Cons: 5Ghz will drop  if used simultaneously with 2.4Ghzmoderate wireless range/speedno third party firmwareruns somewhat hot

Pros: Affordablemoderate wireless range/speedwired network works smooth
Comment:
5Ghz will drop  when used simultaneously with 2.4Ghz. I have to reboot router in order to make it work simultaneously. Even when it works, 5Ghz will just die out after some days of use, maybe related to heat problem? It runs somewhat hot. I do not like the linksys software thing going on with all recent lineups of linksys routers.Range/speed is OK, but wish it was stronger.Currently looking at high-end N900 or AC1750 routers to pick one up on sale.Still one of the best router to pick up at ~$20 range tho.

Cons: 5 GHz is coverage isn't the best, no third party firmware available

Pros: Easy to set up, GigE ports, Simultaneous Dual Band, App enabled, good $ value as a refurb
Comment:
I purchased two of these on a recent sale to upgrade my home network. The features that attracted me were the gigabit ports and the simultaneous dual band support. I can't lie that I was also hoping for third party firmware support but that seems like it isn't going to happen.I rolled back the app enabled firmware to the classic but the classic would not provide the configured DNS servers to wired PCs, only to wireless. That was a deal breaker for me as I use OpenDNS family Shield DNS servers.I upgraded to the app enabled firmware and configured everything I wanted through the web interface. Everything was pretty easy to use. I set up DHCP reservations with a few clicks.I set one of the routers to bridge mode so everything in my network was on the same subnet. I named the SSIDs differently as some of the devices would not connect to the stronger signal otherwise.I signed up for an app enabled account so I can run the android app and configure (parental control ;-) ) while on the go.The signal levels of the 5GHz band were too low to use for devices moving about the house. All in all, a good little router for the price.

Cons: It won't get a WAN ip address, boot is too slow

Pros: None, not work at all.
Comment:
Don't waste your money, it's a cr*p. no WAN ip, no internet. I guess the DHCP does not work, besides, its slow boot. Buy something really works. Never had this problem with any other routers before.

Cons: -Linksys software is a bit retarded (adding devices doesn't always work even if they're on your network already)

Pros: -CHEAP-It works Great-Small & Compact design-Looks sleek and is very thin compared to other routers
Comment:
Been a great investment for $20.00 on sale, it works, no problems except the software is sort of stupid. not taking a star off for that because it still works regardless if the software detects the device or not.
