Cons: - Aesthetically not as "pleasing" as other styles of Corsair RAM

Pros: - Good speed/timings- Easier to work with "smaller" PC builds / large CPU coolers
Comment:
I've purchased many types of Corsair RAM in the past and all are outstanding, but I am very happy with the Low Profile (LP) set. The reason being is because I find it more compatible with "smaller" builds (Micro-ATX / Mini-ITX). Some people might argue that other Corsair-series RAM performs better ... but I honestly think it's just aesthetics.I find the heat-sinks on other Corsair-branded RAM to be unnecessarily large and can take up a large amount of vertical space, which can interfere with your CPU cooler sometimes, depending on how large it is. I've since switched to LP RAM and I never have to worry about it interfering with my CPU cooler (or other parts).

Pros: low profileelegant

Had the ram for 1 week. No problem so far. Ram heatsink is really not necessary unless you are overclocking everything you see. These rams do their job without taking up space on your motherboard. They won't cause problems with after market cpu heatsink space.

Cons: None

Pros: - Fast- Inexpensive- No troubles with CPU heatsink
Comment:
Had to go with some low profile RAM to ensure it would fit under my heat sink. I am glad I did because even with these there was only about half a cm of room between the RAM and heat sink. Good choice if yo want to play it safe and not worry about modifying your heat sink.

I love this RAM. It's running at 1,615Mhz on an ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 with an Intel 2600K cpu running at 4.4GHz. amazingly fast ram.

Cons: Not really a negative - but these sticks are not meant for extreme over-clocking

Pros: d$42 - Decent Construction - works great with large air cooling solutions (Corsair A70)
Comment:
Meant for average user rig - not intended for enthusiastsRated Highly just for the compatibility with my A70Will have to see how they hold-up over time.

Pros: Fast, Low Profile, Looks good

Purchased a pair as part of a cheap bulldozer build. Cheap motherboard only had 2 slots for memory so I populated them with these. Worked fine at advertised speeds but was also stable o'clocked. Works well (if not better) than my g.skills on another machine. I was actually going to get another set of g.skills but these were on sale at $41 and some change at Ncix. Corsairs are normally my first choice for memory (and power supplies).

Pros: -Low voltage-Headroom for tightening timings-Low profile for large CPU coolers

Depending on your UEFI/BIOS, it may be necessary to adjust the DRAM V. down manually to 1.35v's, but that is a simple manuever. This product is GrizzlyPC.com approved

Cons: Weak overclocking

Pros: Good price, low profile
Comment:
The v2.12 sticks currently being shipped generally don't overclock as well as the v5.x sticks previously available. I did manage to get them up to a stable 1866 n 10-10-10-2T , which is a half-decent boost.

Cons: Heat sinks fell off after the first day. Poor quality of heat sink adhesive.

Pros: Looks Good, Low Profile fits under my Noctua NH-U12P SE2. Runs stable.
Comment:
I want to say I love Corsair Products, most of my rig is built from parts made by them. However this RAM....Looking through my window in my Corsair 600T SE case, I could see that it looked like one stick of ram was starting to fall out of the Mobo. I open the case, and very gently touched the Ram (this was difficult because it was the stick closest to the CPU and the Noctua heat sink is directly beside it) and the heat sink just fell off! The computer had about 3 hours of running time. Looking at the adhesive... its like a clear gooey stuff attached to a plastic strip which is attached to the heat sink. There is very little of any adhesive holding it on. Ok, so to try to re-stick the heat sink on, i had to remove the other stick of ram, and as I grabed it, I could feel the heat sink sliding off the memory modules! ( it was very difficult to grab the ram by the PCB to prevent this). After finishing this, and reinstalling the RAM, I hear a clunk in my Rig, and found that the first heat sink had fallen off. Suffice it to say I got the memory to "stay" in place, but I doubt the effectiveness of the capacity of the heat sinks on this memory.Im not going to bother RMA'ing this RAM, it works, and heat sinks are mostly decorative anyway (which is one of the reasons I bought it). Just really disappointed in the quality, its really unusual for Corsair.

Cons: Requires MB overclock settings to reach 'stock' speed

Pros: Performs up to specifications
Comment:
I'm taking one star off here since this memory is really 1333MHz memory that has been tested to work overclocked at 1600MHz, and had a profile made for it. As such, when you install this memory it will initially show up as 1333MHz, and then you go into your BIOS and select  XMP in your advanced options to enable the full speed of the module. Personally I'm not really keen on this since I feel that the memory should be advertised as 1333MHz and tested at 1600MHz. It's a minor thing, and it doesn't affect performance. I'm sure there is a reasonable reason why they had to do it this way, but it should be noted on the package. The only other issue I had was a bad module in my first package of memory, but after getting a new pair of sticks from my local NCIX store in exchange, everything works fine. (The bad stick wouldn't work at all.) I don't hold a defective against them though, there are bound to be the occassional bad sticks that slip through. In any case, I just wanted some decent memory that didn't have a huge heat spreader on it since I am height restricted on my CPU cooler. These sticks do the job well, and since I have a side fan I don't worry about heat buildup. Just be sure if you run a hot case that you make sure to keep the area around these modules clear so they can get airflow.

Cons: Only 8gbTiming?

Pros: Great price Great sizeCan upgrade to 12gb or 16gb later with additional modules
Comment:
The size and value of these is absolutely amazing. The heat shroud is only SLIGHTLY larger than the actual memory, and will definately fit under any sort of huge air heatsink you might have for your CPUYet they still stay really cool to the touch. If you have stock memory, wait for the sales, and get these!Great upgrade from anything stock, old, you might have.

Cons: x I ran into multiple defects in a small sample. Have only tested against one motherboard, but out of four kits purchased from another vendor, TWO had a single bad dimm (problem was not due to running multiple kits -- they failed as single dimms, in any slot, at 1066MHz and looser timings than stock). All dimms tested where from a very short range of S/N.

Pros: * Low voltage: I haven't seen the retail 1.35V arctic white version for sale yet, but the regular black ones are running 1.34V for 4x4GB (16GB) dimms n 1600MHz with rated timings. I tested several kits and they all ran at 1.34V.* Low profile: Fits easily under my Scythe Big Shuriken.
Comment:
Overall, I am very happy to have found low-profile memory that runs at such a low voltage in my Core i5 system. This helped me further lower the core voltage for my i5 as well, which was helpful in my less-than-great airflow Lian Li PC-C37 case. For my system, there is marginal benefit for using 1600MHz memory, but the overall lower voltage requirements to run my system have made a significant difference. While I would have liked to buy my kits from NCIX (as a 16GB set), and it would definitely have saved me money, I was glad to have bought them locally due to requiring multiple trips to exchange bad dimms. I had to spend a lot of extra time testing my memory and proving to myself that what I have is stable, when a quarter of the dimms tested had failed. Test System:- Core i5 650 with Scythe Big Shuriken HSF- Gigabyte GA-H57M-USB3 mATX motherboard- 4 x 4GB Corsair Vengeance Low-profile (Black) running at 1.34V- Enermax MODU87+ 700W PSU
