Applied two 1 GB sticks of these to upgrade an old Dell Latitude D820 to two GB total. Then I installed Windows 7. The combination of more memory and Windows 7 gave the old laptop new life. None NewEgg's low cost shipping system working with the DHL/USPS combo is slower that molassas running uphill in winter. Spend the additional for UPS delivery unless you want to wait a week for your stuff. |

Took less than a minute to flip over my Dell Inspiron E1505 and set up. Functions excellent. A handful of dollars more affordable than purchasing it straight from Crucual's web page. none I want the part numbers matched the part numbers given when doing a 'Crucial System Scan'. The memory was a few dollars less costly on newegg, but I had to meticulously verify the specs with the internet websites open side-by-side. I appreciate that this is a Essential situation and not a newegg 1. |

I installed two sticks in my brother's Dell Inspiron E1505 a week and a half ago. I was a tiny concerned given that it is faster than the max speced by Dell, but it has been running excellent so far. Installed each sticks and booted proper up, recognizing each sticks at full speed. None so far These replaced 2x512mb 533mHz sticks. Thanks Newegg for recommending the higher speed memory! The laptop runs substantially smoother, and can play games on considerably larger settings. |

Installed in my Dell Inspiron E1525 Laptop with 1.86ghz Celeron and it made a large difference! Originally had only 512mb ram running Windows Vista Residence Fundamental and it was as slow as paint drying. Now, surfing the online with a number of tabs and music and everything run substantially smoother. I thought that the laptop may well not operate with both sticks installed (even even though they are the similar speed but distinct manufacturers), but it recognized the new stick so I now have 1.5gb memory running in dual channel mode and it brought my Vista rating up from two.9 to three.1! The new memory even up'd my graphics overall performance by .1! None at all!!! This laptop is the first and only machine I have had with Vista. It is incredible how substantially memory it sucks up. Although I had 512mb with 2gb virtual, it showed I was making use of virtually 400mb even though idle. Soon after the memory upgrade, it shows about 620mb at idle.
