The Drive preforms just fine, it does however feel pretty cheep and I did get rid of the packaged software and went with True Crypt software.

First of all its software encryption, so you would be far better off using a cheaper 16gb flash drive and true crypt. Second, the included encryption software limits vaults to 4gb FAT3 and requires admin rights to use. Third, there are no real instructions to solve common problems with the drive. IE, if you use run as admin to open an encrypted vault you won't be able to close and safely eject the volume because the program doesn't have permission to close itself. Only under a true admin account will it work properly. This is terrible because if you remove the drive without safely unmounting the vaults you risk unrecoverable data loss happened 3 times. Manufacturer does have online support, and they were quasi helpful. If you run task mgr as administrator you can force close the encryption software and safely eject the drive. Just too much work compared to other solutions. Quality is good, the drive snaps securly into place so you it won't fall off keys

This little JumpDrive keeps your private files secure with 256-bit AES encryption. Due to the 4G limit of FAT32, you will need to create more than one secure Vault for files if you want to use the entire 16 G. It works equally well with PC (XP, Vista or Win7), and Mac (Snow Leopard). The ONLY thing it lacks is the ability to open more than one vault while entering the password just once. This drive is small, fast and weighs almost nothing. I'm waiting for 32G to be available, and I'll buy another.
