Currently have it hooked up wired all the time, but also performs wonderful with out USB connection. Only up to perhaps 1600, feels lower on Bluetooth. Smaller sized, so large-handed individuals will have trouble controlling movement, especially on higher DPI levels. USB connector so short it demands extender (ũ at Shop-Which-Shall-Not-Be-Named).

Wirless, wired, tiny, dpi, appears cool. Cord lenght, not ergonomic design and style, no drivers in box. My little finger feel a tiny unconfortable (maybe whit the time it really feel much better) And the Razersupport site is down, so no drivers yet. four stars. Also the cord leght is as well brief, i have to use a USB extention :(, (im in Computer, not laptop)I use Finger Grip so the size is ideal, im averge five.eight" guy, whit typical hands. i want ill be additional ergonomic, but its suppose to be proper-left hand.Cheers!

Flawless wired/wireless transitions, turns energy off while in wired mode (doesn't use battery even though plugged in), can even use devoid of batteries (wired only of course), appears wonderful!, acceptably (surprisingly) comfortable for a notebook mouse, enormous fan of the Huge teflon pads at each corner (I know they produced a mat to go with the Orochi, but if you're actually making use of it for a mobile mouse you may not usually have a good desk/flat surface to place a pad on, so it's good to know the feet'll last for awhile on much less than excellent surfaces). I haven't noticed any "finicky" issues with the sensor like I had knowledgeable with my Lachesis, it tracks amazingly well on substandard surfaces (the Lachesis Needs a top quality difficult pad...) and my all-time gaming mouse requirement - firm tactile feedback on the primary mouse buttons. I don't know about anyone else, but I hate squishy buttons, so this is a welcome design and style decision. Truly, it fits perfectly into the function it was developed for in my opinion. Properly, you must fully grasp that this IS a mobile mouse - it's tiny for a gaming mouse...but that's sort of its principal part...so don't let that surprise you (the razerzone site shows size comparisons to give you an notion). Also, I can't actually think about this would be anybody's major/only (gaming) mouse, so it tends to make for an high priced secondary mouse. My only individual "con" is the selection to have the glossy sides - I comprehend you wouldn't want rubber/sticky surfaces close to the surface/pad to prevent grabbing the pad/surface, but c'mon - it's a little mouse, you'll grip it largely by the sides by design and style (at least I do), it's annoying to have your grip slide when lifting or reorienting the mouse. I know it looks great, but please consist of at least a small area to grip on the sides other than the buttons... The leading of the mouse is attached by magnets, you just pull the rubber coated portion straight up off the body of the mouse, and the batteries are right there. Threw me off at initially, thought I broke it :) Performs far better than I thought even though. All round, a excellent product for its intended marketplace, "especially" for dual wired/wireless functions (keep in mind, mainly because of the bluetooth, the sensor is limited in DPI and polling rate when in wireless mode). Say what you want, but I personally really like the aesthetics of Razer mice and peripherals, and this one is surely a looker. Fantastic job Razer, I enjoy having options, so retain expanding your solution line!(I purchased my Orochi from a various web site, they've been challenging to discover in stock anyplace, so pleased to see them ultimately listed on Newegg - just so you know, I didn't get mine from right here, even though I would have in an immediate if they had been available - superior rates and shipping from the Egg in most situations!)

Nice mouse in Wired Mode. In wireless (bluetooth) mode this mouse is useless. It goes to sleep with only ten seconds of non-use (which occurs constantly), and takes 3 to 5 seconds to wake up from sleep. Wireless mode will drive you out of your thoughts. If you want a wireless mouse, keep away from this one. If you want a wired mouse, this is a really good mouse.

Great battery life.Bluetooth.Syncs effortlessly.Eye catching design.High good quality back-up USB connection. I'm a bit disappointing that the only way to access the batteries is to remove the complete leading of the mouse which feels really fragile. Additionally, the previously pointed out "lid" unsnaps with relative ease. For instance, on a single occasion I failed to use the mouse case that comes packaged and just opted to throw the mouse in my laptop bag. Upon removing the mouse from the bag, the rear lip of the mouse caught some material of my bag and popped the top rated of the mouse off and was nearly stepped on by a co-worker.I use the mouse case from now on. Still has impressive design and style, functionality, and looks. Nothing at all else like it in its class so far.

