Ok, this is a simple unit with useful resolution, no fancy features or connectors. After buying a bigger and better unit with same name for the church, I have been pleased with the design and operation, so I bough this one for home. It is very portable and small. At this price, lcd or plasma TV looks silly. If anything happens, you have to ship a 5 lbs unit for service instead of 65 lbs display. And with long hours for life, it will ourlast the technology many times before something smaler better cheaper becomes available in a year or two. Great item, go for it, though at the time I am writing this review it is showing as not available. |

Audio was not working on my projector and also not working on it's replacement. I wasted many hours trying to solve this problem. Replacement has been sent to NEC for repair. |

I purchased this projector for business and have used it a few times already. The picture quality is great, crisp and clear. The fan is rather quiet. The one surprising thing I found was that even after 9 consecutive hours of use, the bulb area was not really that hot and took no time to cool down. I have yet to try this with my laptop and a movie but look forward to trying it out. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and would suggest it to others looking. |

WOW! What a great machine! It's the only projector I've ever used so I can't do a comparison, but I unpacked it, plugged in a DVD player, hooked up my computer speakers with subwoofer and watched a movie on my offwhite wall and thought I was in the theater. Took it to a friends house and patched it into his TIVO and watched playoff football on a 8-10 foot screen just above his 42 inch plasma that seemed too small to bother with. Tried it on my computer and had dual monitors going in no time. 40 degree keystone correction is great, and it's one of the cheaper bulbs to replace. Only have a couple weeks on it, but so far have no negatives. If you plan to use it in a room with lots of windows make sure you have curtains, but otherwise it is plenty bright enough for daylight viewing |

Pros: Projector works great. No problems so far. Connected to the Dell D600 and immediately started working at 1024 X 768 resolution. Cons: This one looks like a presentation projector. To get the maximum screen size, you need to move the projector about 39 ft (32 ft compared to another model) from the screen,which is not good for a small room. |
We bought it for presentations at our club. We would be using laptops and DVD players to present the topics are guests are talking about. We connected the projector to both and bingo ...........it worked great . My idea of a great product. The pictures are sharp and clear to boot, Thank you
