Cons: -Stock firmware is garbage but if you look hard you can find an alternative

Pros: -Good performance-If you can snag it on sale (and it seems to be on sale every week at NCIX) it's a great deal. Got mine for $30.
Comment:
It took me some Google-fu to find a suitable firmware alternative (Asus) but flashing it really unleashes the power of this cheap Dual Band solution.

Cons: The stock Belkin firmware is horrible. LED lights when reflashed using custom firmwre stay orange rather than blue.

Pros: Ralink 500 MHz SoC with dual band supportYou can install a hacked Asus RT-N56U (Black Diamond) FirmwareBuilt-in GigE Switch
Comment:
At ~$40 there isn't much out there that can provide the value. However, the stock Belkin firmware leaves a lot to be desired. There is no DD-WRT support for the router. However there is a custom N750DB firmwares based on ASUS RT-N56U project that can be found here: https://app.box.com/s/2wxyv4cjdgd52m4a1wzd. I had to flash the v72 firmware and then upgrade to the latest (v78). The custom firmware is much more fully featured. Well worth the money.

Cons: light plastic construction, does not effect quality

Pros: Price, quality, dual band, gigabyte lan, usb connections, quality, reliable, ease of use
Comment:
Picked up the router a couple of months ago at "The Source" for $59.00. Easy to set up works like a charm. Dual band works well when transferring files or streaming videos. This allows the 2.4GHz band free for your internet. Two USB ports for printing or external storage, plus gigabit Lan makes a great router for the price. Here is a link below of a full video review I did for this router.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FpblJQtMNY

Cons: The 5G range is really bad.

Pros: The 2.4G works fine.
Comment:
Got it for $29.99, and it is OK for $29.99. I was getting this for its 450Mbps 5G band... but its 5G range is disappointing. Yes, I know that 5G normally has a short coverage than 2.4G, but this one’s 5G is under-average and weak. Belkin’s firmware is functiional, but minimal in terms of features; however, for $29.99, it is all right.

Cons: 2.4GHz wireless speed and 5GHz range could be better

Pros: Features true dual-band Gigabit Ethernet, offers fast 5GHz wireless speeds, has two USB ports for hosting an external storage device or printer.
Comment:
The price of this router keeps going down (I got it for 32.99, currently at 29.99). While far from perfect, it's likely to deliver more than what you pay for.
