Comment:
Superior range when functional, no drivers required, worked great in Linux. Has an integrated joystick mouse that was effortless to use. Only worked half the time, requiring re-sync with the USB receiver usually, which needs physically touching the receiver. Initially keyboard arrived defective, Newegg replaced, and the second a single failed right after a handful of months of use. Threw in garbage, and am going to uncover anything by a reputable company... I very advise staying away from this item, and spending a few extra bucks on a thing that functions. I don't fault Newegg for my troubles with this item, but am surprised they bother to carry such a piece of garbage following the several complaints and returns... Newegg gave me A+ support when dealing with RMA concerns, as usual.

This keyboard/joystick combo can't be beat as far as size, range, and general useablity. The keyboard is about the size of a laptops and so does require some receiving employed to if all you use is a regular size keyboard, and you will want to tweak you mouse settings to make the joystick move faster. But these are both results of the tiny size and can't be deemed a down side. I dropped it about 40 instances and it finally broke, but genuinely i bought this keyboard 3 years ago and have applied it ever considering that so i can't complain. Battery life was very long, the only time the batteries didn't last was on an occasion when i went on holiday and left a book on the keyboard for a week. I will purchase this keyboard once more, or the equivalent one particular that has a trackball rather than a joystick (Don't feel they sell it on newegg). As far as those who mentioned they had brief range, i discovered that if you had been proper on top rated of a monitor that it would create interference, which never ever proved to be a dilemma for me thinking about that i wanted to use the keyboard 15' from the monitor.

Great range, light weight, long battery life the low bat light doesn't seem to operate on mine, or it's that when it gets weak that the wifi card in the system it's hooked up to leaves too substantially interference

compact, connected instantly to PS3 connection breaks whenever the USB dongle loses energy, joystick not the ideal for PS3. I got this for my PS3 so I could kind points and not have to resort to employing the controller, or the mini-keyboard that attaches to the controller. It types fine, as any keyboard must, but the integrated joystick is NOT like the controller joystick... it lags tricky, if it reacts at all, so it's mostly just very good for typing. You also have to reconnect it any time you turn on or energy-cycle the PS3... not difficult, but annoying.

No want to worry about line of sight communications. No need of worrying about obtaining the pointing device since the joystick is integrated to the keyboard. Could be slightly larger and response timing could be improved. All in all, it's a decent wireless product. Each client I've sold a Media Center PC to and integrated this keyboard, they've been content with the configuration as a entire. Some of the function keys get a small cramped so continuous typing could potentially get annoying. But for leisure time typing and the occasional email, it's A-O-K.

Wireless! RF so it doesn't require line-of-sight. two.4GHz which could be a difficulty in some circumstances while I have not had any difficulties and I have the laptop side of this as nicely as an 802.11b AP and a 2.4GHz AV transmitter all within a 5' sphere of each other. It didn't operate out of the box but by resetting the channel choice as soon as, something the manual said I shouldn't want to do, it worked fine. The stick/mouse buttons would be a small ackward for general laptop or computer use but it works just fine for a home theater method and light web browsing. It functions nicely inside ten' or so and gets flakey by 20' but ᝺' is all you require for a house theater Computer. Not the very best feel or the most ergonomic keyboard I've used but then once again neither are laptop keyboards. Plus on a HTPC you usually aren't carrying out a lot of typing -- the top quality/feel tradeoff is reasonable for acquiring some thing that's wireless and only utilized for light use.

RF, smaller, thin, built in "mouse", fits nice on your lap, comes with a USB extension cable, type of fun to use. Doesn't really feel solid. Doesn't generally register mouse clicks. No feet. Ctr and fn crucial definately developed backwards. Fantastic for a spare pc you dont constantly use or a media center. Doesn't really feel worth the dollars, but I would still advise it (only for a spare comp or media center). And hey, the USB extension cable will often be useful.

Excellent range, very light keyboard, thin, comfortable in the lap. Outstanding placement of pg up/pg down/home/ and finish keys. Functions out of the box in Zenwalk Linux, zero messing about. I'm obtaining employed to jockeying in between the keyboard and the mouse joystick and button placement. Ah well...absolutely nothing's best. This is the best wireless keyboard I could find that I could confirm works in Linux.

Low-cost and tiny. Plus thumbstick provides Excellent mouse manage (better than Joystick2Mouse and a xbox or ps2 gamepad) Unit failed the second day of use. 1st a row of keys stopped working, and shortly thereafter the entire unit failed. In addition, the distance from my couch to HTPC (about 12 ft) was apparently too far. Dicey reception. Overall unimpressed. I'd suggest one thing else.

the keyboard is low-cost and has a joystick usefull for a mouse. This board either sucks or was created by an idiot because i discover myself having to continualy reset my wireless keyboard everytime i shutdown or restart my computer system. Most of the time i can\'t get it to work due to the fact midway of booting my computer system the usb device stops operating and just looses all connection. Either i had a negative keyboard or this companys products suck.

