A little info about this before anyone buys this. The Goliathus Speed Edition and Control edition are totally different mousepads other than the neat artwork done on it.I would recommend this to any gamer who plays a ton of FPS gaming like BattleField 3 and the control edition for sniping. Sniping is kind of difficult on this mousepad, would recommend getting the control edition if you had to decide between the two. |

I needed a bigger pad to replace a hard surface one I had so I went for this one. I prefer soft pads because hard ones were wearing down the mouse feet too quickly. Both my Logitech G7 and Razer Lachesis glides very smoothly on the surface however the Lachesis does not work properly with it. The mouse cursor randomly jumps to the edges of the screens frequently.After numerous emails to Razer Support, we've determined that the Lachesis' sensor has a hard time tracking the surface due to the material they used. It however works fine with other soft mats, just not the Goliathus. The recommended pad for the Lachesis is actually the Destructor, a hard pad. |
I enjoy using this mouse pad while it lasted. I like the artwork design on the pad and the speed quality from it, as it help me improve in FPS. The only downside to it is the edges peel over time and the bottom as well.
