This drive is pretty quickly. I installed it, and things do fly. Specs on paper look nice with sandforce/read and create 1. They stiffed me on the rebate. Would not let me apply for the rebate (OCZ provide was missing for those dates.)two. Drive seems to be slower in usage than my Intel 80gb X-25MG2 even although specs are greater. I get a WEI drive score of 7.4 with this drive 7.7 with intel. slim, quiet, low energy consumption Price tag and size. Don't purchase this drive for Win7 as an Operating System only drive. Losing one particular egg right here due to the fact the price and size don't equal the speed and energy advantages over standard HDD. By the time I had Win7 and all my drivers for MB and GPU plus workplace 2010 I had applied 30GB of the 55 usable. So any additional programs will make space dissapear promptly. Then add Itunes and perhaps two other applications and you are done even if all your files are on a diverse drive. |

Inexpensive, silent, rapid. tested with different applications and the average read speed was anyplace from 185-250. Amazing drive for an OS. I boot my OS significantly quicker now. Programs are opened much more rapidly. the supplied three.five conversion cage would not match appropriately into my hot swap style drive bay. Rather I applied screws to secure it in location. I wont be hotswaping in so its not a true con. Fastest drive I ever utilized in a laptop. Fantastic functionality boost and worth the upgrade. Each and every program starts in a snap. Straightforward set up. Rapidly drive, when it works. Packaged effectively. Good that it contains three.five" adapter kit and all mounting hardware. Apps launch extremely rapidly and Windows 7 boots in about 20 sec. Photoshop launches and loads a 20MB image in about 5 sec. Failure rate waaaaaaaaay too high. I've purchased four of these and 2 of them have died inside a couple of weeks. Of course, the dead ones had been both configured as C: drive on Windows 7, so I had to go through a time-consuming restore, which far outweighed (negatively) the advantage of more quickly app launch time. I'm amused by this sticker that comes with the SSD. The sticker says, "My SSD is more rapidly than your HDD." Possibly, but reliability beats efficiency any day in my book. The drive itself is genuinely very good. Incredibly rapidly and has low power consumption. I'm working with it in an Atom primarily based server that I built and the whole machine pulls 20-25 watts. Don't even waste your time with OCZ's rebates. You have to postmark inside 21 days which is absurd (most rebates are at least 30 days or unlimited). Also their website to fill out the rebate kind is confusing and was broken the initially two times I attempted to use it.I wanted to wait to cut up the UPC from the box to make confident the drive was performing in case I had to return it. I put the kind in the mailbox on the 21st day but I guess I missed the postman. What a complete waste of time and cash. If you're preparing on getting an OCZ drive then don't count on the rebate as part of the price. That makes these drives a lot a lot more high priced than they would appear, and I wouldn't have chosen this drive if I knew the rebate would have been denied. This was my first SSD. Got it on black friday with an great deal. OCZ forums are packed full of information on new firmware, how to operate with your new SSD, and anything else an enthusiast could want. Running Windows 7 every little thing is blazing quickly. Applications load more rapidly, Windows boots in beneath 25 seconds from POST. The mount it came in didn't fit exactly in my CM 690II advanced case, it has a slight bow to it. The SATA connector doesn't have a "snap" for SATA cables to clip in place on the drive. |

Only when the SSD was operating !) the original SSD only worked for 9 months, then the replacement ssd worked even less, 2 months.2) The original SSD with formatted capacity 60g but the replacement SSD with 55g formatted capacity.three) The original SSD model is serial two and the replacement model is agility two.4)The first RMA expense me 9$ for shipping back to OCZ. Now the second RMA would expense me the same quantity to ship it back. It price me about 160$ for this unreliable 60g SSD. With this amount now I need to get a 120g SSD. extremely rapid installs, boots, and shuts down in the blink of an eye. 1 of my drives came as a 55g... wich is pretty disapointing i will most likely be rma ing that drive. fast but if your like me you want what you paid for i took off one egg since of the lag of five gigs im assuming it was already sent back they disabled the 5 gigs bring about it wasnt functioning effectively that becoming mentioned im rmaing to get the full amout of space. |

