I have purchased six laptops over the years, the Leonvo is the best bang for the buck ever. Stay with XP, stay away from Vista at any cost. The Lenovo works great, I've never been happier.

I needed something portable that would connect with work wherever I was. Home laptops had Vista which doesn't play well with work networks. This was a breeze to set up and I have not had a problem connecting wherever I am. Thank you Lenovo.

I needed a laptop to replace my desktop. It had to have XP pre-installed, no exceptions. I was a little skeptical about Lenovo since I hadnt heard much about it, but after doing a little research, it appeared to be a solid brand, so I ordered one. It arrived double-boxed but had no packing between the two boxes so the Lenovo box was banging around inside the shipping box. Upon inspection, I was pleased with the build; it is solid and has a nice keypad. There is no lock to hold the screen closed which is new for me. The mouse-pad with its default settings is a little touchy but I set it to be a little less sensitive, which just took a minute. The screen is nice and Ive had no issues with the resolution changing. The touch-pads buttons make a loud click and dont feel as nice as my Gateways but Ill get used to it. Runs cool, the fan hardly come on. The HD is not under the right palm rest like my Gateway which is nice. So far, I really like it and would definitely recommend it.

I just deployed this laptop onto our network yesterday afternoon, I was impressed with the quality of the laptop as well as the speed and the features that you get for a laptop with XP Professional SP3 running on it for under $700.

Very good laptop only thing that I had issues with is the USB ports are too close to each other. I am very satisfied with my new computer and shipping was very fast It was shipped to me at an APO address. I would recommend this laptop to anyone.

I bought this to replace my aging T60. So far I am bery impressed with it. Screen is great and all works fine. Touchpad seemed a bit touchie so I got a wireles mouse. Great so far!

Just bought that new computer for myself and seriously this is a great deal. Fast, good size screen and it weight is just perfect for moving it. I had difficulty with my old computer having a good connection wireless in my basement but with this one, haven't had any one.

I bought this laptop mainly because it's one of the few surviving units with XP. All I can say is you won't regret the choice. I love this machine! So quick and loaded with good equipment.

I bought this computer for my daughter who just turned 16. I was happy to see it preloaded with Windows XP. No Vista nightmares! So far it has worked like a dream. She loves it and has had no problems with any of her programs (iTunes, oovoo, etc...) Great value at a good price.

I booked the item on here and then i got it in 3 days and it was packaged really well. The computer,when i started working on it, i really felt happy with the ram and the battery life.. The computer works great and helps me run a lot of heavy applications...

First and foremost, it comes with XP Pro, not Vista! That's a good thing. The processor, RAM, and hard drive size make this a very useful machine. The display is bright and sharp, and the wireless seems to have no difficulty connecting. I haven't had an opportunity to burn any CDs or DVDs yet, but it's nice to have the capability. Overall, the quality level seems high. It's a solid machine, with a good feel to it. I cleaned out the ''junkware'' that was preinstalled (really, not all that much), and it's a very quick machine. I called customer service with a question shortly after I got it, and they were helpful, knowledgeable, and spoke American English! Good quality, good performance, good value and good support - what more can you ask?

My MacBookPro logic board died and I was left with a quick decision to make. Pay and wait to have it repaired or buy a temporary cheap laptop. The quality is very good. I didn't expect much on speed so it surprised me. So far I have only used Excel, Word, Firefox, and my online text book and class pages but It has performed well. It runs Vista as well as anything can run Vista. It does not come with the Vista software however, there is a design flaw. Maybe I am just spoiled with the Mac (which I will be getting fixed) but the USB ports are too close together to be usable. I can only use two on either side. One for my air card and the other for my wireless mouse. I have four flash drives and only one of them will fit next to the air card and the mouse. I also don't like the location of the USB ports. I think they are too far forward and should be located toward the back of the laptop. Other than that, I got a lot of bank for my $500. To repair the Mac it would have cost me over $700.