I was hesitant at very first to get this mouse but then I figured hey, why not give it a shot? I am now absolutely spoiled and will use no other mouse. The ergonomics are nonetheless superior than most mice out there, despite becoming both-handed and why would you not use it wired for gaming? I've used it on the go by means of bluetooth or wired and it's just as wonderful parked at residence on games. The cord is also effectively made in that it very rarely causes hang-ups. The difference gaming (to be fair, I was coming from utilizing a Dell bluetooth travel mouse) was enormous. I haven't utilised any other Razer mice so I can't evaluate it to that even though. Side button placement is a bit annoying if you in fact want to use the side buttons. YMMV. As opposed to what you may think, the matte black top rated does not choose up slime. As a criminal pizza-eating computer user, I ought to know. Some people assume this mouse is modest. My hands aren't as tiny as some female hands, but they're also not that huge. I wouldn't advise it for everyday use if you've got large hands, but I believe it would nevertheless function as a travel mouse.I have noticed no slippage on the sides even although they really feel slippery (but then once more, I commonly put two and 4 on the mouse buttons, 3 on the wheel, and have thumb and pinky draping the sides. If I had to use it with just a single-two-three, I believe it would annoy me).

-Bluetooth-On-board memory-Wired and wireless possibilities-Cool seeking -Slight lag time whilst in wireless.-Uncomfortable I truly wanted to like this mouse. I've been looking for awhile to find a bluetooth a single for my macbook pro. I've usually utilized Logitech mice in the previous, but their bluetooth ones are just hideous. At present I'm working with the MX Nano and MX Revolution, each have outstanding ergonomics. I loved how this didn't take up a USB port, but the lag time was slightly annoying and perhaps it was just mine but it seemed spastic. By that I imply my logitech mice have a nice flow to them although the Razer seemed to break connection each handful of seconds. On a side note, I'm a rather petite female and I put on a ring on my right hand. I'm ambidextrous and for my left hand, it was fine but due to the fact there's a button on the suitable side of the mouse (which I never applied for something mainly because it's so uncomfortable to click), my ring was ridiculously uncomfortable resting on that button. Not a big problem if you don't wear rings.

This is an great notebook mouse. Plugged in, it is extremely responsive. The further mouse buttons perform effectively. Bluetooth works effectively. Overall, it is one particular fantastic looking mouse. The only issue I have with this mouse is how quick it puts itself to sleep when wireless. It has to be only a couple of seconds. This is incredibly bad for gaming as there is a extremely noticeable jerk. I hardly use wireless although, but it is something to look out for.

Fantastic ergonomic design, and fits in the hand effectively. Button sensitivity is amazing. Very transportable with the case incorporated. Fantastic on battery life. This is strictly for me personally, but the tracking speed buttons on the right outside side of the mouse are exactly exactly where I place my pinky when I'm playing games. Difficulty getting, at times the tracking speed would adjust at the worst attainable moment.Other than that, it truly is a excellent mouse, I just can't game with it, which signifies I paid nearly 70 bucks for a mouse that I can't really use. i like this mouse since it runs on bluetooth and doesnt need a receiver. the mouse performs very effectively and feels comfy in the hand. The most annoying issue is that the programmable buttons, that can be programmed to practically any command, only operate if you have have connected via the usb cable. this is a severe flaw for me, considering that i nearly in no way use the usb cable. it is a little high-priced due to the fact it is a gaming mouse, i would possibly not recommend this mouse if you program to mainly use it with out the usb cable.

This mouse is close to great even though wired. The response is extraordinary and the programmable buttons are a good function. It is really smooth on the pad and it appear good. Newegg shipping was as usual awesome. I got this child in three days. Regardless of the fantastic capabilities I can't ignore that the bad functions that I found outweigh the Fantastic ones. 1st of all are the size and weight. This mouse is incredibly smaller. It is comparable in size to the Logitech M505. My hands are not what I can call small, thus utilizing it will take some finding utilised to it. The left and suitable buttons are easy to reach, but pressing the four side buttons ( Two on each and every side) is almost not possible devoid of taking your hand just about fully off of the mouse. The mouse could be a bit heavier also. Third, the lagging is driving me crazy. I know that this is an issue with Bluetooth but come on, this is annoying. It requires approx 4 seconds of idle to send this child into sleep mode. According to Razer, this feature Ƙms response time) was developed to conserved battery and is not adjustable in any way. I rather change the battery regularly in exchange for overall performance while wireless. I researched two other gaming mouse prior of ordering the Orochio. The initial a single was the Microsoft Sidewinder X8 and the Razer Mamba. The sidewinder was my very first choice. It was huge with lots of characteristics. The price tag was also suitable for the form of mouse. The Razer Mamba is also a complete size mouse but it has a hefty price tag tag. Both the mamba and the sidewinder have a major flaw in my book and that is that they each will need the charging units to be connected to the Pc as they also function as the wireless receivers. The Sidewinder and Mamba had been clearly created for desktop laptop. It's kind of dumb to have a wireless mouse that want the charging units to be connected. What were they pondering?I decided to keep the Orochio since shipping plus and re-stocking fee will take a big chunk of the refund and general it works wonderful while wired. I will consider the mamba or sidewinder for my desktop. They are both good and potent mouse, in spite of the receivers.

