It works with my new core solo Intel Mac mini. Config with new mac mini at startup tricky. hit the reset button on the keyboard if OSX does not recognize it for the duration of the Keyboard config at the intial startup of your new mini. If that does not operate turn off your mac and restart it(don't worry it goes back correct were you left off. its a MAC!)

None Unusable. Continually drops keystrokes, horrible mouse tracking. Tried drivers, resynching, batteries, nothing worked for me. Gave up following a week and purchased an IOGEAR GKM541RA, which I've been working with for two years with no problems.

Presents itself as a typical USB HID device, so fairly significantly all items perform out of the box. Yes, it operates with Linux as well, but for factors I never ever delved into, only when the dongle is plugged in through boot. Linux still sees it as a HID device, but the dongle by no means initializes otherwise. The mouse/joystick and overall design is fairly ergonomic for something of that size. Looks to have no error correction capability. Keypress AND keyrelease occasions sometimes do not register, resulting in missed keystrokes or sticking keys. Difficulties happen occaisionally with the keyboard correct next to the receiver and get significantly worse as the distance in between the two increases. Not encouraged for lots of typing.Watch out for that Fn crucial getting in the reduce-left corner exactly where you anticipate Ctrl to be. Think about a bluetooth keyboard. It's worth the extra funds. Bluetooth offers you some added security via authentication and encryption. Best of all although, you have error correction, so the keyboards can perform as reliably as wired ones.

wireless keyboard with mouse functions via joystick. just what I needed for my htpc. Superb connectivity with the wireless adapter. keys are solid. the only thing missing would be a touch pad. comparing this to the various other models that do have touch pad (expensive logitech and the ๠ "laptop" kind keyboards), I felt I did extremely nicely for ึ. The only con is the lack of hand molded grips like you discover on other boards. s

no line of website necessary, performs with usb hub, doesn't have any concern with getting a secondary keyboard (i have logitech g11 keyboard as my primary board and use this as a media keyboard when watching films or wanting to shut off my computer from my bed). Doesn't light up, was a bit tricky to get the transmitter to operate at initial...till I read the directions;) Make positive you hit the transmit button on the keyboard Inside 30 seconds of plugging in the usb transmitter, otherwise it won't work and you'll have to redo.I wouldn't trust it from the full 30ft away. It would be nice if it came with mouse acceleration software/dpi alternatives...as the mouse is super slow, but operates fine. Most likely the dpi is 400 or one thing...performs fine, just don't count on any quick commands or ninja moves;) smaller footprint, about twoǙ the size of my other wireless keyboard, and super tiny transmitter that fits in any port no matter how big the item is in the adjacent port (wireless network, usb television, etc.). Great bang for the buck.I use it from about 10ft away with no troubles.

Compact, all-in-one particular resolution for a Linux media Computer. Functions out of the box with MythTV. One particular usb connection is all it takes for each keyboard/mouse. Range = 15+ feet. Keyboard and mouse keys feel a bit flimsy. But can't complain for 50 bucks. Had to press button on usb connection to 'connect' keyboard on initial startup. Other than that, performs out of the box with Knoppmyth - MythTV.

Excellent Size and range for the Keyboard Mouse requires a little finding utilized as well, at times its a pain if you hit the caps lock button mainly because theres no way to know if its on or not so it can be aggrevating when trying to log into a thing thats case sensitive

I have been working with this for a few years and when I came back to newegg for a second one particular for one more create I was shocked to see others didn't like it as effectively. I assume its funny that some people have said 8 keys stopped working simply because there is a "Fn" key that turns aspect of the keypad to arrow and function keys and its uncomplicated to mistakenly hit it but in no way is the keyboard broken. I use it practically each and every day for about an hour and more than 2 years am only on my second set of batteries. Would like to be in a position to adjust speed of mouse. Probable exists -I just can't come across it.Range can be restricted. I run it in the 15' range and wouldn't go considerably more than that. My rating was based of off characteristics to price and this keypad/mouse was far more than worth the funds to me.

When it chooses to operate it's ok. Wouldn't work at all initially--turned out the included batteries were worthless. Even with fresh batteries it does not reliably register keystrokes, from time to time even at brief range. A decent if slighly flimsy keyboard, but sometimes couldn't even get a password typed out in various tries. Not really useable.

Keyboard and mouse in a single. Odd loss of signal when out of line-of-sight of receiver. Odd loss of signal when hand is over exactly where I feel the keyboard transmits the signal. Appears to interfere with my WiFi router. All cons becoming mentioned, I'm genuinely pleased with my acquire, specially thinking about that the other option was finding an actual wireless keyboard and mouse combo. For an HTPC I'd rather worry about obtaining my keyboard rest on my lap or couch than getting to worry about acquiring an further surface to roll the mouse on.

