nGear HDMI-DVI/D M/M HDMI to DVI-D
Cons:None
Pros:Cheap DVI -> HDMI cableDual link, although the resolution I'm using is easily within single link Comment:
This cable is perfect for connecting a video card to an HDTV. I've got it set up so that I can play movies and other content on my TV from my PC. The computer immediately recognizes the TV, and can output to it with no quality problems at all. |

nGear HDMI-DVI/D M/M HDMI to DVI-D
Cons:none
Pros:Price, quality Comment:
I Purchased this cable to carry the video signal between my shaw hd box and display. This cable replaced the component cable that came with the Shaw box. The color setup on my sony display is different when using the different cables and had to be re-calibrated. Overall, this cable is a bargain when compared to name brand cables. Edit: Also just picked up one of these cables to go between the htpc and tv and couldn't be happier with the pic quality! It makes my htpc look really high end.Spending big bucks on overhyped brand names is just a waste of coin. This review was modfied by poster @ 04-12-07 05:47 PM |

Cons:NA
Pros:Nice price, and in stock. Comment:
I have the following products, which I both like:- V7 32" LCD HDTV: it has a DVI input- Panasonic DVD-S52 DVD player: it has a HDMI outputI'd like to hook the HDMI output from the Panasonic to the DVI input of the V7. I already tried a cable from another computer store and got no video signal on the TV.My question: will this cable work any better for me? Why didn't the other cable work? The cable I got had a single link DVI (18-pins), and the TV I have has a dual link DVI input (24-pins) - could that be the reason I didn't get a video signal? Also, some places sell a single link DVI/HDMI cable and some sell dual link. This is all confusing. Thanks |
I got this cable to hook up my pc to a 52inch Sharp Aquos LCD and so far it works flawlessly. I can set the max resolution of 1080p and HD movies look great! Especialy StarWars episode 3 in 1080p! The cable actualy doesnt feel cheap IMO as someone previously stated. It's quite thick and has a nice "solid" feel to it.
