Does Not work with HP Pavillion DV9000 series notbooks. Ratings and adaptor are correct yet it just doesnt work with this model. Ive tried it on 3 seperate dv9000's and no go. FYI Works fine on a VIAO........................................................ |

didn't charge my laptop

I decided to try this for my inspiron 9400 Dell laptop. Well at first I was just fine with it. it was charging my laptop and was doing at it was expected. However, I plugged in my laptop that when it was off and then took the laptop away a day later and it wasn't charged. This adapter only works with my laptop when I am using the laptop, which I wouldn't have believed until I tested it out again. weird. However I don't mind too much, at least I have a second power adapter... one for work and one for home. |

Purchased this to replace my Asus P50IJ power adapter that died. This item comes with 8 adapters for all sorts of laptops which is excellent if I ever change my laptop. Runs cool and I have had no problems. The only con is the power chord is very short, with my Asus I could go from my laptop to the outlet, but with this adapter I have to use an extension chord (laptop in same location for both). I would say the power chord from tip to tip is about 5 feet long.
