Cons: the software is crap so i just use the windows software.

Pros: Looks great, Very smooth mouse, Thumb buttons are perfect fit, Good weight.
Comment:
Very good mouse and worth every penny. The software for it makes it finicky so i just uninstalled it and back to smooth. it's the only mouse where i can actually use the thumb buttons easily. Very happy with this mouse. Oh and cleaning the lens once in a while on any mouse will keep it working nice and smooth.

this mouse is acting bad at full 3200 dpi, the mouse glitches when moving around, which is annoying. i will switch back to death adder if the laser changes(it use too be too warm)...

Cons: DPI sensor is too sensitive

Pros: Good Price for a mouse, and good quality
Comment:
Got mouse on sale for only $20. Have no complaints about it, though it is very easy to accidentally change the dpi. It is large and feels comfortable in the hand, would recommend. The two thumb buttons are easy to reach, and build quality seems quite good.

Cons: Regular price a little high.

Pros: Does what it needs to do well
Comment:
The mouse is worth every penny if you buy it on sale. There are many options out there for the regular price with added features which may sway the buy. The mouse feels solid and is comfortble, but that may change from user to user.

Cons: Button quality, surface too slippery, and width

Pros: Great quality, good tracking
Comment:
Was excited to finally get a decent gaming mouse - I haven't had any problems with accidentally clicking the scroll button. Laser is a little picky on surfaces (even while using gaming pad). The surface of the mouse is too slippery (palm can't rest). The buttons feel flimsy though the side finger rests are nice.Ordered Thursday received Thursday of the following week (2 day order process, 3 day shipping)

Cons: I would like it to be a little heavier.

Pros: I like the 5 DPI settings. The mouse buttons are responsive.
Comment:
The laser mouse is much better than the optical mice I have been using. It is a good mouse for 30 dollars. It is comfortable. I will buy another if it is on sale on my next order.

Cons: some edges feel sharp.. i guess its a manufacturing thing

Pros: -the blue LED light looks sick-DPI changing is accurate and nicely done-Tracking is amazing and feels comfy
Comment:
This mouse felt weird in my hand for the first 2 hrs since i was used to a much smaller mouse. But, after that, it felt great. It tracks well and the DPI switching functionality is great. The 2 additional buttons are nicely placed. Best of all, HP provides an amazing software to go with it. Must buy if you're looking for a cheap gaming mouse.

Very happy with this mouse. The carbon fibre design is a very nice touch. Feels a little larger then my stock mouse but it feels good.

Cons: mouse wheel button gets pressed too easily.

Pros: solid construction, comfortable.
Comment:
just made this purchase today and i couldnt really ask for more for the price i paid $29for me upgrading from default microsoft mouse made a significant difference in terms of performance. mouse clicks are well designed so that when you are rapidly clicking it is easy to do so. real life example of this would be playing sc2 when you force workers to mine a same mineral (some of you will know what i mean) and that has made the world of difference for me. However, when you scroll mouse wheel it gets unintentionally pressed quite often. It is not a huge issue but it still is noticeable.

Cons: -Design of the shell-Small rubber feet

Pros: -Price-Construction -5 Buttons-Ergonomic -Many DPI levels
Comment:
For $20-30, it is probably the best gaming mice at that price point. The laser tracks well and isn't blinding to look at. The positioning of the 2 side buttons are interesting, and works well.Overall, great build and quality.

Cons: DPI changes in one direction only.

Pros: RubberLightsTracks well
Comment:
Hey this is a pretty good mouse. I like it. It tracks good. Not bad. It looks good. The leds is blue, and has a nice effect when on max dpi. I would recommend to everyone. The mouse fits the hand well, and does not feel cheap. Rubber is solid. Better than razer mouse I had before it.The only bad thing about it is the dpi switches in one direction only. But that's not a big deal.

Comment:
I've had the Asus version of this mouse for over 2 years and it broke last week. I wasn't sure about the 2 thumb buttons placement at first but after a while I grew to love them and it's damn near impossible to find another mouse with the 2 buttons above and below the thumb insted of both buttons above. I prefer the look of the Asus version but for 29.99$ this HP version was a real steal.

Cons: No USB-PS2 adapterNot a fan of the side button layoutTrouble tracking on some surfaces

Pros: Adjustable DPI
Comment:
A decent mouse if you can catch it on sale. 3200 DPI makes it good for traversing high resolution screens. I found it is a bit picky with some surfaces so be sure to use a proper mousepad. I also don't like the side button layout. The side buttons are above and below the thumb instead of the usual Logitech layout.

Cons: Too easy to click the wheel if you are scrolling fast.

Pros: Nice action. Adjustable DPI. Good price on sale.
Comment:
Good mouse but when I am trying to turn the scroll wheel fast I keep pressing down on the scroll wheel hard enough to also click it which has annoying side effects - never had this problem with any other mouse. Otherwise I like it.

Comment:
nice mouse, Does everything you would want in a gaming mouse. By that i mean customizing the sensitivity to suit your play style. quick dpi switching is easily done thru a recessed button on the top of the mouse. The rubber coating on the wheel is grippy and comfortable to use over a long gaming session. I agree with the reviews on the web, this is a kick ass mouse, and its affordable!

Very nice mouse. Great tracking. Adjustable speed. I would have liked the software giving the option to only use two speeds and not having the flashing LEDs (i.e. only the first two LEDs lighted).

Pros: Comfortable, teflon feet

Great mouse, especially if you pick it up on sale. The DPI button is perfect for on-the-fly switching. Fits well in my "smallish" hand.Software could be more robust - only has sensitivity, DPI and double-click speed.

Cons: ~Software~Mouse feet

Pros: ~Laser~Design
Comment:
I bought this to replace my old MX518. Although this has twice the dpi (3200 vs 1600), I couldn't really tell the difference between the two.The quality of the mouse feet is pretty bad. It's already fading after a few weeks of use.The software is kind of limited in functionality. It would be useful to link profiles to games.

Cons: - HP support

Pros: - decent shape- rubberized thumb grip- sensitive buttons- lightweight
Comment:
The shape fits long hands. The width is pretty standard, but it would be nice if it were wider. It works well with a palm or claw grip. The buttons for the most part require good light pressure to activate. The mouse wheel isn't stiff, but does require a bit more pressure. The thumb buttons are well positioned, especially the bottom one.If you require HP to honour its warranty, then you might be out of luck. HP support kept transferring me and I didn't get very far with my claim. Luckily, I could still use NCIX's 30 day warranty.

Cons: None other than that I find it difficult to use a standard mouse now that I have gotten used to the ergonomic feel of this mouse.

Pros: Cheap! Only paid $19.99. Very comfortable Ergonomic design. Great placement of side buttons, not easy to hit by accident. Did I mention cheap?!?!
Comment:
For what I paid for this thing, this has been the best $20 investment I've made in a long time. I highly recommend buying this mouse if it goes on sale again. Works great.
