Cons: -Ambidextrous design makes it uncomfortable occasionally-Laser optics is off-center (I do not mind it but some do)

Cons: Little tiny seal on the ring that makes up the scroll wheel can be felt while scrolling - Minor annoyance but worth warning about

I've historically known Genius for making fairly cheap disposable gear. It took me quite a long thought session before deciding to pay this much for a Genius product, but I'm glad I did. We have a lefty in the house so the symmetrical design is a huge plus for us (Kids machine sports a Logitech G300, this one was for my machine).The only complaint I have is that the ring that makes up the light bar in the middle of the scroll wheel is like a C ring that is sealed together in order to enclose the wheel. This seal can be felt as a slight bump on an otherwise smooth surface.The software was easy to use, the profiles are easy to manage, the lighting works well (even if a little gimmicky), and so far it seems like a pretty solid product . . . here's hoping I think the same in 2 years time. |
I have had this mouse for the past four days, and I love it so far. It took half-a-day or so to get used to the ambidextrous design, but now that I am used to it it is fantastic. Love the customizability of the backlights and profiles. Would, and have recommended to my friends. Great purchase for any gamer.
