This SSD offers great value. It shouldn't be much different from the 840 Pro (unless you're benchmarking or writing data to the drive). Make sure that you download and run Samsung SSD Performance Restoration to fix a bug that results in degraded read speeds over time. |

I just purchased the 120 to store my OS and a couple of games. Booting up magician immediately and seamlessly moves my OS straight from my HDD to the 840 EVO.After a couple of days I haven't had any issues what so ever. I guess only time will tell If these SSD's are durable and reliable. |

I have bought this and also the PRO version. These have got to be my favourite SSD's out there. They have great specs and reviews, and by personal experience, they have been great. They provide excellent boot drives, booting up Windows 8 in roughly 10 seconds. I used this is a budget build; it was the one thing I made sure to splurge a little extra money on since the difference is so huge.Has great software to easily optimize your system, run performance benchmarks and update the firmware. |

This puppy blazes! The magician software is great and increases performance even more. The little Asrock motherboard wouldn't let me upgrade the firmware, until I changed to IDE mode in bios and disabled trim. Just a minor procedure, but still a bit of a pain in the butt. |

This is my first SSD at home, however I experiment with many SSDs at work. Although I wanted to go with either Crucial or Intel at first because of their known reliability, I decided to give a go to Samsung. It seems to have a good reputation and has grow rapidly in the SSD area. I am not disappointed.While I love my Evo for the speed compared to my previous WD Black 500GB, I also love the technologies behind it. RAPID is awesome. I even bought more RAM to make sure I had enough room for RAPID.Read the reviews around the web. I can tell you however, that the Evo is a very good choice. I highly recommend it. |

Stuck it in a laptop. Now the laptop is totally silent. yayOne of the fastest SSDs in the 120 GB range, and usually fairly cheap. Longevity shouldn't be an issue with the intended demographic for this mainstream SSD. If you have legitimate reasons to be worried about a drive withstanding 75TB of writes (rated lifespan for this drive), don't be a cheapskate--get an 840 Pro or something else with high endurance NAND. |

And honestly, ncix is the best online web manufacturer in cases of compute parts in canada because i've made a lot of researchs on the price and franckly ncix is the real and only that does matter for the consumers period.Now, the site is telling me to write a book on my experience...well i don't know how to say more, the package and product were fine, i like their costumer services and rma effetiveness. plus the shipping inasurance is not too much dollars.
