Cons: High lift off distancelower perfect control

Pros: -High quality parts-Buttons feel great-Great tracking
Comment:
This makes my deathadder 2013 feel so cheap. It's tracking feels more accurate than the deathadder especially at 1000hz. Only reason I still use the deathadder is cause it can handle my low sensitivity better because it does not malfunction as fast as the savu in fast swipes. For $29 this is the best mouse you can get period.

Great mouse for $30 to replace my old Razer Copperhead. For the drivers,Be sure to turn off your the trophy sound notifications in the drivers software for the Savu because it has a loud alert when achieve the mouse awards such as how many meters you've moved or clicked.

Cons: - A bit on the small side (smaller than a DeathAdder)

Pros: - Solid build quality- Braided cable- Very responsive clicks- Wheel has very good tactile feedback
Comment:
I had been using my DeathAdder for about 4 years and it was a great fit but it had some problems.During long periods of usage, the side thumb grips would become uncomfortably sweaty. The Savu has a matte plastic finish on the top and a slight "sandpaper" texture on the sides. Your hand won't slip and it never gets uncomfortable during extended periods of gaming.I hated the two actual mouse buttons on the DeathAdder. It was like there was so much distance that the left- or right-clicks had to go before you register a click. When I played CS and used a pistol with a high fire-rate, like the Dual Elites, I could never shoot that fast with them. With the Savu, the distance the mouse has to travel is very similar to the travel distance on the MX518. It feels like once you put some pressure, the click is registered. Much better than the DeathAdder in that regard. The mouse wheel on my DeathAdder was the one that lit up blue periodically. It was pretty good, but three things happened. First, you could see the dirt accumulate inside the little grooves on the wheel. Be careful if you're not the only one using your comp. Make sure people wash their hands beforehand. The second thing is that the wheel became crooked. It was no longer perfectly straight and aligned with the rest of the mouse. It sort of angled itself to the right, from all the times I used my index finger to control the wheel. The third thing was that after a while, the DeathAdder lost it's tactile feedback and it became much easier to scroll the wheel. This caused a lot of messed up weapon changes. With the Savu, all of these are eliminated. The wheel is black and you won't see it get dirty and brown over time. Secondly, there is literally no room for the wheel to move laterally. The DeathAdder had a big space between the wheel and the actual mouse body on either side. The Savu has maybe 1mm of space between the wheel and body. No moving here. Lastly, the Savu's wheel is much more tactile than the DeathAdder and hasn't let down since I got it about 6 months ago. It's still just as accurate, tactile, and responsive as it was out of the box. Both the Razer and Roccat drivers are good; no problems here. Both are also very accurate, the 1800dpi Infrared DeathAdder and the 4000dpi Optical Savu.I just didn't want to buy another DeathAdder and have it die later on. For the price you pay, it should be MUCH more reliable than those older optical mice like the MS IntelliMouse or the MX518.The only downside to the Savu is it's size. The DeathAdder was a perfect fit for my hand and the Savu is noticeably smaller than the DeathAdder. It definitely takes some getting used to if you're used to big mice but you will adjust quickly. If the Savu was a big bigger in size, I would say it's the perfect mouse. Everything else is outstanding.

Pros: Precise movementsGreat customizationGood software packageComfortable to use
Comment:
Got this mouse on sale for 1/2 price after x-mas. Best purchase I could have made. I have always been a picky person when it came to mice. Have 3 new ones sitting in my closet due to them not living up to my expectations. The Savu blew my expectations away. Very smooth movements with great customization features, such as color bar, multiple adjustments for every possible axis. Neat little app that counts your clicks and movement in meters. The thumb rest is perfect and makes using the mouse very comfortable for me (right handed) It took some getting used to the more precise movements over my old mouse but once you get used to a quality gaming mouse over a cheap desktop wireless there us no going back. One word for you, need a mouse and this is on sale, "buy it" you wont regret it.

Bought this for office usage. Never planned on liking it a whole lot. Is a delightful retreat from the usual garbage mice out there. FINALLY I've found a current replacement for my MX510's and MX518's that I've used (and have begun buying used!) since 2004.If you can get this on sale for $29 like I did - buy two or three like I did! If you like the MX518's fit, just with a slightly different "feel" to it.Highly recommended - even at the $69 price point if it doesn't bother you.

Cons: "Easy Shift" key is on Browser-Back by default, slight annoyance.

Pros: Shape/size good for claw grip; smooth gliding; clean design; sturdy construction; non-garish LED.
Comment:
Got this mouse on sale for $29.99. Very impressed! Coming from a Logitech MX518, it feels very familiar. It has a matte plastic surface, which is great for lower maintenance. Size and shape are well suited for claw grip twitch movement with my smaller hands. Instant transition of reflexes.

i love this mouse. i didn't do too much research on it before i bought it, i watched linus' video about it, looked at a couple of reviews online and saw that its price had dropped $50, so i took the risk and bought it. i think its worth $30, i probably wouldn't buy it for more. its overall a really good mouse, its comfortable and its not too big or small, it is mid-sized.

Got this one for 30$+tax on sale. This one can be comparable with Razer Dead Adder:-little bit smaller size than Dead Adder so it fits my hand than Dead Adder-little bit lighter than Dead Adder-sweat resistance, good for people with sweaty hand.

Cons: Auto-switching of profiles does not seem to work for some games.

Pros: Feels great and the light is cool. Easy shift is a pretty cool idea.
Comment:
This is a great simple gaming mouse. It doesn't have 20 extra buttons that just get in the way of every day computer use. But you can still set special functions via the Easy-Shift feature. With Easy-Shift, each button on the mouse (including the scroll wheel) can be set to do 2 different things. The auto profile switching is great when it works. Having it automatically switch to an Easy-Shift profile when I start a game and then back to a basic profile when I exit or tab out to windows is great. This way I can have the thumb buttons work as forward and back like most other mice, but also have Easy-Shift functionality when I need it for games.Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to work for all games. I tried to use it with World of Warcraft, but the software doesn't recognize that WoW has focus when I start it. It still thinks I'm in Windows and so is set to my default Windows Profile. It's a real bummer because I really like this mouse, but I may have to look for an alternative mouse because of this. It works for the other games I've tested though.Roccat customer service is great. They got back to me really quickly when I sent them a message for assistance. They couldn't help me solve the problem, but they tried. Response was pretty quick. That's worth something to me.If you're looking for a good entry-level gaming mouse that you want to be functional and comfortable for every-day desktop use as well, this is a good choice. But be warned that if you depend on Profile auto-switching, there may be issues here.Oh and the trophy/achievement system they have is kind of dumb and pointless... but it's fun.I may need to look for an alternative mouse for my needs, but I'll likely keep this one around for a backup.Note that I got this for $40. That's about right. The regular price of $79.99 is too high. If you're interested in this mouse, buy it on sale.
