Cons: Not a great gaming card, but you aren't buying it for that are you?
Pros: Fairly inexpensiveCompletely silentLow profile Comment:
Bought this to add a 3rd and 4th monitor. Install was quick and easy as usual, works right out of the box. Nothing bad to say about it.edit: I had read somewhere (And now I can't find the link) that you cannot do DVI and HDMI at the same time. However I can confirm with 100% certainty that you can do HDMI and DVI at the same time. This review was modfied by poster @ 12-08-11 02:03 PM |

Cons: - Not a gamer graphics card (not really a con, just a fact)- Didn't come with a DVI-VGA adapter (it doesn't need one since it has both types of ports, but you can never have too many of these adapters it seems)
Pros: - Fanless- All three common types of display hookups (VGA, HDMI, DVI)- Very simple setup- 1GB VRAM Comment:
It will play older games, of course, but where this card is really useful is in HTPC builds. It handles all high-def video content with ease and doesn't make any noise - that's all you could ask for. The price is great, it has all display connectivity options, and a 3 year warranty, though not a lifetime, isn't bad for a budget card. |
Used this to revive a discarded Dell Optiplex GX280 Pentium-4 system with this card in the PCIe slot, the system plays 1080p video using smplayer on Ubuntu 10.04 + mplayer daily build.Excellent value, and helped us recycle the old P4 system as a media player.
