I have been buying and using them when they were the ones with the 5yr warranty. I recommend to anyone buying a new laptop or upgrading/repairing an old one that has sata to get the 7200RPM version. the performance increase is very noticable. It's too bad the warranty is only a year now down from the 5 it used to be, but these drives are very dependable. It may be time to upgrade before this drive dies.
