It connects to your audio player and sound comes out. I bought 1 of these for my wife final christmas at a retailer and it is not even worth acquiring. The sound top quality is awful and it eats batteries like nobody's organization. |

Nice neutral sound. Modest and hassle-free for desktop use. Economical. If played at a reasonable volume, it sounds fairly great. Not meant for higher volume listening. Wire attaching MP3 player is rather thin. I bought the iHome speaker and a comparable smaller Sony speaker and the iHome puts the Sony to shame. The Sony sounds like a 1940's radio. Very tinny with no bass at all. The sound on these modest speakers depends greatly on how you have your MP3 player equalized. Don't anticipate earth shattering volume or thumping bass, but the iHome has a good neutral sound at low to moderate volume. I use rechargeable batteries and they last fairly a long time just before recharging. This is a individual listening device. |

Great sound excellent. Incredibly light and portable. Excellent for taking audio on trips so you have sound where there are no energy outlights. Drains battery power fairly rapidly. Calls for four AA batteries. All round excellent for the value. Does what it supposed to do which is portable on the go speakers. |

three months and counting on the identical batteries; cradles the player for enhanced maneuverability/portability; on/off switch speakers fire to the sides so it has bad soundfield; not incredibly loud outstanding design compromises to deliver good good quality at a low value; wife utilizes it everywhere from the bathroom even though applying makeup to the garden even though planting bulbs...anywhere handsfree and tangle-no cost makes her put down the earbuds. |

If you are looking for a bedside speaker this is the correct a single . The price is reasonable also. The sound is terrible when you raise the volume . It has to be played at a low level . Please speak to the seller/distributors before getting items from newwegg simply because the facts of some of the merchandise are misleading . The info on this product says EXB circuitry bass and protective case included . I received this product and there was no case nor EXB circuitry bass . When I contacted the distributor I was told that Newegg facts of the item is misleading . On the entire Newegg is the greatest prices and the shipping is reallllllly rapid . |

Sounded good for a couple of weeks than fails swiftly. Purchased this from staples soon after seeing right here on new egg and ended up buying it for around ten bucks. At very first sounded fantastic than it quite stopped sounding so good the bass cut out entirly. Way to high-priced for any sort of excellent sound from this product. Remain away and get a thing far better |

External speakers Not at all loud enough to be beneficial I got this to listen to podcasts on my cell phone whilst in the car. My Galaxy S phone speaker is actually louder than what these speakers can generate. This in spite of the fact that these speakers are self powered! |
