Pros: - Improvement of PX-100 v1 design- Looks more durable than the v1- Sound is great for the price- Less bass than the v1- Nylon pouch instead of huge useless case of the v1 Comment:
Obviously I had the px100-v1 before and compared to them it's a great improvement: a single cable instead of 2 that were always getting twisted, they improved (lowered) the bass throughput of the v1 which is great and they replaced the useless box that came with the v1 for a nylon pouch that is quite usable.All-in-all it's a great purchase and replacement for the v1 eventhough the price is around the double and the sound quality hasn't incredibly improved. |

Have the PX100 and my brother was using it more and more, so I decided to get the PX100-II. Sounds just as good. I really like the single cord configuration. |
Pros:Similar sound quality to the original and other similarly priced headphones (unfortunately could not compare the two models side by side as my PX100's are broken)comfortable for long periods of use, band adjusts to large heads and has a low profile (doesn't stick out like some headphones)One sided chord as apposed to the original's two chord system also chord is an appropriate length for mp3 player/laptop useConsSennheiser decided not to include the plastic storage case and the PX100 II do not fit into the original case which is disappointing as I found it useful and easy to use.Audio connector looks to be similar in strength to the original (time will tell if this is true)Also they arn't sound isolating at all which can be a good or bad thing depending on your personal preference.____________________________________________________________Bottom line: Excellent headphones for the price ($100 ATM) however probably not worth upgrading from the older version (if you have them) since they seem to be functionally the same except for some cosmetic updates and the chord design This review was modfied by poster @ 04-02-11 09:43 PM
