Cons: Not much space behind the motherboard tray so you have to carefully plan how you pass your wires.

Pros: Great airflow, nice design, standoffs already in place for ATX
Comment:
I only recently got this case but am already in love with it. As a new build I wanted to change the case, and this was the right choice. Lots of space to work with (except behind the motherboard tray), SSD mounts in the back, but the HDD tray seemd a bit flimsy. I would not have chosen another case. The motherboard screws were missing though, which is why I'm giving this case a 4 star rating.

Cons: .HDD cage feels looks and feels very flimsy. No where near enough room behind the motherboard tray for wiring.Clips holding front panel on are very flimsy

Pros: .Lots of room to work with in front of the case .Clean design .Magnetic dust filters included for top and bottom.Plenty of radiator and fan mounting points
Comment:
So to start out i was incredibly excited to get this case but upon arrival several issues cropped up inspecting the case straight out of the box:. One of the clips holding the front panel on was broken, there was tape on the front of the case holding it on but now only one side stays on ruining the clean lines of the case. The HDD cage was bent by about 10-15 degrees making it hard to fit drives in properly without some bending of the cage myselfInstalling my components was done with great ease, there is plenty of room to work in which is a great bonus if you have many fans. However a major issue cropped up again in the form of cable management, the usual trick of cable tieing it neatly together behind the motherboard tray does not work for this case. If you have any normal amount of cables you will have to plan your routes very precisely as any small buldge will make getting the backside planel on a challenge.Overall this case is a nice case but for me this case doesn't meet the expectations i have of corsair cases, If i where given the choice i would choose another case within this price range. The issues i have experienced may have been down to a single poor product but i feel many people echo the issues i have found.

Cons: A couple small things... see Summary for full details.

Pros: Design is simple yet aesthetically pleasing. Some really nice features are included to make this a very versatile case.
Comment:
Don't get me wrong, I think the 450D is still one of the better cases on the market. It's a showcase of straight forward thinking meaning that without making something too extravagant or over engineered, this case brings some great features to the table. But I will concur with some of the other reviews. One of the first things that stands out is the metal feels somewhat thin and without the structural bends in the side panels for instance, they would be very flimsy. As for the actual cons, there are a couple of small things that are wrong and could be improved upon. The press-lock clips that hold the front screen/filter on are awfully flimsy. I have seen reviews of other Corsair cases that use these clips where the reviewer has received a case with one broken clip. If one side is broken, or in my case, doesn't hold tight, it throws off the lines and the clean look of the front of the case. And these clips don't appear to be user replaceable, so if one breaks (it's plastic and has moving parts... need I say more?), that's it. Personally, I think Corsair should take a look into making that whole front dust filter magnetic as well. The other con is if you use a ODD drive, having to remove one of the 5 1/4" bay covers throws off the clean look of the front of the case because the drive does not sit flush with the front panels. You'll have to try it to see what I mean, and I fully understand this may not be a negative to everyone. The last issue, though not really a con, more of a peeve... why must everything be made of plastic and then "embellished" with brushed aluminum or whatever metal facade to make it look good? Why not make the thing with brushed aluminum in the first place? Seems to me that for the price you pay for this case, it just feels a bit cheap to be working with plastic when you expected metal.Other than that, it's a very well designed case. I like some of the nifty features like the dedicated SSD slots hidden away behind the motherboard and the moveable drive cage. It's also got enough room for even the longest of GPUs. And then there's all the possible fan mounting locations to provide the airflow to cool said GPUs. All in all this case will do me well until something better comes along. It's hard to give this case just 3 stars, but I also don't think it deserves 4. It's more of a 3.5 star case.

Cons: Steel sheet metal gauge is way too thin and flimsy. Feels cheap. Not enough cable routing space behind motherboard. This space is not large enough to store unused power supply connectors. Cabling must be painfully, slowly thought outBoth side panels are flimsy (did I mention the paper thin sheet metal) and rear panel may require two people to install if pressing against cables and bulging outTool-less fasteners on 5 1/4" drives don't workThe catch for the front dust filter are too flimsy and easy to break. Both top and bottom fastener parts are easy to bend or snap off.

Pros: Clean, attractive appearanceMassive airflow for a midsize case suitable for max coolingSome tool-less fasteners work great, others not so muchNarrow case may fit where other cases don'tVery flexible for water coolingInstalls up to 8 case fans (Corsair says 7 but they're wrong)Magnetic dust filters at top and bottom work wellClever dual SSD mount behind moboSide window if that matters
Comment:
Love, hate this case. Good, but not great, case that has issues you should know about before you buy. I bought this case because I wanted a huge airflow gaming case that would fit into an existing computer desk with CPU cubbyhole. This one barely works because the narrowness of the case makes cabling behind mobo very difficult. I used modular power supply and wanted to put unused power supply connectors behind mobo but there's no space back there. The case has several nice innovations and is very flexible for cooling but for me the way-too-thin sheet metal and inadequate cabling space would have stopped me from buying the case if I'd known beforehand. Cons: - Case arrived slightly damaged from shipping; back legs to stand on were broken and the HDD cage was bent quite a bit. Still usable after attempting to straighten though.

Pros: - Case looks very sleek and nice- Decent space for wiring- Quite quiet
Comment:
Other than the packaging, the case has been very good and I am completely satisfied. It would have been nice for it not to be damaged, but still. Would definitely purchase from Corsair again.
