Cons:

Just like the 500GB model, the Momentus XT 250GB outperforms standard HDDs without the high cost of going with an SSD.It takes a few runs but after a while, your most used tasks (including startup/shutdown) will quicken.Alone, these drives are good. Raided, these drives are ridiculously fast. |
Decent price for a "best of both worlds" hard drive. However, it does not perform nearly as good as an SSD. Price is very close to the current 60GB SSDs on sale. So its fast speeds and low space or mediocore speed and high space and up to the consumer what is important to him.
