All three DD3 memory modules can run at 1066 speed, but only 2 can run at 1600 speed. It is a frustration to return all 3 memory modules, rather of returning a terrible DDR3 module for replacement. Simply because one out of 3 is negative, as a result the rating is two thirds of 5.

After making adjustments to my BIOS, my Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R motherboard had no dilemma recognizing the memory. Employing the motherboard's EasyTune6 to bump it up to 1800. So far it's been stable. No complaints. Price tag point was affordable. On the EVGA FTW3 they had been capable to deal with way above rated specs, got a windows encounter index rating of 7.8 out of 7.9 even though running these at 2Ɍ with a 200Mhz QPI and 7-8-7-20 timing. Not too shabby thinking about I'm confident I could take them further they get a little warmer than most ram I've used in the previous, to be expected with such speed. often verify for compatabilitiy

Had initially bought OCZ3G1600LV6GK. It's rated at 1600 MHz. Following precisely setting the expected timings, frequencies, and voltages, and days of Memtest86+ and Prime95 testing, a higher frequency of BSODs eventually led to comprehensive corruption of Win7; I bought the CMX6G3M3C1600C7. Best purchase but, all I had to do was go into the BIOS for my X58A-UD3R, choose Optimized Defaults, then allow "Profile1" for X.M.P. and it operates perfectly at the prescribed speed of 1600 MHz, 7-8-7-20. Ideal. None. This buy again proved to me that Newegg is much more than an on the net merchant. The evaluations are definitely an invaluable source of facts when speculating which component to buy. Generally what I do is research, find a likely candidate for a element, then go appear up the exact same model on Newegg, and the user critiques mirror what is stated in other sectors of the Internet. The OCZ3G1600LV6GK ran at 1600MHz at its prescribed timings of eight-eight-eight-24 only on a warm boot. On a cold boot, a various BSOD code would seem every time.I've by no means had a challenge with Corsair, and I don't know what I was considering in venturing out to OCZ. Corsair all the way.

Low profile, corsair reputation, nice speed. Would not run as stated (at least with my Gigabyte MB) straight out of the box. Oddly, I couldn't set the parameters to what they should be and had to do it in a couple measures. This threw me off a bit and only stumbled upon this by accident. Figured I had a terrible set but they tested fine. When I got them up to advertised speed I had no issues but decided to return them - felt a little misled and was not confident how effectively they would do over time.

Performs properly at C8 on this board to at least to DDR 1750 (real planet, Memtest, Prime 95). I did not even bother running it at rated timings or pushing it larger mainly because articles have shown the difference in the actual planet is ə%. Soon after my three yo dual core died abruptly, I am far more interested in stability and my information than bragging rights. One current reviewer complained 12 gigs runs only at C8 on this board. Honestly that is sweeter than ASUS claims on 99.9% of memory on their outdated memory listings. Their authorized memory listing is so outdated and conservative that it is useless. It is nice to know this runs well on this well-known ASUS board. None

Once I got a great set these sticks are leading of the line. The crucial word being "once". I am at present working with them properly above spec with wonderful stability. I seriously like the low-profile. One set Ɠx2GB) of my original 2xƓx2GB) group would not operate at spec timing 7-eight-7-20 timing. It took me a small even though to be confident that I had a sub-par stick in one particular of the sets. As soon as I isolated the dilemma, Newegg replaced it speedily with no hassle. [I am more than the top rated with ESD Manage, so that wasn't a challenge] Reading the critiques right here on Newegg, it seems like Corsair possibly shipping some sub-par memory. I might have given this item a reduce rating, but the memory I have now is great. Offered the price tag I paid Newegg incorporate return of the defective portion, I would purchase Corsair once more. I would have gotten seriously grumpy if I had to do it twice.

