beat. I can build using this case in no time flat. So well thought out and it's quiet and my system runs cool.Intel i7 870 oc'ed to 4Ghz16 GB DDR RAMGigabyte GTX 460 |

Cons: -Hard drive trays are made out of plastic that may become fragile with age.-Front 120mm fans and side 200mm fans use a special wiring that allows you to turn on and off the lighting from the front panel, may be difficult to source replacements.-No 3.5 Expansion bays for Card readers or other 3.5 accessory's.-Front fan speed switch does not hookup to any of the non lightup fans.-No system speaker for beep error codes.-Documentation that comes with the case seems incomplete.-Black finish is a finger print magnet.
Pros: -Great cooling, the case has 10 fan mounts.-The case comes with 3 120mm and 1 200mm fans.-Support for 140MM fans.-The rubber grommets are nice an sturdy, they do not come off easily.-Excellent cable management for better airflow.-Dust guards on all intake fan placements.-USB 3 ports on the front panel-A adaptor to change the front panel USB from USB3 to the USB2 connector.-3 position switch for fan speeds for the front 120mm fans and side 200mm fans.-The Hardrive trays while being made out of plastic have rubber noise insulators for 3.5mm drives.-Thumb screws for all the expansion card slots.-Full support for Liquid Cooling.-Lots of room, no issues with long expansion cards.-Thumb Screws for side panels stay on the side panels. Comment:
This case is very similar to the Corsair Carbide Series 400R, with a few additional features. The top grill of the case unsnaps for easy installation of a Corsair Liquid cooling system or 140mm fans. The system comes with 3 120mm fans and 1 200m fan for the side. The front of the case has a additional fan speed selector that has 3 settings. As well as a few small styling changes. The Corsair Carbide Series 500R has great cooling and excellent cable management. While not being a fancy case it is a solid case. It does not have a window in the side which I see as a definite plus. Over all I think its great case at a decent price point. I would have no problems recommending this to anyone that wanted a cool running system that is not a eye catcher or eyesore. |

Cons: Lousy instructions, no manual.
Pros: Awesome case, easy to work with, tons of rooms, a great product. Comment:
Great case. Good thing I watched a few videos prior to purchase as there is no manual and poor installation instructions. Was supposed to get this for $104 but price match was not honoured and lousy customer service. Can't dis the case because rude customer service. |

Cons: -No manual to explain minor thing link how to open the top pannel (it's a push-click to unlock, somoene could easily break it while pushing from the inside)-3/4 fan seem cheap
Pros: Interior is awesome. Lot of room, everything is easy to discover Comment:
-No manual to explain minor thing link how to open the top pannel (it's a push-click to unlock, somoene could easily break it while pushing from the inside)-The front fan doesn't move alot of air (feel alot less air than my noctua low-speed at 500rpm. It's also make a small clicking noise if you listen very close to them. Nothing wrong but it make me wonder about long-term noise.-The side panel fan, while huge, doesn't seem to move alot of air. Looking the fan top-down we also see that the fan axle isn't perfect, therefore turning the fan in a non-silent one.The rear fan (the only one without led) seem better for the long-run.I would say it's a very nice case for the price, I'm just a little bit disapointed by the quality of the fan (I'm used to Noctua one and used to have a very silent setup). I'm sure it's not a problem for 90% of the people here.Bang for the buck it's rock. |

Great case to build your gaming rig into. Very nice look and build quality with 2x120mm fan space in the top(fits h100i perfectly) 2x120mm fans installed in the front, 1x120mm fan in the back and 1x240mm fan on side panel. Great case all around. No problems with it, just don't like the white power and HDD lights.
