Has a good connector configuration for my desires ྴƲpin, 3 SATA), 580 Watts, low-cost. This power provide creates some severe interference for other devices nearby. My wireless mouse (Logitech Mx700) gets genuinely quirky and my wireless NIC appears to struggle a lot while this power supply is on. I'm seriously not confident what inside a power supply operates at these frequencies that may be radiating, but this is actually frustrating. First let me say that the amount of energy you get for this cost is good and as a computer networking major i have a lot of energy cords so that was never a issue. Also as a networking significant i was curious to see how this thing would work being it was so affordable, unfortunately my suspensions were proper. I tested it right when i got it and my tester mentioned the იV2 was too low (it doesn't say what voltage it is just that its too low) but i via it in the desktop anyways and it powers it up. I don't want to deal with sending it back simply because it was only around 20 bucks at the time (instant savings) and its in a desktop that's 6 years old and i don't care about. If it wrecks it, oh properly ive wanted to create a new for a though anyways. Bottom line, if you have a PC you care about or a gaming rig don't acquire this power supply.

quiet (compare to my old one)excellent cost for psu > 400W CPU 12V cord could be short if you have buttom mounted psu and CPU power socket on your MT is at best. my case has button mounted psu, the 4 pin-12 V CPU cord is quite tight to plug into the MB CPU power socket.

Replaced failed P/S and I see no distinction at a fraction of the cost. four-pin connector to CPU is stretched to its limit in my Antec P183, but so was my prior power supply. I purchased this to replace a failed ENERMAX 500W that had been operating for about three.5 years. Extremely solid psu. Have a C2D E6400 @ three. Ghz and OC'd 9800GT, and Important Ballistix Tracers DDR2 1066. No issues handling any of the overclocking or gaming that I do. For the amps it produces, its a no brainer. Even handled 2 old X1950Pro's in Crossfire with a Pentium D @ 3.2Ghz. Lack of additional cables, but for the cost, isn't actually a big deal. Molex adapters and SATA adapters are low-cost, and will get the job accomplished. If you don't have a wicked program, and all you want is something that will power your fundamental CPU, mobo, memory, couple challenging drives, CD drive, and graphics card, this is fine. Have an additional one in my wifey's pc, and its been running powerful for two years now. Have been recommended by other people to purchase this PSU, and have no regrets at all.

Omitting a flashy box and power cable keeping the price down is good for someone who wants to just replace an old PSU and already has cables. One of, if not the only power supply in this cost range and wattage that offers dual rails rather of single and 75% efficiency vs. the 70% most other spending budget power supplies advertise. Fan's are quiet, and the grates are the chrome wire type and not stamped steel so they are much less likely to collect dust and become clogged. Wires are a lot long. As others have noted there is no wire management, and no packaging, but if they put a nice loom on it and stuck it in a quite box it would in all probability be twice the price. I lately purchased a new case for my primary rig that has the energy supply mounted on the bottom and located the 24 pin and 4 pin cpu power supply cables on the 1 I had to be too short. Luckily I had purchased this one to use on a old p4 that's fan bearings had been beginning to whine so I was able to use it instead. Quiter than the 1 I had and it may well not have a fancy loom but at least the wires are long sufficient.
