Totally maintenance free: set it and forget it. Bought for roughly 35$ just trying to avoid ATI products. I had little to no expectations and I ended up pleasantly surprised. Excellent product for workstation or HTPC / home server application.

Cons: Heatsink is thick. You will lose a PCI slot, at least I did on my mATX board.

Pros: Comes with low profile bracket includedNo fans to make noise
Comment:
This is the perfect card for HTPC users. Has both standard and low profile brackets to fit those tiny HTPC cases, it's 100% silent, and it's short so you shouldn't have any clearance issues with it.I bought it when re-building a HTPC out of new and old parts. This was used on a Asus motherboard to replace the aging on-board chip. I figured with the price after the mail in rebate I couldn't say no.I was pleasantly surprised that it made a bigger difference than I had anticipated. Smoother scrolling, smoother video playback, and a slightly better picture on my old 720p plasma. It supports bitstreaming of all of the sound formats you need and it does a much better job of handling the HDMI audio to my receiver than the old chip on my old motherboard did. Plays HD streaming over the net without a sweat.Super happy for the money I have into the card.I do not game on the computer or use it to play blu rays so I can't report on that. I expect it will play blu rays fine but I wouldn't think it would do too well on graphic intensive games.

Cons: None yet.

Pros: Worked great, no noise, no problems.
Comment:
I got this card to have a second monitor on my work PC. The primary video card wouldn't output sound on HDMI and this card did perfectly. It will also allow for four monitors later.

Pros: inexpensive, silent, faster that expected for that price
Comment:
Getting this card around $20-$25 is a very good deal:- 100% silent- reliable so far- windows finds and install drivers automatically- VGA and HDMI outputs work perfectly, Haven't tested HDMI yet.- Many games from 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 will run very smoothly on it, but don't expect the latest 2013 games to fly in high res at that price!

Good video card. Bought it to replace the built in one for my PC. It had failed so was just looking for a budget video card to replace it. Using it on a PC used for emails, surfing, and watching videos online. So far so good! Easy plug and play.

I bought this for an HTPC set up in a low profile case, this fit the bill perfectly. So far this card works fine. I like the fact that it give you the HDMI as well as the D-SUB and DVI-I connections.

Cons: - Only if you expected a high-performance gaming card

Pros: - Modern features for a solid HTPC- HDMI bitstreaming- Great value
Comment:
I purchased this card as a workaround/upgrade on an older LGA775 home theatre PC build. The existing built-in Intel graphics on this system lacked DXVA2 acceleration, and bitstreaming of advanced DTS and Dolby formats. It also on occasion caused bizarre video corruption on HDMI that freaked out my Optoma projector. Threw in this basic Nvidia card, and all is well. It's quiet/passive, and just does what it's supposed to. High definition content is no problem. It plays nice with XBMC, which is 90 percent of what I needed.

Cons: Better buy an onboard video chip cost much less and give a better game playback. Even with old old old game!

Pros: Cheap and stable...Nice to play movies on my TV flawlessly great for an HTPC.
Comment:
I bought this card because the HDMI port port of my onboard chip died... Will buy a better discret card for playing games. I have to say that it's a great part for HTPC builders!

Cons: The mail-in rebate?

Pros: Completely silent. Work out of box with nVidia proprietary driver on XMBCbuntu. Very cheap.
Comment:
Bought this fanless videocard to put in my htpc that run on XMBCbuntu. After the easy installation (just put it in the PCI-X slot) everything worked right away and I could watch a 1080p movie on my tv. I don't think I could have get something better for that price.
