Problem with Smart status,Raw Read Error Rate,it even given me a T.E.C. Date of 03\17 on my smart monitoring apps.I Heard that Seagate Smart config is 48 bit and other Drive maker is 32,and this could corrupt smart data.Still i used Seagate Seatools and everything seems alright.Still because of all this,I WILL NOT buy Seagate again.////Probleme avec la statut SMART,Raw Read Error Rate me donne de forte hausse et baisse,il parrait que la configuration de l'information SMART est differente chez Seagate que sur les autres fournisseurs,Seatools(le verificateur de disque de seagate) ne donne aucune erreur,mais tout sa me dit rien qui vaille...je n'acheterait plus de Disque dur Seagate. |

We used this drive for a budget gaming build and you couldn't ask for more. It does what it says it should reliably. For the price, especially when it goes on sale is a no brainer. Pair this with your choice of SSD and you've got yourself a nice little setup. Great bang for the buck! |

If you need a quick fix for storing files along with an SSD or other items, then get this. But consider a price comparison between 3TB and 1TB, for as 3TB are starting to drop in price, especially from Seagate. |

Great drive for the price if you are looking for a second drive as a storage drive to coincide with a SSD. I have had some people say their hard drives are noisy but this one certainly is not. Would have no second thoughts in purchasing this drive again. |
