Really rapidly memory, in all probability finest in its class. A single of the two modules did not work. Stayed with Corsair and reordered an additional set.

Quite hot ram 2nd set of corsairs wouldn't use anything else.Had a small trouble going from 1800 to 2000 but with a tweak in the bios of my asus rampage intense, ram proved to be a screamer all is chilled by a Koolance method at 84 degree's Will need to be savvy to use this ram

I appreciate the appear of it.. The speed. Heat spread might be tall for a substantial CPU right after market fan Got this for a P67 create.. Sandy bridge recomends 1.5v for mem. I have been pushing 1.6v+ for months.. However, if I study the spec on on a P67 build I would have got a 1.5v kit as an alternative..

*DOES IN Truth RUN AT 2000 MHz. Even though this will demand some voltage tweaking (You WILL need to improve the CPU NB voltage. I increased mine to 1.2v to get it to run at 2000 MHz)*Once running at 2000 MHz, improved efficiency all about. Kinda just about magical, seriously.*Great seeking heatsink design. *Not compatible with ASUS Crosshair IV Extreme (Although this is technically only tested to be compatible with Intel processors, anyways)*Horrible forum assistance (This is what truly created me make a decision to return this ram right after a handful of weeks, rather of acquiring a way to make this perform or maintaining it for an additional personal computer build) Soon after a total 3 days of tweaking, I did get this to run on my ASUS Crosshair IV Extreme Motherboard (w/ 1090T processor), but the farthest I could get it to run in Prime w/o errors was only about 3 hours. Even then, as soon as I got a blue screen, I'd have to put the motherboard in "Memory OK!" compatibility mode by opening the pc again and press and holding a button on the motherboard, just in order to get the laptop or computer to boot up with this ram, and then I'd have to go into bios and select settings to run this ram at 2000 mhz all more than once more. The pc seemed to be unable to boot up with ram otherwise. If I had a motherboard on the QVL, I'd take into account purchasing this ram again, but I Truly, Genuinely, did not like the assistance forum. They have rules that you cannot even mention competitor's goods on their forums. My felling is if a company genuinely does make the ideal products on the industry, why would they be concerned about their clients mentioning competitor's merchandise? Sad.

Good set of Ram. Possessing the sticks each at 4gb leaves some space for expansion in the future. These run flawless. My X6 processor will only run at speeds reduce than 2000. I could have bought the 1600 set and saved some cash. O well, my fault not theirs. Oh, the additional fan....it doesnt fit on the ASUS boards, so pretty significantly worthless. My rig has a lot of airflow and doesn't require it. Been using Corsair for 10 years and only have had two undesirable sticks. A brand you can trust

Rapid! High functionality! Looks! This RAM has it all. It also overclocks particularly effectively most of the time.Reliability is good and Corsair's tech-assistance is second-to-none.Does DDR3-PC16000 񢉐Mhz) with no any problems on most Intel i7 systems (with appropriate overclock) and defaults to 1866Mhz on Core i7 Sandy Bridge systems. Some folks have had good results in actually overclocking these modules to 2133Mhz speeds with minor relaxed timings and correct voltage. The price is nonetheless ridiculously high for this kit as comparible DDR3-2133Mhz RAM is available from other memory corporations for equal or often even less than the value these will run you.Oh well, you get what you pay for and Corsair is 1 of the greatest memory corporations out there. Also (on a side-note), this may well not run at 2000Mhz speeds on AMD boards unless you overclock appropriately.Utilizing this on an Intel P67 chipset based board scales down clock speed frequency to 1866 (still BLAZING rapid) due to the fact there is no 2000Mhz RAM divider on above named chipset boards. I've heard about this kit reaching the 2133Mhz speed but not without outstanding cooling, appropriate BIOS settings, and/or how nicely your CPU's memory controller is at scaling to larger overclocking speeds.

The ram posted suitable out the gate. My new build booted up with no complications from the ram. Ultimately got the ram to OC at 2000 immediately after playing with it for forever. Now that I have the ram oc'd to 2000 I cant maintain my cpu at 4. with any stability. The best I get is 3.76. I guess thats not the rams fault. I will figure it out. this was my initially create and my 1st knowledge with overclocking. Overclocking is extremely frustrating, but addictive.my build:AMD phenom II x 6 1100TAsus crosshair iv extremeCorsair Dominator 2x4g ddr3Radeon 6970ocz vertex two 180gb ssdsamsung F3 1TB hhdThermaltake bigwater 760i xion axp 1000 watt power supply
