Cons: - Crappy speakers that sound like a tin can, suggest purchasing some computer speakers (then again, many projectors do not even have speakers therefore not a big concern)- Room can't be too bright although still watchable- Expensive

I have owned the LG HW300T for ~3 weeks and I am very pleased. I currently have the projector set up on a tripod (recommended) projecting onto a white wall. Picture looks fabulous in a dim room but is still watchable with moderate lighting. Unfortunately, direct sunlight washes out the picture completely. Operation is quiet when in economical mode but fan is noticeable at full brightness.Speakers sounded like tin cans, just using computer speakers for now, eventually going to use a blu-ray home theatre system.Picture looks AMAZING in 720p. Keep in mind, this small unit CANNOT compete with a more powerful 1000-2000 lumen projector which is designed for a home theatre/business set-up (the larger you make the screen, the dimmer it will be, it is only a 300 lumen unit). Don't be cheap, spend the money if you require a more powerful projector instead of complaining about this one, use this unit for what it was designed.If you can accommodate the quirks of the LG HW300T, keeping in mind that is was made for a small and portable home theatre set-up, then it will serve you well. Very please with it, highly recommended and would buy again. Cheers. |
This is the perfect projector! Small, No bulb to change, good image quality and it support DLNA ... No need to plug something on it.... Just connect via wi-fi and watch movies streaming from your pc/mac... It work perfectly! I'm very happy of my purchase! I use it in a room with total darkness and the distance between the wall and the projector is about 2.8m so it give me ~85" of screen!