This mouse has been ideal. I was originally hesitant due to the fact several of the evaluation cited problems, and simply because I have quite large hands. I required a portable bluetooth mouse that could also do some gaming as I'm on the road a lot. I couldn't be more impressed. The mouse looks and feels fantastic even in my big hands. The scroll wheel is the finest I've had in a long time, and has a genuine locking really feel when scrolling (I hate those freewheeling ones). The mouse sleeping has not been an challenge at all for me, and I never ever genuinely notice it taking any time to register. Also, the battery life is insane. I've applied this mouse every single day for a month and haven't had to alter them when, and I only plug it in when I'm undertaking serious fps which hasn't been that usually lately. As lengthy as you know what you're obtaining into i.e. smaller mouse developed for bluetooth functionality, there will be none. If you can afford it, and want a bluetooth mouse, this is the 1. Also I know it's been mentioned in other critiques, and I didn't significantly care, but the packaging is suprisingly great. Definitely that doesn't matter at all for functionality but just a cool bonus. The little carry case that it comes with is very handy as well.

While not a full blown gaming mouse, the Orochi handles exceptionally effectively and can be configured to be dead correct. I like the weight too, the mouse has a nice heft to it. Makes a killer mouse for work, I can have a Razer at my desk for accuracy but can disconnect it for bluetooth connectivity in meetings. Cost. It's not a committed gaming mouse like the Lachesis or DeathAdder. Alternatively, it's a truly cool hybrid among a gaming mouse and a transportable travel mouse.

- Fits my hand perfectly- Lightweight- No usb dongle necessary- Higher DPI - Low battery life due to the fact bluetooth is a battery sucking technology I purchased this for my new Sony Vaio E series so that I could hold my USB slots open. This works wonderful and had no problems connecting to my laptop. I come across I don't often use the supplied cable for creating it wired because even unwired I can nonetheless do quite well in MW2 because the input lag isn't too poor.

It is pretty comfy, effortless to use and the wired connection makes it great for games. The middle mouse button scrolls and clicks down, but not side to side.It picks up a lot of dirt.Bluetooth is practical but the sleeping immediately after 1 second factor makes it not possible to use for something but net browsing in the wireless mode. Acquire it if you want a higher overall performance notebook mouse.

Modest - Responsive - Comfortable - Good Software See Other This mouse is absolute perfection if you want a mobile BT mouse that doubles as a gaming mouse. The software that comes with it is great, and updating Firmware is a breeze. The only downside is that I had to get the computer software from Razers internet site, as it was not provided with the mouse, but that isn't actually a challenge. While plugged in, the mouse is ultra responsive, comfortable to use, and operates excellent for gaming. In BT mode if you don't make any movement with the mouse you get a delay when employing it, although in spite of what I study in reviews, the delay is incredibly tiny, and practically not noticeable.Sadly it doesn't have rechargeable batteries, so when plugged in it doesn't charge, which would take this mouse more than the leading. When plugged in although it doesn't waste any battery energy, so if you're truly gaming with this mouse it's just as simple to plug it in, and you don't have to be concerned about batteries or a delay. All round this is an remarkable mouse, and I would propose it to anybody.

>Alright, lemme first commence out by saying Razer builds each good quality solutions and this is a single of them.>It's sleek design and style is symmetrical, which indicates you can play for hours on end, no matter which hand you click with.>The high DPI and polling are exceptional for high finish gamers.> Wired mode / Wireless mode - each interchangeable. > Comes excellently packed when shipped> Cool stickers / CoA / and so on... (might be essential to some)> Carrying case / batteries supplied > I don't know if you would contact this a con, but I purchased this mouse simply because I have a extremely smaller hand. I commonly tend to look for smaller sized mice. However, this was terribly uncomfortable due to its tiny size. I strongly recommend going with a diverse mouse if you're NOT a fingertip gamer, but looking for a smaller mouse.> I can't call this a con b/c it's advertised as a laptop gaming mouse, on the other hand - my use was intended for a desktop - so, the cord (although it may well be braided) is at max 2 feet extended - it barely reached the corner of my desk w/ the tower on floor in wired mode. > I did see that lag, in wireless mode. that you can appear up on youtube.com and so forth, but it wasn't adequate to effect my game play, as I was using it especially for WoW. I don't recommend it for high-speed games, such as CS or BF as that lag does mess with you. The mouse is created to go into a "sleep" mode when not in use to save battery power for wireless mode. The only challenge is (see other thoughts Razer created it to go into this mode two seconds immediately after you cease moving / clicking. So if you're reading an objective in-game / an article online / facebook / watching a youtube clip, etc - and quit making use of the mouse for a handful of seconds to look on screen - you will see the lag i'm speaking about.> Another factor I'd like to mention is that this mouse functions w/ BLUETOOTH in wireless mode. my desktop was constructed in གྷ and I didn't place a bluetooth adapter in it, so I had to go pick one particular up for 20 bucks - so keep in mind, if its for desktop use - make positive you have this commodity (even verify your laptop for BT Capability)