I have this monster in an i7 gaming rig with all high quality components. But when I added this, functionality became quickly noticable more than any hard drive on the market place. Does not sweat or get tired, it is speedy all the way !!! The only large CON is with the horrible OCZ rebate.I purchased this with a rebate, I did anything that was asked by OCZ. Ocz sent me an e-mail that they received the rebate and that was about 10 weeks ago. and until now I haven't get what "they claim" to be a "rebate" My subsequent SSD is most probably from Intel or corsair where customer service is far greater than I have noticed so far from OCZ !!! Incredibly Extremely quickly compared to any platter based drive I've ever utilized. 14 second bootup, and every thing is very responsive. Relatively strong construction.Minimal (but more than adequate) packaging (all accessories integrated). More affordable to ship, much easier to unbox, less to throw away. Lack of a mini USB connection, but if you're preparing on working with this internally it's not a big deal. I've got an HDD dock if I need it anyway. Not as significantly throughput as my RAID Ư array of 6x 2TB Samsung Spinpoint F4's, but it's not fair to compare a single drive to an array of drives. Non-existent seek instances are quite nice, but that comes with any SSD.I'm employing this in my ASUS 101MT netvertible, and I adore it. Hopefully the drive doesn't die on me (as various reviewers have had concerns with), but if it does I don't have something essential on it anyway. Every little thing is great so far! |

Super fast boot and application launch occasions. Following Ӱ months, one day the OS would not boot. No amount of disk scanning or OS repair would bring it back. Tried loading a backup and then a fresh reload of Win7 to no avail.OCZ replaced the drive below warranty (new drive, no complaints there) but honestly, I don't know if I trust it now. I was hoping this technologies had matured but my case is not distinctive, a number of people have had failures soon after a handful of months of use. Appears to be very good excellent, high end package and extras. Took it because of very good price after mail in rebate supply.But the mail in type at OCZ net did not work. Did not find my right invoice #. So time to type in adress and so on was wasted. Only support from OCZ was to use Internet Explorer newer than 5.five - My IE is newer, that does not aid at all. So significantly better than a common HDD.Increases speed by 200%.Decreases boot time by 86%.No moving parts.Utilizes significantly less power.Comes with a sticker/decal. With Firmware 1.25 installed, the temperature fluctuates at 58C, 32C, and 1C. Its typically 1C.With Firmware 1.28 installed, the temperature stays continuous at 30C. I do not trust any of these readings. I upgraded a WD2500BEKT on my HP DV3T. HD Tune clocks it at 55MB/s and the Agility two at 160MB/s. My boot time went from 7 minutes to 1 minute. That is when my CPU usage stays beneath 15% for 5 seconds. |

Really happy with the functionality of the sdd, On older driver you have to click wait a tenth of a second for my computer system or going via c drive on the sdd drives you don't have to wait that second and installing is amazingly quicker expensive for the low quantity of hd spacequick tends to make up for it though i purchased two and stripped raided it which operates really effectively for improving the efficiency on it |

quick if it worked dies and no ability to recover any information. A really costly lesson. I have had quite a few ocz vertex and intel x-25 and none o fthem failed. wonderful boot time on windows 7 ultimate 64bit, with 4gb ram. requires about 20 seconds too boot. doesnt look to have that fast of a transfer price perhaps about 50mbs not 275 nevertheless is more quickly than what i had and good boot time so nonetheless good. |
It started out wonderful. In the bios utilizing the default settings and enabling the speed. It shows up as 1600, BUT when you appear at the ControlCenterII within MSI window is shows it at 1333. I am GOING to RMA this back.... I wouldnt get this product again or reccomend to everyone. DONT Buy IT!
