Best for my keychain. I have had no problems with it because buying it. The twist and turn style of flash drive is really handy. I suppose that dust and debris could get into the usb stick given that there is no cap. I own 4 unique flash drives and this is by far my favored.

I personal two, and I have dropped them, washed them and they nonetheless keep on ticking. I have had them for about six months. Tranfer rates seem to be a bit slow but nothing at all unbearable.

It looks good and you can't shed the cap. Horrible. Started to randomly shed communication with computer systems after 2 weeks, and then the autoplay would come on and ask what it need to do with it, more than and more than. I formatted it, but complications continued. My five year-old flash drive has in no way had a challenge. I would return it, but only paid ฝ for it, so it's not worth my time. Don't acquire this.

Really nice design, looks and feels sturdy. The capless design and the way it flips out/stores is also cool (I have no notion why corporations nonetheless make, and men and women still buy, flash drives with a removable/losable cap).I'm not genuinely into MEASURING speeds, because I come across it difficult to believe that a second or two difference is Really going to matter, but I am properly satisfied that this drive reads/writes fast enough that I don't have time to assume about if it's "slow" or not. Lexar usually makes really excellent items, so I'm going to assume that I just got a negative unit. Soon after about two months, a problem began exactly where the drive would be auto-detected (the autoplay dialog would appear, as if I had removed and re-inserted the drive) about just about every 20-30 minutes or so, even if I wasn't even carrying out something on the laptop or computer at all. By the time I couldn't place up with it any longer and contacted Lexar for a replacement (for which I am still waiting and have because replaced the drive with one more manufacturer's product) it was not only carrying out that, and a lot more frequently, but it would from time to time just disappear altogether, or be all of a sudden detected as a "removable disc" which necessary formatting. Typically I had to insert-take away-insert a number of times for it to act right.Through out all this, it retained its sleek fantastic looks and cool twist-out capabilities! However, my Data (the Actual cause you purchase these points, proper?) was in constant peril. I am in the method of obtaining the drive replaced under warranty. I have no purpose to expect that I will have the identical situation, but I have to confess, it only requires after for a thing like this to take place for me to have much less self-confidence in a product like this. Even if the replacement does work fine when I get it, I doubt I will use it for my more critical stuff.And just in case any individual wonders, I did reformat the drive a few times (NTFS & FAT32, which produced no distinction), and I made certain to stop it before removing it and all that. I think I just got hold of a undesirable drive, that's all.
