this harddrive was ultra easy to install - just plug and play.replaced my old laptop hdd with this one and no complaints.Just the right amount of storage space for a portable laptop and ultra quiet !!!5 yr warranty is bonusno dead sectors yet, and won't expect one. seagate is reputable. Pros: -fairly fast for a notebook hard drive (5400pm)-reliable, 5 year warranty-plug and play, no hassle Comment:
I replaced the HD of my old LG laptop with this. Installation was easy, just plug and play. The laptop recognized the HD instantly. Made the computer a little bit faster also (old HD was 4200 rpm). Have no issues so far. Great upgrade for older laptops. Highly recommended. |

I bought this to replace a failed hard drive in a client's laptop. The previous drive was a 10 GB 4200 RPM drive, so they definitely noticed a speed improvement, and the extra 70 GB is useful to them, as well. It was 100% plug and play in their laptop, and they couldn't be happier with it. |

A good value buy as an upgrade to the dead 40GB HDD in my old Dell laptop. I find it to be a bit slow, but you can't expect much considering the specs. If you're looking for performance, go for a 7200rpm model instead. |

This drive replaced my mother's aging/dying Toshiba laptop drive. It sped it up by just a bit. It was very easy to ghost everything onto this drive and it works just as expected. Plug and play! That's it! Highly recommended buy! |

Got that drive to replace a dead one in a customer laptop. So far, it's a bit faster (the dead one is only 4500 rpm) and doubled in capacity. With the excellent 5 years warranty, it's a good buy.