Tiny Compact performs specifically as anticipated. Plastic appears a tiny too light weight. Range was only ok. I then employed the included extension cord and put the USB reciver/xmiter on prime of the Television. The point works in other rooms of the house now, like 40-50 feet away.

Comment:
Joystick-variety mouse is effortless to use (only way to go with this kind of keyboard, IMO), great size, reasonably straightforward to type on, acceptable range. Main mouse button wore out following about 8 months. Fn important and ctrl key areas must be swapped. No scrolling capability. Despite being an RF keyboard, practically requirements line-of-sight with the receiver to work correctly. At the time I bought this keyboard, it was practically the only decent wireless keyboard offered on Newegg for under โ. It has served me properly for the most aspect, but it has been aggravating at instances.First of all, the lack of a scroll function (pressing each mouse keys simultaneously would have been enough for me) is disappointing, because I use my personal computer primarily for internet browsing. The Fn key is in the precise place exactly where I anticipate the ctrl crucial to be, and to this day I still hit it accidentally from time to time. Mouse really feel is just fine following acquiring used to it (and turning up the speed all the way), but the primary mouse button has been almost worn out from continuous use.Range is fantastic, so long as you don't block the path to the receiver. If I sit with my knees up and the keyboard resting on my legs, it doesn't choose up most of what I kind. The unit itself feels type of low-cost, but will withstand a decent amount of abuse.

Wireless, smaller, integrated mouse Dicey reception (needs line of sight), joystick is just also significantly of a hassle, feels kinda low cost. I also necessary a skinny allen wrench to press the connection button on the keyboard - not confident if this was a defect (i.e. the button slid below the case) or if it's intentional. I have to admit the joystick wasn't as negative as I expected, but there's a superior resolution out there. I wanted a keyboard that would permit me to browse the net on my television from my sofa, and this was not the solution. The reception wasn't good, and the joystick just made browsing too challenging. I plan on acquiring a wireless keyboard w/ a finger pad instead.

OK rangeSlim, light, compact Keys feel very low-cost, from time to time even with great signal strength words get mis-spelled and letters drop.not as fantastic of signal strength, but way far better than the final set I bought.. I would say about ten feet... more than that keys drop constantly and the mouse stick is worthlessthe mouse stick is a tiny cumbersom, but what can you anticipate for the price i wish it had additional range, and that the keys wernt so low cost... otherwise it does the job until I get a new desk and can move my computer from my tv back to my lcd

this small keyboard is seriously cool, its a small tricky finding it to operate, but the moment you figure it out it performs wonderful. I sit in my living room with it about 10 to 15 feet away from my pc, and I really like the tiny joystick pointer controller. It takes some receiving utilized to but it is good to have it all in one particular unit none none

good range, compact size, contains a "mouse" in it... 8 keys stopped working, 30-days return window is too tiny. Nicely, I got this keyboard for my media Pc awhile ago. First, it took me about 3 months to develop a machine then a different three-4 months to get a Television (a appropriate a single for the right cost). So, when I began employing the keyboard, it was properly soon after 30 days had been over. The keyboard worked fine initially but then 8 keys had been beginning to quit working. Finally, I noticed that every thing goes to typical soon after a gentle "bump" of the keyboard against my lap... Looks like a faulty get in touch with to me - possibly, it is just my undesirable luck.Otherwise, I would advise this item to anybody.

Tiny, remote control to my desktop with out mouse, no missing typing. Key stroke is not smooth like a low cost toggle switch. FN crucial is situated in the improper position. Generally, there need to be CTRL in that position. And for the FN crucial is a toggle switch, when it is pushed accidently, then you have to push it again to turn off the toggle.

I have employed this keyboard for over two years now and it has performed perfectly! I use it with my PVR and have in no way had any problems. I have also applied this with Mthbuntu (Linux) and had no concerns. The range is fine, there is no key lag. I also use rechargeable batteries with in it and it works great! If some of you have gotten a negative on from a poor batch just have newegg replace it, it’s worth it!!!!! None If it was encrypted that would top rated off a best item, but I understood that going in. Thank you Newegg for a different Excellent item!!!!!!

Compact. Indication LEDs for transmit, low battery connect, etc. Good range so far. Joystick control very good. No Multimedia keys, Function essential and manage important swapped, not ergonomic. Replaced an old BTC keyboard that I liked a lot. This appears to have identical circuitry. I miss the multimedia keys but like the indicator lights.