Exceptional timings, affordable cost, really stable. I ran MemTest v4. for 11 hours ྪ) complete passes with no errors. I then ran Prime95 torture test for 2 hours. My cpu temp stablized at 62c from an idle of 41c with no challenges. I have my program OC at 3.66ghz, timings at 7-eight-7-20, CR-1, 1.65v, DDR1600. I then played COD MW2 and Rainbow 6 Las Vegas2 for 2 hours, and once more completely no issues. The memory is incredibly steady. Based on articles in Tom's Hardware and Anandtech, I specifaclly purchased DDR1600 memory because they felt there was no require for quicker memory. From what I have knowledgeable so far, I do not see the need for the added expense of Dominator C7. Not actually cons just observations. I had to manually set the timing due to the fact XMP read the memory at eight-7-eight-20. What I had to pay further because of the gnerall raise in RAM pricing due to the fact October, and had I purchased Corsair in the first spot, I could have bought Dominator C7 for the same amount of funds. I purchased this memory especially for the timings, value and since of Corsair's reputation. I had initially bought brand "O_Z" when I constructed this program in an attempt to control charges. I had a lot of difficulties with freezing and becoming unable to post. Following trouble shooting, I was able to decide it was the memory. Not wanting to have my method down for a month even though waiting for the RMA replacements, I purchased this memory. I highly suggest Corsair, and this model memory for any i7 technique. My system;Intel i7 920 Bloomfield OC three.66ghzASRock X58 Extrem MBCosair 6gb CMX6GX3Mc1600C7 memoryCooler Master V8 cpu coolertwo-Western Digital Black 750GB hd RAID 2-Sapphire 5870 video cards crossfireLG GBC-H20L internal blu ray playerCorsair HX-1000 1000w psCooler Master Storm Sniper Black caseRosewill 74-1 internal card reader w/floppy driveWindows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Runs at rated speed and timings, although you'll have to set them manually on most boards. No major deal for me, but it appears some people are obtaining difficulty with that. I dont feel it's on the QVL for my EVGA e758, but similar Corsair RAM is, and I've had definitely no problems with the settings or obtaining it to recognize all 3 DIMMs. I've had it for about 4 weeks and neither Memtest86+, Prime95, nor actual usage have exposed any flaws. None to report. Nonetheless waiting on that rebate, even though... I haven't bothered to overclock it; the real planet efficiency gains are minimal and it's much easier to kill your RAM than anything else you attempt to overclock. If you want to, knock your self out, but I'm happy setting it on what it's rated for and forgetting about it.

This 6GB DDR3 Tri-Channel kit from Corsair works just as described, which is quite amazing thinking about. All I did was pop the sticks into the right slots on my ASUS P6T Deluxe v2, set X.M.P. and all was very good. It indeed does run completely at 7Ǟǝተ timings, 1600MHz.I am very satisfied with the kit, in particular contemplating that there are Dominator kits out there with looser timings by default. I'm sure these "extreme" kits most likely overclock greater and and so on. but I'm glad I purchased these. None that i can actually consider of. There was no documentation, i.e. a manual or insert, that came with the RAM, but anything you want to know ought to currently be in the manual for your motherboard - I guess this could actually be a pro for cutting down on waste. This unique SKU was NOT on the ASUS QVL list in the manual that came with the P6T Deluxe v2, but given that it appears like an updated/newer package I'm not actually as well surprised. In any case, I decided to test the RAM after setting the X.M.P. profile just in case. I ran Memtest86+ overnight for about 7.five hours - six full passes and not a single error. So for these of you who are on the fence and assume there's a catch for CL7 timings and 1600MHz, I don't feel you have anything to worry about.

I got this ram running at Computer-1600.C7 for the exact same price tag of most C8/C9 kits. None. Still not acquiring the 7-eight-7-20 speeds. I need to have to brush up on Ocing my ram. I'm sure I'll get it up to spec. The ram's colors match perfectly with my Asus premium-e X58 mobo and corsair 850w modular PSU. Honestly most ram's price/performance/reliability is the exact same between Corsair, Mushkin, and Gskill it just comes down to the appears I feel for the most part, lol.

Running these sticks on a p6x58d and they default to 1066. Had to manually adjust to 1600. The board is a bit more tricky to get stable OC on the memory. I have noticed that several sights are saying to underclock the mem to get four+ ghz none, would have liked to get full set of 12 even though I have only had 1 bad stick of corsair in about 20....and I bet it was my fault for running two diverse size sticks on the very same rig. Of course Corsair replace the matched pair promptly, and thats why I nonetheless acquire from them!

I've had two kits now and zero errors. Regardless of my very first set possessing the xmp profile wrong they operate flawlessly at advertised timings. I'm confident 7-7-7 would be very simple to achieve. I haven't pushed them over the 1600mhz mark but I wouldn't be surprised if these could go up to 1800 with 8 timings. The xmp profile on my initially set was 8-7-8 as an alternative of 7-8-7 but settings the timings manually in the BIOS takes care of that situation very very easily. Also I figured out how to make all six use the identical xmp. I picked up another set and the timings were correct on this set. I place it together swiftly by placing the new modules in the main slots on my x58 board the xmp profile applies the 7-8-7 timings to all six sticks :) so if everyone else has a set with the wrong xmp profile and you decided to get an additional a single, that is a speedy answer. I don't run xmp considering that I OC'd but it was excellent to know.

Runs quick with good timings.Low profile heatsinks.Looks quite nice.Less expensive than the Dominator modules. None I thought long and challenging on what ram to acquire for my P6X58D and this stuff looks and operates great. You just have to set the timings manually in bios but that's easy. This ram has a low profile heatsink so you won't have to worry about clearance problems with your CPU cooler. I'm running this on a P6X58D/I7-930ʃ.8ghz practically 24ǝ with no troubles whatsoever. I will be buying yet another 6gb soon.
