Cons: - Big and ugly (though perfectly hidden at the back of PC - just make sure you have lots of room at the back and no wall)- Does not come with a extension/stand like other brands

Pros: - Cheap 802.11n wireless key- Easy setup; modern basic encryption
Comment:
I just use for basic wireless needs but works well with gaming, cerfing, downloads, and Netflix. No hiccups (so far) and at $8, I can't really complain (better than paying $25+ at big boxes). This review was modfied by poster @ 06-26-12 10:10 PM

Cons: None so far

Pros: Great price, works as advertised. Easy setup
Comment:
Bought this for an old desktop along with Valet by Cisco M10 Router. Together, both works perfectly. No problem so far with this adapter but will see if connection stays good for a long time as computer and router are 2 chamber apart! Still, signal seems good. I recommand it for casual wireless internet!

Cons: On an older Dell Dimension it won't configure with Windows client, demands realtek utility.

Pros: Easy to use, reception is fairly good.
Comment:
Bought two to make moving old junkers easier. They work OK, not great, sometimes dropping. Not pretty. Works fine on a Compaq DX2300, but on Dimension 2400 it would not accept Windows Utility for connecting, no idea why. Also on the old dimension, any other USB device connected would cause it to drop, I guess power consumption?

Pros: works well so farCheap
Comment:
I have been playing with this wireless adapter its based on the realtek RTL8191SU chip I downloaded the drivers from realteks web site and installed the driver manually as I don't have any uses for the extra monitoring software that comes with it I am running Windows 7 64-bit and Windows update  has a driver for this wireless USB stick but it is quite old.so far I haven't had any problems with this wireless N USB stick probably in part due to the fact that I downloaded the newest drivers from Realtek's websiteI did some testing by transferring 4.3 GB of data over the network from a wired PC to my laptop in the other room it was transferring approximately 6 to 8 MB a second and finished in approximately 10 min I did the test twice we also have 8 to 10 other wireless networks from neighbors in the area.the USB stick was a little warm after this test so I would definitely make sure the USB stick doesn't get covered by clothing as it would probably overheat and die. This test was done using an older 150 Mbit Dynax wireless N router I hacked with DD WRT firmware as the original firmware was useless.I was kind of surprised how large the unit was the unit is made out of a dark almost black clear plastic and you can see when you hold it up to light that the circuit board PCB only occupies half the plastic casing so this unit could be half of its original size easily I don't know why they made the plastic double the original size of the PCB? really it doesn't matter as a circuit board is too wide to be able to connect anything to the USB port beside it I have a USB extension cable that came with an MP3 player that works great as you can move it for better signal reception and you don't block any USB ports. NCIX sells a 6 foot extension cable sku 70342 that I would recommend if you don't have an USB extension cable.overall for the price I paid for this I'm pretty impressed.the only thing that would make this better at this price point is to include a USB extension cable.

Cons: It's Ugly

Pros: Price, Functionality
Comment:
Bought this for someone who needed wireless internet for their PC. Cheaper than most other USB dongles, and easier for me to install than any non-USB dongles obviously. Seems to work great. Not the most attractive solution that I've seen, but does the job.

Cons: A bit big compared to my Cisco/Linksys adapter

Pros: Really cheap, strong reception, two LEDs showing power/activity, very easy to set up
Comment:
Part of a $20 bundle with the 300N router.Gets a much stronger signal than my $10 adapter on my Patriot Box Office. Connects flawlessly to my 802.11G router, and it's also great on the Retail Plus N router.Nothing bad to say about it. Time will tell if it's good quality, but at this price one can purchase several for the same price as leading brand names.

Cons: ...but not compatible to our b/g router with WEP

Pros: Great price. Work with our new N router with WPA2.
Comment:
According to the box, this USB wifi adapter should be backward compatible to b/g. It took me a whole day of trial & error before I realize that this adapter is actually not backward compatible to our b/g router with WEP. Except for this USB wifi adapter.....all our laptops, netbooks, tablet PCs have absolutely no problem connecting to our existing b/g router. Yes, it will work with our new N router with WPA2, but we are unable to get it working with our b/g router with WEP.
