nGear HDMI-DVI/D M/M HDMI to DVI-D
Cons:net jacket
Pros:LONG, net jacket Comment:
Worked great for connecting my computer to my tv. The net jacket is nice, but makes it a bit stiffer. I believe I got something longer than 6 feet, not that I minded, it worked out well for me. |

nGear HDMI-DVI/D M/M HDMI to DVI-D
Cons:doesn't make fun of monster cables
Pros:they do the job they are meant to do for a reasonable cost. Comment:
$150 for monster cable vs these $14 cables with no difference in picture quality. connected from PC to LCD TV. was using PC(DVI)to LCD-TV(VGA). Increased picture quality by 5 maybe 10% |

nGear HDMI-DVI/D M/M HDMI to DVI-D
Cons:-Not as good of picture compared to the VGA connection on my TV for some reason-Got the 15 foot version of the same cable
Pros:-It works..-Got the 15 foot version of the same cable-(Look at EDIT part of summary) Comment:
I bought this cable to hook up my PC to my TV quick and easily. I WAS using a DVI to VGA converter on my video card attached to a VGA-VGA cable hooked up to my TV. I thought having a straight DVI to HDMI would give a nicer picture, but infortunately for me it's actually quite a bit worse. I have to set the resolution higher and then on my TV I get it to adjust the screen to make it fuller. Still doest look quite as good...just a P.I.T.A if you ask me. The only thing better is the simplicity of the connection. Its easier to disconnect and reconnect the stuff...my old vga-vga chord's screws were incredibly tight. Overall, I'm not very impressed, but I'm going to stick with it anyways.Oh and I got the 15 foot version of this same cable which was kinda nice, tho at the same time it takes up extra space. It's mostly coiled up nect to my computer since my tv isnt very far away from my pc. Oh well, thanks anyways NCIX! This review was modfied by poster z 02-13-09 03:13 PMEDIT: Well I was finally able to make it look actually better than it did before. Took a long time to figure out the right settings on my TV and computer but let me tell you, this is definitely a better choice than just VGA-VGA connection. I'm a much happier person now that it's working like it should :D This review was modfied by poster c 02-25-09 12:27 PM This review was modfied by poster @ 02-25-09 12:55 PM |

nGear HDMI-DVI/D M/M HDMI to DVI-D
Cons:None that I can think of
Pros:Dirt cheap, fine quality Comment:
My plan was to connect an HTPC to a 37" LCD, but I wasn't sure if I wanted HDMI or VGA connections. These were cheap enough at NCIX that I could get BOTH shipped for less than ONE of them locally, without sacrificing quality! (For the record, so far I'm finding the VGA connection gives better image quality, especially for reading text.) |

Cons:One of the plastic protectors were broken, not a big deal
Pros:- Crisp Image- Well Built- Gold plated- Coiled cord for easy flexing- Makes a cheap lcd monitor beat an expensive hdtv in picture quality O.O- 220$ 22" 720p HDTV, Can't complain- Got the 15" version in my order O.O Comment:

Cons:kinda short
Pros:not bulky no adapter needed Comment:
This is a KICKASS product. Who needs to spend ridiculous amounts of money on a "monster cable". They are mostly all the same. This cable is extremely inexpensive and it does the job extraordinarily well. Using it from my xbox to my lcd monitor the picture is amazing. |

nGear HDMI-DVI/D M/M HDMI to DVI-D
Cons:None so far
Pros:Inexpensive Comment:
This is the most inexpensive cable I could find for DVI - HDMI connection. I read a write-up a while ago about how with digital signal the cable quality doesn't really matter, either it'll work or it won't, you don't have to worry about cheap cables giving a poorer picture. I hooked this up to my 57" TV and it works great. |

nGear HDMI-DVI/D M/M HDMI to DVI-D
Cons:none
Pros:Does its job Comment:
Bought this cable for my tv/computer and works great. No digital interference at all. Only cable I've seen that wouldn't cost me an arm. Don't know what else to say other than that. |

nGear HDMI-DVI/D M/M HDMI to DVI-D
Cons:none
Pros:Does the job, good looking Comment:
Bought the cable to hook up my PS3 on my Dell lcd. Price is decent even if cheaper cables arent impossible to come by (signal and image quality wont suffer from cheaper cables since it is digital, 0 or 1). Connectors are sturdy, the wire sheath looks good. Overall good quality, nice apperance (because its is so important that it looks good behind my desk xD). nGear HDMI-DVI/D M/M HDMI to DVI-D
Cons:None that I've noticed
Pros:+ Fantastic quality+ Cheap price Comment:
I bought this for my upconverting dvd player and have been very happy with it. I just bought a new HD PVR so I'll be back to buy another of these for it. |
Price matched down a few dollars, but is a great deal regardless. Other big box retailers wanted $70+ for essentially the same cord. With shipping this beat out the big box's big offer of a 4ft monster cable for $19.99 as it was about the same dollar figure and had 2 extra feet. In addition to that, I don't have to suffer the embarrasment of owning a product from Monster (couldn't explain that to anyone who knows the first thing about wiring). Would certainly feel like purchasing their products again in the future.