It has decent range. I could nonetheless use it 15 feet away from the receiver. I feel that having a thumb size USB receiver is a plus if don't like wired receivers. It's reasonably effortless to setup and enable transmitter. It has "low battery" indicator light. Batteries included. 1) This keyboard can have some latency really feel to it when typing. I've also had troubles with important not registering when pressed. In other words, keys are not incredibly sensitive like laptop keyboards. two) There is no light indicator for "Num Lock", "Scroll Lock", and "Caps Lock". You won't know if you have caps enabled unless you start typing. I would locate that annoying particularly if I press Caps Lock frequently by accident. 3) The mouse feels like a joystick on playstation controllers. But I didn't like the truth that it moves slowly and then accelerates a second afterward. I think it would have been greater if the speed of the cursor was much more uniform. four) The casing for this keyboard is very flimsy. If you are not the cautious and caring kind, do not buy. 5) If your are using this on a flat surface, note that this keyboard does not have flippable risers at the bottom. 6) Price is too high for this device specifically when it's not that fantastic of a keyboard. Effectively its wireless. You can use some thing like this when you have your personal computer hooked up to Tv. Sit comfortably in your couch and navigate with out wires. Couch potatoes dream come true.

Excellent range on fresh batteries (great meaning 50 feet through a wall), good joystick tracking No caps lock light, often wants to be reset (pull out batteries and put them back in) for all keystrokes to register All in all this is definitely good. I got this for my carPC and it does every thing I need it to. Range is wonderful and the USB interface installed flawlessly.

Great for HTPC use. Little footprint, integrated mouse functions, long battery life. Fantastic for my uses. Need to have line of sight for reception, which was uncomplicated to fix as soon as I figured it out. Feels a bit inexpensive. I wouldn't use this as a keyboard for my desktop, I would prefer a separate mouse, and a greater quality really feel for that, but for the occasional use it gets for my HTPC, it's best!

Inexpensive, modest size, very good battery life. Flimsy, mouse button wears out quick, Mac compatibility spotty. I've now gone by way of two of these keyboards in about 18 months. Mouse button wore out on the initially one soon after a year, and the keyboard on the second one failed yesterday. They keyboard itself is quite flimsy, but I can't say whether or not this contributes to its short lifespan. The first one worked great with my Mac Mini, but the second 1 wouldn't function...until I started using the USB receiver from the 1st 1. All in all, I'm going to devote additional income and get one thing far better subsequent time.

Good range (works from 20ft away or so, even by means of walls to some extent). Battery life is great, I've left a blanket pushing buttons overnight and the batteries had been nonetheless fine. You have to watch exactly where you put your fingers when clicking the mouse buttons, since if you put them suitable over the front of the keyboard it blocks the RF antenna and it drops the double click. Also occasionally has to be unplugged/replugged in when WinXP goofs up and "loses" the keyboard."Fn" key is in location of ctrl important, so occasionally ctrl-C/ctrl-v to copy paste goes wrong. It's a good HTPC keyboard, really similar feel to your typical laptop keyboard, joystick function but does have a slight "lag" to get moving.

I bought this for vehicle pc usage due to its small size. It simply fits under my passenger seat, and a coworker who recommended it can even fit it in his glove box. Keyboard mostly "just works," which is superior. No difficulties with resyncing when powering up. No drivers necessary. I necessary an on/off switch, so I cut into the case and soldered in a switch at the leading of the keyboard by tapping into the battery case leads. Fortunately, this doesn't cause sync problems. This helps save the battery a lot, especially simply because I don't use the keyboard frequently. It's tiny size and integrated mouse is a plus. For my requirements having an on/off switch was a must, but it's uncomplicated to do if you're comfortable soldering. I've owned it for ㅊ months.

The battery life is incredibly lengthy, worth far more words than I can give it in that regard. The keyboard is slim and compact, but it has most of the essential functions, just like a normal laptop keyboard--hold Fn and hit NumLock to use the keypad, and factors like that. The mouse is pretty neat, and it's nice to have buttons on 1 thumb and the joystick in the other. Buttons could be easier to press. You can't just type away and expect it to be ideal with the keyboard; sometimes a key takes force to really be sent to the pc. The distance isn't extremely very good; it's more like ten feet rather of ten meters. I had to use an extension cord on an extension cord so that the receiver would be in the middle of my living room to get the keyboard's signals.I didn't like the lack of the scroll function. I couldn't truly click and hold both buttons and move the joystick to scroll internet pages, and there's no way to mimic the action of a normal mouse's scroll wheel. That made browsing the world-wide-web and my world-wide-web gaming rather... sad. Genuinely, I wish I could've tested the product and sent it back. I contemplate it a mistake to have bought it.

inexpensive, works without drivers, exceptional range, no line of sight needed, not ugly... flimsy, "joystick mouse" is awkward with buttons on the other side of the keyboard (rather have touchpad like a laptop), no media player buttons (i can't believe they forgot this) i use it with my media center pc, and i'm pleased with it

NO DRIVERS! so winXP installs some generic useless driver off itself!

Nice, uncomplicated wireless keyboard with lots of range. Loved the joystick mouse, notfor special application/gaming, but for browsing was ideal. Not rugged enough for a living room. Granted my living room isnt the most tech friendly place, this keybord didnt last lengthy. I have a patch of keys that has stopped working all together and is spreading. Some times the recieve stops working, wants restart and re connect. I wish there was an additional keyboard out there like this 1 that was a bit much more sturdy, but for some reason, wireless keyboards, alt. mouse options(touch pad, trackball, joystick) are not about considerably.
