Cons: None

Pros: -7Ports-External Power
Comment:
Got these from DELL and they're fantastic! Planning to buy another one from NCIX as it has such high performance. I have 4 external hard drives plugged in and never had any slow downs. All 7 ports are being used and no problems at all!

Cons: Too many green LEDs that are always lit.

Pros: Well designed with thoughtful layout.
Comment:
I got this 7-port powered USB hub for the low low price of a 4-port unpowered USB hub, so I'm very happy about that. Unlike some hubs, everything is intelligently laid out. Seven ports in the front, none of which should get in the way of those to either side, with power and the PC port in the back.Got mine to use in the room next to where my PC is located. Thus I have my hub connected to a very long Startech USB 2.0 extension cord (one of those active ones with circuitry) as well as a regular Belkin extension cable because it didn't quite reach my PC. Everything I've tried with this hub works perfectly despite the overall distance of the USB extension cables used. Its nice to be able to relax in my recliner and still use things, like my Wacom tablet. I'd use wireless (and do for my keyboard/mouse), but living in an apartment means lots of interference. The only strange thing I have to report is those seven green LED's, which all remain lit even if nothing is connected to the port they indicate for. I have too many LED's in my room as it is and don't need more, especially when they serve no purpose. They eighth LED, which indicates a powered on state, I can sort of understand. Sheesh! ;)

Cons: none

Pros: Really is plug & play
Comment:
Powered 7 port USB2 is easy to setup and recognized by my PC with W7. I liked it so much that I bought a second one. I though I would have a problem but I had to try. Hooked it up and no conflicts with all 14 usb devices plugged in. Plus 3 in the back of my pc. Great product. Hope they make one for USB3 and place 2 or 3 ports on the other side for convenience.

Cons: power plug randomly cuts the hub on/off

Pros: d-link is a brand people trust, but not I
Comment:
This works if you get a good unit, but mine I might add the power adapter is clean, correctly pinned, and totally good looking. However it does randomly drop  in and out, and touching the power plug at the unit input really sets it on a lose thread. I'll need a new plug from the Source Circuit City!

Cons: -None observed so far

Pros: -Inexpensive way to have 7 USB ports on your desktop.-Good build quality-Comes with 6 foot USB cable to connect hub to your computer.-Powered hub, good for charging devices such as cell phone or music player while PC is off.
Comment:
-I purchased this so that I would be able to plug in portable USB devices on my desktop instead of having them sticking out the front of my case at knee level. It serves this purpose great, as well as ensuring that I will always have a spare USB port.

Cons: All the LEDs are constantly on even when nothing is connected.

Pros: Lots of ports available to connect all your US devices.
Comment:
This provides 3 more ports than the average USB hub in a small size. It uses a USB A-B cable to connect to the computer and has a block adapter to provide it with ~3.5A. In my case the hub still worked without the adapter but it's only because I had a couple of low powered devices connected. I though that the LEDs on the front would only light up when something is connected to show you if there is a problem but I was mistaken. They all light up once it's powered on, other than that it's great.

Cons: Cabling with all ports on the front.

Pros: Lots of ports in a small package.powered
Comment:
It's a nice little powered usb hub. Cabling it can be a little tricky since all the ports are on the front and it requires bending any cables around the unit if you are dropping them behind a desk.

Cons: Price is a bit high

Pros: 7 Powered PortsSmall Formfactor (size)
Comment:
Not many powered USB hubs out there with this many ports at this price, i.e. 7 ports and a price match to $27. It's small and while not sleek it's not unattractive before 7 USB devices get plugged into it.The only 'would be nices' are a lower price, and maybe a Y connector to hook this up to more than one USB port on a computer, that being said you shouldn't be hooking up 3 or more external USB hard drives to this thing for simultaneous use and expect blazing speeds (not that you would from USB to begin with) =).

Cons: Nothing that really matters except that I find the lights a little annoying.Did not come with that little mounting kit.

Pros: Overall, the build quality seems pretty nice. No problem with powering all 7 devices
Comment:
So without the mounting kit, I picked up a bit of hook-n-loop fabric and made myself a mount. Would recommend on the premise that it can house 7 devices.

Cons: would like to have a better mounting option

Pros: small, compact, good looking design
Comment:
a great little usb hub, does everything it's supposed to do in a nice neat package. i prefer this one over my belkin 7 port where the usb port placement has a 5 + 2 placement.

Cons: Doesn't include pre-drilled screw holes which would allow wall/desk mounting.

Pros: Seven powered USB ports.
Comment:
A terrific little device to multiply USB ports on your computer. Others have said that it has screw holes for wall mounting, but I think D-Link must have changed their design because my device doesn't have any.
