AS1 Z520/1G/160G/11.6"/WHT

This is the perfect size netbook at 11.6", very nice display, great looking fit and finish of all parts, much nicer netbook than others I've seen. Battery life is amazing at over 5 hours with a bright display! The keyboard is taking a bit of time to get used to even tho it's full sized. It's too bad Acer chose to put a slower low end cpu and graphics in this netbook. I installed windows 7 on this machine with poor results. The Intel GM500 graphics lack the ability to run Windows 7 properly and cannot playback video very well which is a big dissapointment for me. I've tried various video drivers with no success. I installed a 2gb stick of ram to speed things up a little, a very easy modification. It would have been nice if Acer would have included Bluetooth and a Draft N wireless card in these netbooks. As soon as Acer brings out an 11.6" model with a faster cpu,Windows7 capable graphics, bluetooth and draft N this one will be replaced. This PC is great if you don't mind using the out dated Windows XP. I'm giving this PC 3 of 5 stars as it lacks up to date hardware that would make it a bit more versatile.
